The man with the glasses at the front was very helpful and told us the prices of the desserts, but ultimately, we decided to skip out on them. It would be helpful to have prices on the display case, because we wouldn't have to keep asking if they had them there. They clearly didn't have enough kanafeh to fulfill my order on the spot and I could tell they were scrambling to make more. It was nice getting a new batch fresh, but it's clear that the weakest aspect of this business is efficiency. I felt bad because a few people came after me and also had to wait while they were making more in the kitchen. Getting this story out of the way, the dining area is beautiful, their coffee is excellent, and the staff are very courteous (although I had a hard time communicating my order to the cashier). Typically I get a cup of black coffee and work in the cafe for a few hours, enjoying every second of it. Their lattes are also delicious and a favorite of mine when I come here for pleasure instead of business. The only complaint I could muster is that they have limited seating, especially during the winter when you can't sit outside. But this is just a testament to how loved this coffee shop is by all.
