Dropped my beautiful, 3 year old Dobie off for daycare at 730 am - perfect health, no cuts, wounds,…read moreetc. Picked her up at 515pm from daycare - injured from their admitted neglect. My dog had a huge wound across her face and her front paws were incredibly inflamed and damaged from being scraped up. At 515pm, I was waiting at the reception desk next to the door by the hallway where they bring the dogs up. I could hear two women whispering on the other side of the door about whether they needed to tell me that my dog was injured. I could hear one say that they needed to say something because it was "right there on her nose." Does this mean that if the wound was not readily visible that they would not have said anything? When asked how she obtained this gaping wound across her face, they responded that she must have been distressed when she was in the kennel while they were on a THREE HOUR BREAK. Now, I was told when I toured the facility that they have cameras that are monitored at all times. Well, this is clearly a lie, inaccurate, misinformation, fake news, whatever you want to call it - their claim that they monitor the cameras at all times is just not true. If it were true then I would not have picked my dog up with a gaping wound on her nose, and her smooth toe beans would not look like they were fur (from being shredded). If it were true then someone would have seen that she was in distress instead of being neglected in the kennel for THREE HOURS. Now, when I toured, they did inform me that they do take a break in the afternoons; however, when I'm told that cameras are monitored that should mean that while no one is there, the cameras are still being monitored - after all, that is what they claim. They told me about their policy of monitoring the cameras at all times MULTIPLE times - during the tour, during the social, dropping her off, etc. They prided themselves on this! Again, if this were true, someone would have intervened when my dog was trying to self-destruct in the kennel. The other incredibly disturbing part about this is that they WAITED to tell me about this. They did not call me, they waited until I picked her up (at which point the vet was closed). So my dog had a gaping wound across her face while she was at day care for hours, when they could have called me and I would have rushed over and taken her to the vet immediately. Another concern, but miniscule by comparison to an injury, my Doberman, who has been well trained and socialized (in daycare since she was 3 months old) gets along with all dogs even small ones because we also have a Pom and a Morkie. While she gets along with everybody, we specifically asked them not to put her in with little dogs, because she's 110 pounds and we want her to get her energy out - which she cant do at home around our small dogs. So when we picked her up the same day that she had been injured, they tried to placate us by telling us how well she played that day with little dogs. What? Why would they put 110 pound dog in to play with little dogs? Especially when I specifically asked them to put her in with dogs her own size and NOT little dogs. If you have a small dog, would you want your dog to play with a 110 pound Doberman? Probably not, and I wouldn't want my dog to inadvertently hurt another dog because she is so much bigger by comparison. The owner of this facility shows Dobermans. I wonder what she would do if she picked up her show dog from a facility where her dog was injured to a degree that the vet said, "Wow, that's going to leave a pretty scar" - and she would NEVER be able to show her dog again. Anyway, a $250 vet bill and a scar down my dog's face later, they STILL refused to refund the credit on my account, so I had to do a charge back with my bank. Bottom line, I'm not exactly sure how this place has glowing reviews, how they are still in business, because this place is literally balancing on the head of a pin. They are a lawsuit waiting to happen. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. Just save yourself the headache and the heartache and the money!

I originally went with a more expensive trainer ASR's upon what they "sold" me during their interview. After 2 months, with no advancement in my dog, I started the process again. This was my second interview with Jose and the interaction between Jose and my dog was amazing. I ended up changing trainers. In November my 7 month old Great Dane puppy was dropped off for board and train. My puppy pulled so we couldn't even walk together. It broke my heart when I drove off and left him. I pick him up 6 weeks later as my puppy is now 9 months old. He had down all basic obedience, knew some tasks, and we actually could walk together. In addition, the day after I pick him up we had our first outing together. He did wonderfully. He walked beside me, didn't react to anyone, and actually ignored a gentleman who came within an inch of his face. My dog didn't even flinch!!!! To say I am pleased is an understatement. I am so very pleased with D'Roman Dog training and boarding! I would recommend them and have done so already to many people!!

When I enrolled my puppy in Jackie's class she told me the cost would be $125 for 6 one-hour, once-a-week classes. The class she put us in had already started the week before, I was assured we would make up the missed week. Also when we enrolled we were told at the end of the course my puppy would get a certificate. When the course finished we had had only 5 classes, we did not receive a make-up for the class we missed initially. So, actually, we paid for 6 and only got 5. I did not mention the unmade-up class at the time as I didn't think it would do any good. The first 5 were merely an hour with us taking turns making our dogs do something. There was no real instruction as to how to train them. I didn't experience any connection she tried to make with the dogs or with the owners, it seemed she was just going through the motions to get us through the hour, which sometimes we didn't even get a whole hour. At the end of the last class she told us we would be getting our certificates soon, I assumed through email. I waited for about a month and the certificate never came so I sent Jackie an email letting her know (in case she forgot me). She responded that she was not giving out certificates. I reminded her that she had told me at the beginning we would be getting a certificate. She responded by saying, "I have decided not to send attendance certificates in order to keep tuition fees down". I reminded her that I had already paid my tuition and that I was told we would be getting a certificate at the end of the course. To date she has not sent the certificate, nor did she respond to my last request. Her class was a rip-off, I paid $125 for a course that was not completed and she did not present the certificate that she said was part of the course I had paid for. I would not recommend Jackie's Wag n Train to anyone who wants a quality experience with training their puppy. Save your $125 and train your puppy yourself, your puppy will get exactly the same quality of training Jackie offers, it'll be free and you could print out your own certificate.

Jackie's Wag N Train provides classes for dogs and owners to work toward goals like puppy manners, agility, canine good citizenship, and therapy dogs. She is excellent at training both owners and their dogs! Jackie's style is positive only. Her extensive knowledge of all breeds is amazing. I had seen her take a new dog and have him calm down and obey commands in just minutes. She truly has the knack. I have attended JWNT for over a year and have reached my goal of becoming certified with my Dog as a therapy dog.
