Not only was Nogomo on time, but he was early every day. From the quoting process to the finished job everything was prompt, professional, and affordable. I attempted to paint my living room on a Saturday prior to moving in. I quickly realized I had drastically underestimated the time it would take (EDGING SUCKS) and requested bids from a bunch of vendors via Yelp functionality. Nogomo called me, we set up a meeting at my house, I walked him through what I wanted and he was able to give me a quote within 15 minutes. He and his crew arrived on time and were very quick, clean and meticulous with their work. They spent a good 10 hours a day and even finished a day earlier than originally quoted. They were very flexible with my schedule and the scheduling of other contractors and maintenance issues that occurred during their timeframe. Contracted Always Good Painting via House Happy Concierge and boy was I glad we did. Nogomo (very nice and professional) came out and reviewed our guest bedroom, which we requested a quote on, asking all the right questions regarding paint colors, sheen, timeframe, and budget. It only took him one business day to produce a very reasonable quote and he was painting by the end of the week, finishing in a little over a day. One of the most irritating things we all suffer with when contracting out work in punctuality and quality of work, well Nogomo was actually a few minutes EARLY (take note you lazy painters and contractors) and set the tone early on with his work ethic (the man said I work through anything and boy did he! Nogomo also made sure we saw him work, keeping the door open, inviting us to periodically see how things are going, and finally reviewing the work with us at the end to ensure we were satisfied, which of course we were. I would not reccomend hiring Always Good Painting for work in your home. We hired Nogomo to paint several rooms and the ceilings in our home. He was polite and responsive to start the job. We were out of town when he finished so we were not able to inspect the job once he said he was finished and he requested full payment over the phone. We paid in full in good faith and trusted him when he said he "stood by his work." We found that not to be true. When we returned home, we were surpised to find a poorly incomplete and sloppy paint job. The ceilings were left with dark streaks showing that only a thin layer of paint was applied unevenly. Paint dripping was left several door frames due to poor taping, several areas of retexturing were not done as promised, ceiling light fixture was left hanging, paint lines were not straight, etc. After reaching out to him regarding the quality issues and the need to finish the job, Nogomo promised to come back and finish, but he never did. Our last several attempts to contact him have gone unanswered. Happy to provide photos but could not attach to this review. read more

Could not be happier! The most recent job was a bunch of touch ups throughout my house after installing hardwood floors and changing up towel bars in bathrooms. Nogomo was awesome, not only did he respond promptly to my online inquiry, he was at my house within a couple of days to do the estimate. I have actually only owned my house for less than three years and the previous owner painted it himself, but something he did resulted in bubbling all over the place.
