i found this company through Yelp. I looked through all the reviews and everyone spoke highly of them. So i ask them for an estimate to paint my house. I believe it was Hector that came out. We disc the project and he said he would get back to me in a day or so. After 3 days of no response from them I sent a follow up though the Yelp conversation. Never heard anything back. Yes he has the correct contact info. My guess ie that he didn't want the job. If they want to do a job, just say so. Not professional at all to not respond. For this I had to give them 1 star. thats only because he showed up quickly to review. UPDATE: Hector got back to me and informed me of the issue with the delay. Roller Works painted about 2/3 of the interior of our son's 1800 Sq ft townhouse. The areas we requested to be painted were a little fussy (only some rooms, a tricky vaulted stairwell, all ceilings, etc.) but they did exactly as we asked without needing us to check up and correct them. They spent a long time prepping and in all took a day longer than expected. I think because they were doing such a detailed and great job. They were the 2nd highest bid of 4 bids but their contract was very complete and included professional cleaning at the completion of the project. Unlike other painting contractors we have used, they used a generous amount of new white paint to cover the dark grey existing paint. Hector was prompt in replies and always professional. The crew was considerate, on time, careful with equipment to not damage property and always seemed to be working really hard. We had some touch up requests at the finish. They not only without complaint did the requested touchups but spent another half day on details. It really looks wonderful and we anticipate using them again for a stained ceiling in our kitchen. I was very disappointed in this company! The initial meeting went really well! We chose our paint colors and scheduled a start date and time then it all fell to pieces. Little to no communication. I did most of the tracking down when several times no one showed up at the scheduled day and time. We never had ANY work done and finally cancelled. Hector told us he would refund us our money but then we never heard from him. Ended up having to go through my bank to get a refund of the down payment (half of the total amount) that was paid prior to the start of the work. We went with a different paint company that was really great and we love the results. I hate posting a negative review and this paint company may be great. We just had such a bad experience. I hope that things have improved and maybe this was just a very unfortunate instance. read more

Roller Works just painted the main level of our 1900s craftsman home and they did an excellent job! We have tons of woodwork and they spent so much time prepping to make sure the finish would look great. We also had existing wallpaper that they had to paint around. I was worried but they did not get a drop of paint on it. The crew was very respectful and hardworking. They stayed past 6 pm on a Friday to make sure the project was done before the weekend. Rollerworks painted the exterior of my house and I am very happy with the way it turned out. Hector had a paint consultant come out and work with us on color choices and we found that very helpful. A few issues came up throughout the job but they were dealt with. My complaints were that at times I had to make multiple attempts to contact Hector but the on site lead was always available and I really appreciated his efforts correcting issues that arose. We really appreciated how quickly he got us on the schedule, and how efficiently he completed the project. He took care to reschedule our original day due to rain in the forecast, and then promptly took the next window of opportunity after the fence had dried out, but well enough time before the next rain was forecasted. I thought this was very professional and courteous as many contractors would simply push through just to get onto the next job. Prep and cleanup was also above my expectations.
