We recently moved from a 4 bed 3 bath house to a different city. We looked for movers via Yelp since I can get multiple quotes from moving companies in one spot. That's when I came across Always Ready Movers. I was then in contact with Isaac. I appreciated that he was not pushy after I received the quote. There were some movers that would call me at least 2-3x a day and it was just a turn off. We decided to go with ARM because of their competitive price. So leading up to the big day, Isaac sent me the invoice and we had to put a deposit down to secure the move date. No problem there. I texted him to confirm the day before and he confirmed back via text the same day. The day of the move, he texted that he was 30 mins out. Isaac came at 9 am with 2 other movers and a 26 ft U-Haul. They did a quick walk to look at what needs to be moved, and then quickly set up their stuff and wrap furnitures, and did their thing. As the day progresses, our stuff seemed like not all of our stuff could be fitted into the truck. We had told them that furnitures were our priority if the truck could not fit all of the stuff. They re assured me that everything could go in there. Well, that's not really the case, there were some furnitures that needed to stay behind :/ we obiously wasn't too thrilled about it. BUT it is what it is. We didn't head out to the new location until about 3 pm. So it took 7 hours alone just to load up everything into the truck. I know that a lot of stuff were disassembled and things needed to be wrapped just to be safe, but it took way longer than what I anticipated. It took one hour to drive to the new location. Then it took more time in the new location to set up everything, unload, and just making sure we had everything we needed. At the end of the day, it took a full 12 hours for the whole move. I did appreciate Isaac and his team making sure that everything was in order and wrapped up, it sucks that we couldn't move everything, but their price is competitive. I just wished the move would have taken less time. read more

I waited a few days before I decided to write this review. Isaac responded quickly to requests for quotes and after his walk through we agreed on the price. A few days later we set up a time for the move. I want to point out that the move was to Prescott, AZ. A six hour drive from Murrieta. On the day he was supposed to pack up, he showed up 3 hours late. He was supposed to arrive at noon on Friday 29 April, and did not show up until 3pm. They did not finish the pack-up and even had to get another trailer. The next morning they showed up at 7:30 to start packing again. This entire pack up was being done by just Isaac and his cousin. They did not finish until 3pm Saturday the 30th. I finally asked him to get another man to help with the unload, which he did do. So at 3 pm Saturday my wife and I head out to our new house. We got there at 9:30pm and waited for Isaac and his crew. They did not arrive until 1am. We had some air mattresses and sleeping bags that they used and slept on our living room floor. The next morning they got up at 8am and started the unpacking. My wife went and got them coffee and breakfast from McDonalds. They finished the unpacking at 2:30. In the process of the move they damaged the following items. A rocking chair that belonged to my wife's grandfather which had been restored. Isaac did see the damage and asked how much it would cost to fix it. We told him around $300-500. There was also damage to a breakfast table (see pic) which I can hopefully fix. However the worst damage that they did was to a one of a kind horse sculpture my wife had done. See pics for damage to sculpture and base. The box it was in was carefully packed in was marked on sides with the word Fragile (see pics). All in all this was not a good move for us. Isaac and his crew are nice and hard working, however Isaac, needs to learn to organize his business better and do a better job of estimating his jobs. We had a huge move in July 2021 from a 6 bedroom home to 6 storage units. Issac and his team moved us out beautifully, safely and efficiently. We had no damage to our furniture and everything was organized. He his very polite and respectful. On time and finishes the job!! Isaac is a MASTER with moving anything! We moved from a two story home to a one story home about 300 miles away. Due to the distance he and his team arrived the day before to prep all the times to save time in the AM. He arrived the next day (each trip he provided an ETA) with his team with a smile of his face and loaded up the truck. I was worried about all our items fitting but he is even calculated and strategic with placing items carefully in the truck. I waited a few days before I posted this and thought a lot about the points I want to cover. First of all let me say, I had an extremely terrible experience with this company. I have and am currently consulting with lawyers and I want to make sure no one else experiences what I did. To start, the company was almost 4 hours late to our agreed upon start time. LATE, The night before I was asked to push the time to 12pm due to personal issues. I said I could not do that, as I had specific childcare and needed to be finished by 530p, we agreed upon 10-11a start time. (2 hrs later) they still showed up 12pm. On top of that, the owner is so unprofessional and is impossible to communicate with. I had to call several times and text and even go through our Yelp conversation to get a response or ETA. He did not even have the courtesy to call me (the paying client) to let me know he was 2 hours behind. After showing up late, they hastily loaded the truck, and as a result could not fit all of our items. 1. we had to move all but a few heavy items downstairs/outside so ALLLLLL they did was basically walk from the door/lawn to the truck. 2. We have moved MANY times. My husband and I ALWAYS move completely alone or with 1 other friend & have never needed more than 1 truck. Ever. At this point it was nearly 3pm and the drive to my new home was 1.5 minimum, thus I knew we were not making my deadline. 3. Basically after standing around trying to figure out how to get our items up the 3 flights of stairs in the townhouse (which I called to MENTALLY PREPARE them for) and was blown off like I was dramatic, oh shocker it caused them a ton of stress. They put everything except key heavy items into the garage for yet again my husband and I to move everything up the flights of stairs. 4. I had to tell them to leave at 10:00pm because my daughter was asleep. The owner attempted to make things right by offering to come back the following day for free (not for free, this is the job you bid for, you agreed to and because you're unorganized and unprepared it dragged into a 2nd day causing so much stress to my family) He was 2.5 hrs late. Unresponsive and only after my husband literally called back to back did he answer to tell us he was going to be later than he already was. There is so much damage to the walls and staircase. We hired movers because in the last 3 months I was hit on the freeway THREE TIMES. No joke, can't make it up. None were my fault. 2 times I was hit by BIG RIGS. I have 2 discs in my neck bulging, 4 in my lower lumbar and 9 in my mid back have all the jelly squeezed out. I'm being treated extensively for this and was told NOT TO LIFT FOR THIS MOVE. But I had to move almost all of my items with my husband because of this "moving company" I was so injured after they left I had to go to urgent care and my doctors were blown away by how bad my back was the following week. I paid for a service and did not get it. So here we are, at this point after speaking to friends, family and lawyers I can either get a FULL refund voluntarily from the company, or we can go to court for a full refund, the medical bills, the damage to the house and the undue stress I was caused. My experience with Always Ready Movers was fantastic. They moved my mom from CA to Henderson, NV 2 weeks ago. Not only did they come in with best rate but they did the move in one day including tear down and setup on the other end. Isaac was very accommodating and knows what he's doing. He came when he said he would and finished loading within the 2 hours that he estimated it would take. He promised to call 30 minutes prior to arrival for loading and 30 minutes before arrival for delivery. That is exactly what he did. He made a very difficult time much easier. A few things to consider- if you're looking for meticulous coverage for all of your items (which takes longer) this is your company. Pros-They were very communicative, reliable, flexible and showed up on time. Cons- not the fastest movers I've had, but all the items in my house were moved and nothing was damaged or broken. They moved a 3 bedroom house, 3 car garage with all appliances. The owner Issac is extremely knowledgeable and exceptional at his craft. The move took longer than I expected (5 hours), but everything made it with no damage. They put everything in the house right when I wanted it. Isaac and ARM were a godsend! We were nowhere near as ready for your move as we needed to be and made a last minute call to Isaac and his team to help pack. They came in and saved the day. There was so much more to the move than we anticipated and they helped guide us through all of it without charging us outrageous amounts for the last minute changes and the additional help. They really could have asked for just about any amount and we would have been obligated to pay it. But nope. They were honest and helpful. Isaac was very communicative throughout the process.
