This company did my move on 4/27 from a house to an apartment. Overall they did a great job! I will list the good & bad below. The good: *They were on time. *They were very friendly and professional. *They worked very quickly and efficiently. *They were careful with large and fragile items. *They were flexible with my request for two drop off locations (storage unit and apartment). The bad: *I had to ask multiple times for a confirmation email of my scheduled service after it was agreed on via phone call. *An item was lost. I had a matching set of plant stands that were placed together when the movers were loading. But after they had unloaded and left, it took me a couple days to realize that one plant stand of the matching set was missing. I waited a bit to see if it would turn up in case I was overlooking it but I still, to this day, have never found it. I checked my previous home, storage unit, and new apartment and it's nowhere. So then I texted them a picture of the one I still had and asked if maybe it had been left in their truck. They responded that they checked and didn't have it. Back in October we engaged the services of A Class Movers for the 5th time. In the past we have found them to be efficient and very professional. I most likely have done a review on them previously. I used them for 3 moves and my parents used them for 2 moves. We have given out many referrals. We always had such a positive experience. As with moving there are always little things that get damaged, but nothing sufficient enough to be of any consequence. This last move was performed on a Sunday, and didn't include the owner of the business. However, I didn't think much of it. Two of the guys we had worked with previously and they are always so nice and easy to work with. The move went smoothly if not a little long considering we only moved 2 blocks away, but it was worth it to have things go right, until they didn't. The last things to be installed were the washer and dryer. They were very specific concerning the gas dryer hook-up. They were not very confident that there may have been a leak and we could completely understand their concerns. Its definitely a safety issue. However, they stated the washer was hooked up and ready to go and moved it in place. Once moved in place you cannot see the hook-ups. 2 days later my mom decided to do some laundry. About and hour later there was water all over the floor from the laundry room and covered a large area of the family room, kitchen, spare bedroom, the closet, living room and front door. They didn't complete the hook-up and didn't insert the water return. The house we just moved into and just painted and cleaned now had several thousand dollars covered in water. After contacting a remediation company we reached out to let them know what happened. We left multiple messages and emails with the women who answered the phone to be sent on to Lawson. We spent a weeks drying out and weeks before receiving any call back. While the overall damage could have been worse, between the remediation and the construction needed to put our house back whole still totaled well over $25k. Our last communication indicated that claims were filed with the insurance companies, and here we are over 4 months later and no follow-up on the claims or follow-up to let us know if anything was moving. No one has received a call including the company we had do all the work, which we provided at the very beginning. We understand mistakes can happen, but with no one to be accountable to other then the customer who is easily evaded or ignored, it's disappointing. With all of the referrals we have given and repeat business we have done, to simply have been left holding the dry vac. So I feel at this time I really have no other choice but to make other people aware that they need to re-check their appliances after they have been hooked up. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

Little did I know that this KidKraft swing set took an average of 30 hours to assemble. Lawson and his team, AJ, Greg and Adam are amazing, hardworking men. This is the third time I have hired Lawson and his team to move me. My review is way overdue. Without a doubt, Lawson always manages to take the stress out of moving. He moved me out of my 2900 square foot home. I have some fragile items. My baby grand piano, crystal chandelier, and two 8' pieces of glass made it without any damage. They were pad wrapped and packed well. They had to lay the baby grand on its side and remove the legs to prepare for the move. Then lay it on its side and reattach the legs at my new home. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for these men. They had to take my treadmill apart to get it out the door. Then put it back together at the new house. They had to take the door off in the new house to get the treadmill in the gym. My weight machine and peloton were also handled with the utmost care. My china and all of my fragile kitchen and bar items made it with zero damage. I will have to say I wrapped and packed all of my fragile kitchen and bar items myself. I am very particular about my fragile kitchen and bar breakables. I prefer to pack them myself. My artwork was handled with extreme care and pad wrapped for the move.
