(Although they ran very late- but I do not fault her, the timeline could have used some adjusting-non bridal party members should get hair and make up done LAST) Her photos aren't over edited, very natural looking and won't fad out. She worked with my Pinterest photos, letting me pick a handful of them although most them weren't my favorite out of them all. One of my favorite things about working with her was the turn about time. A handful of photos within a few days of the wedding. The blog - a summary of the day (about ~150 photos) within 2 weeks. Then the full gallery within 8 weeks. And my package gave me the rights to print in whatever way. And didn't have an insane up charge like many photographers do for printing but gave me the option if I wanted her to do it. My only critiques was that my ring was very off center in the close ups of my ring, (I should have got it resized) but I wish it had been centered before photographed. And while we were doing our family photos my family noticed a bit of impatience which could have been due to the heat, masks, running behind on photos, the chaos etc. I highly recommend talking to whoever is helping run the day (coordinators, family friend, etc) to help with the flow of photos, or the first look having vow books etc. The family side of the photos could have used an extra set of hands getting the order down (this might not be the case if you included a second shooter I did not) Ex. Smith family photo Ex. Jones family etc. up next. Etc. checking off those must have photos. All in all, my experience with Alyssa was great. She captured everything perfectly. Her turn around time was great and was follow as outlined in the contract. She did a great job of getting all the shots in of the day. She was great with communication, she always replied in a timely manner. I recommend anyone to her looking for a wedding photographer.

At that time, my son was 2 and hated having his picture taken. He'd be super silly and smiley and then he'd see a camera and all you'd get was NOOOO and his serious face. From putting leaves and sticks on her head to relate to his silly side and by being really caring, she managed to get him to smile in almost every photo and the photos turned out awesome. We also did not want a lot of photo books, prints etc, just access to all files after the wedding. Cambrae was a joy to have at our wedding and she took hundreds of great photos. Our wish was to not have too many posed photos, but to get a lot of photos from the reception and ceremony. The only challenge is that we got so many good photos that we do not know what to do with all of them! And the good news is that we did not go broke on the photos.

We'd gotten married in a friend's backyard a few months previous, but wanted to have a party for friends & family, and really had no idea about what we needed to do. Mhari came highly recommended, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Mhari took time to explain to us all the different options, what we could expect, and reminded us of stuff that we might have forgotten otherwise. She and her assistant showed up early, and were so unobtrusive, that people didn't realize she was there most of the time. We have some awesome "in the moment" photos that came out of the event, just genuine people having a good time. It came time for our personal photos, and we were whisked away to a few private areas of the grounds for the photos. Mhari is quite visionary, and can tell just from the mood and feel how things should work out. Even though our photos were "set up", they don't have a staged feel at all. One last bit... I absolutely hate having my picture taken - like many people do. But the thing is, Mhari was able to capture us in the moment, and I absolutely adore the pictures she took of us - even of me.
