On a rainy November afternoon, Kara came over to take photos of our new puppy. At the wee age of…read more10 weeks, our pup was timid and spent the first part of the day hiding under our couch, creating what could have been a pretty awkward and frustrating situation for any photographer. Without any hesitation, Kara got down on our hardwood floors, flat on her stomach, and started shooting from there. I was amazed at how she was willing to do anything it took to get shots she felt proud of and we loved. A dog person herself, Kara was great with our puppy and it was her easy going attitude and positive energy that got Lulu to feel more comfortable. We went on a walk around our neighborhood and Kara captured all that amazing puppy cuteness that I thought was going to be impossible to translate into photos. Kara was creative with ideas and helped me coax Lulu into great "poses" on a park bench, at the top of our stairs, and relaxed on the sidewalk amidst the leaves. It was such a fun day and I could tell Kara enjoyed it too--this girl loves photography, no matter what. Kara made the impossible possible. We now have eternal documentation of a time that flew by.
