When the original installer of my Premier Delgard aluminum fence failed to follow-up after numerous calls, emails and in person visit from June 24-July 16, 2025 about replacing 3 gates, I contacted AM Fence (Dave and Jeremy) July 21, 2025 who responded to assess the issue and explained the repairs required which included replacing/installing the 3 gates with a different latch and adjust/level the 3 gate posts including re-cementing a fence portion that had too much movement. Ten days later on July 31, 2025, the day of the work, Jeremy showed up 10 minutes early to prep and begin work helping Dave who showed up a bit later. Two hours later the work was completed where I was given a detailed explanation of the work, instructions (with merchandise information) on the gate latches and gate keys. A-M Fence installed a vinyl fence in our yard last fall. They did a fantastic job. Once they had it laid out they walked me around the yard to guide me through how everything would look and then got right to work. They finished in about a day. Our yard is a bit unlevel but they worked with it perfectly so that everything looked straight and even. On top of that, they were the best quote of the 4 I received and provided (and stuck to) the quickest timeline. Notes on the phone etiquette are accurate but it won't be an indication of your overall experience as they were so friendly and accommodating when on site. read more

I had emailed them for a couple weeks with the email address listed on their website requesting an estimate to fence in my backyard. When I never heard back to any of the emails I decided to give them a call. The guy I spoke with on the phone did not seem too interested to be talking to me. But we went over all the details of my project, from size and type of fence to dimensions of the area to be fenced in. He then told me he would give me a call later in the day or the next morning with a quote. Well that was 3 weeks ago. So I'm not sure if he forgot about me totally or really didn't want another job. Al and Dave did an amazing job on our fence! Their price was excellent. I had concerns about a small hill and gully the fence needed to span. They made it look beautiful and made sure there were no gaps for our dog to weasel through! They completed the job in one day and were very tidy. Highly recommend them! Thanks guys! read more

These guys are fantastic. Al is the father and can come across as a grumpy old man but if you have any sense of what people are about you would know he is just a seasoned professional that calls it like he sees it. Dave does the installation with his son and couldn't be more professional. They had our entire yard finished in a day and it's perfect. No more tie outs for our dog! Fence is perfectly straight across the top and very little gaps at the bottom which I was prepared for when I had topsoil delivered before installation. It took a little longer than we had hoped from the time we ordered it until installation but that's because of all of the rain we have had this year and the fact they are a small company. Overall, well worth the wait. We couldn't be happier and would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a professional job. Oh and did I mention, they came in $800 less than the 2 other quotes we received for the same exact fence? Can't beat that! read more

They have done a few fences in the area that look really nice, but their customer service is horrible. I called up to schedule an appointment and they sounded uninterested. Then forgot the time for the appointment, a really old grumpy man showed up later, was nasty, and never even came by to give us the estimate! Taking my business elsewhere.... read more

Let me just start by saying I am not easy to impress, we are always have different little things done to our home when I get in the mood to change something up. We had a large part of our fence re done last year when we had an In ground pool put in. It was AWEFUL! I hated it and after fighting with them and them coming back time after time to "fix" it I just got so fed up. I have a Large corner lot so everyone can see my fence when driving or walking through my development-- Later in the year a huge storm hit nj and most of the fence broke and or blew down. ( I was not that sad about it by an means ) so I shopped around and read reviews and another contractor at my home suggested AM fence, I want to call that guy, thank him and give him a big hug!!! AM did my fence Yesterday and I LOVE IT!!! They exceeded my expectations which is not an easy thing to do. You will love your fence if you go with them I am SURE OF IT!!! ALSO, I don't know how they do it but they were ALOT cheaper then the two other popular SJ fence companies. THANK YOU AM FENCE' my home looks fabulous, your guys were so nice that installed the fence and left no trace behind of a fence being installed. ( I agree the guy that answers the phone ( the owner ) is a little on the dry side but don't let that scare you away!! :) they do a GREAT JOB!!! read more
