I hired this company for a vinyl fence installation. Overall, the installation process went fine, but I noticed factory defects (deep indents) on three prominent panels visible from the street. I contacted the company two weeks post-installation. They quickly agreed it was a defect and promised to replace the pieces within two weeks.Unfortunately, communication has since stalled. After multiple follow-ups, I was told parts were on order, but weeks have passed with no updates and no response to my latest email. I am posting this to make others aware of the current communication delays. I will gladly update this review and the rating once the three defective pieces are replaced. They finally came out. Replaced the three panels as you can see in the picture. One panel is slightly shaded at different color and the other one has a dent now. read more

I had A&S fencing come out to install new fencing on my property. Sue came out to measure and give me a quote for the fence installation, and she also offered suggestions on where to place my gates and explained how the fence would be installed. Both Ashley and Diana were always helpful when I called the office for updates on the easement and township permits. When it was time to schedule my installation, Diana kept me up to date on when the installers were coming out. On the day of the installation, Orlando and I walked around the area where the fence was to be installed, discussed how I wanted the gates to swing, and confirmed everything before starting the job. Orlando and his crew took their time to install the posts, fence, and gates, cleaned up afterward, and answered any questions I had during the installation. Orlando was very professional and clearly detail-oriented, taking care with any adjustments and making sure everything was aligned and installed correctly. We had a way overdue fence that needed to be replaced and called this local Husband and wife run business. They were very backed up with work, but our patience paid off. Sue came out and measured and was prompt with her estimate. She gave good advice on the type of fence materials we should go with to make our fence have a long life. They gave us a great quote and Andy the owner showed up the day of install. He had over 100' of fencing removed and replaced in about 5 hours. I was impressed with how thorough he was. I expected him to leave the old post bases in the ground and I was wrong, he just about ripped out and removed every one by himself. The entire install was very professional and the quality of the materials were as advertised. We are really happy with our new fence and no mess was left behind. Money well spent! read more

We decided to hire A & S Fencing after getting quotes from 3 different fence companies. We are very happy with that decision and the expert installation we received. Our backyard presents a few challenges as we are situated on an upward slope with rocky terrain. Our previous fence did not hold up against windy conditions because they did not dig the post holes to the proper depth. A & S Fencing did what was necessary to install the wooden privacy fence correctly. I hope the pictures do justice to their beautiful work. Adam and Dave really did a bang up job on our fence. Bought a new construction home and part of the purchase agreement was for a backyard privacy fence and front yard aluminum fence to be installed by A&S fencing. While the materials took a long time to arrive, once they did these guys did an excellent job with the install. I'm usually having to QC contractors I hire because their standards just aren't up to snuff (or maybe I'm OCD). As I watched Adam (owner) and Dave do this install, though, I was thoroughly impressed. They checked everything multiple times, cleaned up every bit of dirt and construction dust after themselves and made sure every foot of fencing was lined up perfectly. My ONLY complaint is that they could do a bit better in proactively communicating with customers. I always had to reach out to them to check on the status. Or if they didn't show up when they said they would, I'd have to write an email to find out why. It really wasn't a big issue, but a heads up saying "hey, we actually can't make it out until tomorrow" would have been nice. All that said, the end result is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. A&S may hit a few snags with the logistics but the work these people do is Top Notch. Highly recommend! read more

6/5/20. Update.... well the owner finally called me after seeing the reviews. He claimed that he did not get any of my messages or email and that he had in fact been out to the house to inspect the fence earlier in the year. Claimed he even spoke with my wife who of course has no recollection of that conversation at all. He seemed pretty upset and I finally asked him why he called? He said "do you want your fence fixed or not? I'm trying to work with you". I couldn't tell because he had so much energy he seemed like he was mad at me. Eventually he got around to explaining that wood warps and is not warrantied. He told me the post would cost $21 plus cement cost. i explained that the money didn't bother me and I just wanted it fixed. A week later, today, he came out and fixed it. It looks good now. So in the end he made it right but it sure took a lot of work. read more

Very pleased with our new fence. The installation went well. Everyone was very easy to work with.

The fence is gorgeous however, we have 3 different gate openings all with latches. Every latch was unaligned and defective meaning that when the gate opens and closes, it does not latch properly all the way resulting in the gate door swinging open and shut with wind, etc, causing my dog to have an opportunity to escape - you get the idea. In order to have it properly latch, we have to jam the gate door in an upward motion, with force. And sometimes that doesn't help. So then we have to use our hands and manually pull the latch down. If we are on the inside of the fence then there's no way to do this. It just seems sloppily done. If it was just 1/3 of the gate latches I wouldn't be leaving this review. However all 3?! I'm disappointed. read more

We just finished having this wonderful family company fence a portion of our property in Lower Bucks County. We are ecstatic over several things: First, our grounds have massive and older trees all over it, including the perimeter, and Miguel, the supervisor, made sure he knew exactly what we wanted to do with the trees and their root system....and he did it. Every. Single. Special. Cut. No machine for the holes, all by hand. Fencing slats cut and angled to not harm the tree and keep the fence line even and clear. Remarkable job. And his assistant was amazing and indefatigable.....he just kept working even when he wasn't feeling well. I think we worried more about him than he did. Second: from the moment we called to the final time we called to thank the office folks for all of their care and their work, everyone was superbly friendly, attentive, kind and friendly. We felt like a part of their family. And lastly: the co-owner who came out to plan it out and map the project, worked with us with fitness and professionalism, and the company kept us informed about the status of the fence being built, the crew being lined up, the weather and its impact, and everything else we needed to know. They made it super easy. This is one terrific company....we wish all companies were like this! read more

They did a great job with fence. but my both gates are off the alignment and not able to secure the gates. I been calling for months to fix this issues. their answer is " ohh the guy is not working in your area " and they will say next week, next week, next week. well I learned from my mistake and will never recommend this company for fencing. read more

They were really great to work with and friendly. We originally had a different contractor who ordered the material and then could not complete the job. We had a difficult time finding a company to install our fence using our material on short notice. Adam was very friendly came to look at the yard and arrived a week later to install. Like many of the other reviews I had a similar experience with Adam, the owner. I'm shocked they're still in business. Adam is extremely rude and arrogant. They may give you a low quote, but you definitely get what you pay for. I also got no response until leaving reviews. They also seem like a shady business in general. I would avoid. read more
