AM Party Rentals were a fantastic vendor to work with for my wedding. We needed to rent chairs for our ceremony, but we also needed a vendor who would be able to work on pretty tight, exact schedule. The permit for our ceremony venue was for five hours, so the vendor had to be able to do a same-day delivery and pickup within a certain timeframe. We found one other vendor who had the bamboo chairs we wanted and could sort of accommodate what we needed, though it would've required us to rent a Lugg to take the chairs from the facility to the garden and back again (and wouldn't have guaranteed chair setup at the venue). But after reaching out to AM Party Rentals, who also had the bamboo chairs we wanted (which proved to be somewhat difficult to track down for some reason), Susan replied by email quickly, asked some logistical questions, and came back just as quickly with a quote. The quote included the price of the chair rentals, as well as labor costs, which included delivery, pickup, set up, and take down, as well as additional fees for the same-day, exact-time requirements. Everything was fairly priced and it was extremely convenient not having to coordinate additional services like Lugg or ask family and friends if they wouldn't mind setting up a bunch of chairs while in dress clothes. My brother was point man at the ceremony venue (Morcom Rose Garden in Oakland), which was somewhat of a difficult and unusual layout to work with, but he and the delivery men worked together to create a great seating arrangement that enabled everyone to see the ceremony clearly. The guys were also very kind and friendly, which is much appreciated on such a stressful day. Plus, those bamboo chairs were gorgeous and helped me achieve the exact look and theme I was going for. I did a lot of research for dancefloor rentals. I didn't want anything fancy, but rather something decent and durable for my wedding. I decided to work with AM Party Rentals because their dancefloor rentals were the most budget-friendly in the Bay Area! I reached out to AM Party Rentals and was able to get a contract in place. They were super easy to communicate and work with! A month prior to my wedding day, I reached out to AM Party Rentals to see if they could provide me with a contact name of the driver who plans to deliver the dancefloor pieces for my wedding reception. They informed me to call them in the late afternoon the day before my wedding because it was still too early on for them to give me that information. So I reached out to them again the day before my wedding and was able to receive a contact name in the event that there was an issue with the dancefloor delivery. On my wedding day, I got to the reception about 1.5 hours after the expected delivery time. The dancefloor was completely setup, so I had nothing to worry about! I think the oak wood dancefloor seemed to have matched with my wedding theme, so I was really pleased with the turnout. Towards the end of the wedding, we were able to open up the dancefloor to have my guests dance to the music! After my wedding was over, AM Party Rentals was able to pick-up the dancefloor pieces before 11PM, which was the official end time of my wedding. Thank you for renting us a 30x30 clear tent, 2 heaters, tent lighting, one 60 in round table and 20 white fold up resin chairs. The items rented arrived on time and served their purpose. We appreciated having the tent because it was chilly and later in the evening, it rained. So, the tent was very important. The lighting did its job well in the tent and the heaters were very strong - causing anyone seated near them to be extremely warm. The set up and clean up was professionally done! It looked great! We ended up with a perfectly nice tent that did its job very well. Dealing with AM Party Rental was ok. We had to call them and follow-up often in order to get questions answered (versus getting clear quick answers via email) and really, we got the most detailed responses when we eventually had a conversation with the team lead about a week before our wedding. Ultimately, I would recommend AM Party Rental. I would include a few recommendations to get the best experience when working with them: 1) know that you'll have to call (not email) to get questions answered in a timely fashion and, 2) expect any tent rental to be expensive. I used AM party rentals for my wedding June 7, 2019 in Mountain View and my rehearsal dinner June 6 in Newark. Both orders arrived on time and were in good shape with everything there and pick up was a breeze. The rentals were in good shape and they had lots of inventory to choose from and were flexible with changes to my order. I rented tables, chairs, and table cloths for both events and their pricing is competitive. -1* is because their methods for orders is very frustrating and causes many delays and misunderstandings. I worked on an order with one staff, then they'd have a vacation or day off and everyone else wouldn't have access to my order because they each have their own locked email. So, I'd spend a week forwarding order forms to 3 staff and redoing credit card auth forms just for simple changes, then, someone would forget to send me an updated copy. I luckily discovered this 2wks before my wedding and was able to shave $300 off my order of extra stuff I forgot I added before rsvps and cancellations trimmed my guest list. A huge thank you to AM Party rentals for squeezing into my shorter delivery time for my historic landmark venue. Many companies told me no because the venue opened earlier than the rentals so my delivery time was less. AM spoke to managers and got me authorization so I could work with them and are a preferred vendor for my venue as well. read more
