Relaxed, Flavorful Brunch Spot in Paris
We had to stop by Sam that evening, so we decided to try their sister restaurant next door for brunch -- and it turned out to be such a great choice! This spot is perfect if you're craving something flavorful, nicely plated, and reasonably priced.
Food: 5/5
I absolutely loved the tea they served -- it came in a cute blue teapot and was such a cozy touch. Every dish we ordered was super flavorful, and I really appreciated how the staff let us take our time with our meal (very Parisian of them!).
The standout for me was definitely the chicken dish -- it reminded me so much of Hainanese chicken from Chinese cuisine. It was refreshing, light, and exactly what I needed that day. Honestly, all the dishes were solid, but next time I'd probably just order that one for myself since I'm a big eater!
They didn't have the boiled shrimp dish that's usually at Sam, but it makes sense since it's a sister restaurant and the menu's a bit different.
Service: 5/5
No reservation was needed, the vibe was chill, and the staff were friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in Paris and want something flavorful and comforting without all the fuss.
All in all, definitely coming back! read more
