Not sure why the reviews is so low but I love this company and the customer service is awesome

Amada was great. They were recommended to us by Wittenberg when mom needed some in home care. Rob was very patient and understanding when mom kept changing when she wanted people to come in to help her. It's great that there is no long term contract and we weren't required to pay for a minimum number of hours per week. They only billed us for when they actually came in. Mom really enjoyed all the caregivers who came to see her. It allowed her to stay independent for a little longer. I would strongly recommend Amada for anyone who needs a little extra help. Nope wouldn't hire them. When my grandmother hired this company the caregivers stole money and medication and the company instead of doing an investigation basically told my family tough luck. They were hired for 12 hour shifts used their shower cooked only what they wanted and didn't bother taking my gma outside on the deck. read more

Do not use them to take care of a loved one. My mom needed a nurse after getting out of the hospital, so we tried Amada . The first couple days she had good help, but after that it went down hill. First the girl was late. So my mom called to see if someone was coming. The office said the girl was having car problems. So after 2 hours she showed up and said sorry she over slept. She was supposed to be there at 12 but didn't get there until 2. So would you trust someone that can't get to work by 12?? So of course someone was lying. Then my mom decided to take a nap at 5, the girl just left. My mom heard the alarm go off in her bedroom. WTH if something would have happened to my mom ? I'm so mad!! What kind of service hires these irresponsible people.? Once again this morning waiting for someone to show up, never showed. So my mom was left by herself, until a family member could get there. We did fire this crappy company after this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If something would have happened to my mom I would be doing more than just writing a bad review. I am gonna check if there is anything we can do to this company legally. They leave people that need them. It looks like from other reviews they tend to not show up for others too. 5 stars on their website??There's no way!! Maybe in different parts of the country but definitely not in NW Indiana. read more
