I have never had such good in-home service as I do now. The old company I had I would go 2-3 weeks without service or helping my home and ride it home. We had a service interruption for one day and they took care of it immediately. The people that come into my home are attentive. They take care of anything I need. If if they think I need help they help me. If they think I can do it on my own they let me try. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with all of them. The care that they give is wonderful. I I love the girls. They do a great job and they take no time to help at all. They don't question you. They just do it. The only thing to ask you is what I want done and they do it. I'm not demanding at all because I don't think that's fair to anyone but they just jump on it and do it and I love them for that and they treat my dogs with respect. They treat me with respect. The stress of caring for Mom and working full time was overwhelming my sister (I live further away making it difficult for me to help as much). We interviewed three agencies and were instantly impressed with Brightstar. Jean, the owner was professional, open, and made us feel she was truly listening and understood our issues. One of the other agencies was over 30 minutes late for the initial interview (with no phone call). We were assigned Gwen. She is amazing! She is extraordinarily kind, patient, and reliable. I wish we could have her 7 days a week-she only works 3 of our days (11am-7pm). She has become mom's friend as well as caregiver. She ensures mom is stimulated mentally, physically active, fed, cared for, showered, etc. She brushes and curls her hair. She takes her for walks, rides in the car, reads with her, plays word games, and talks to her. The caregiver we have the other days of the week is also very kind, reliable and caring. She is a little less assertive than Gwen and lets Mom manipulate her into letteing her be lazy, but she also provides excellent care. We are now going to move to 7 day/week care and I hope that our secondary caregivers will be just like Gwen. They aren't the least expensive, but they are the best! Highly recommend.

They had true compassion and cared about helping. They bonded with mom who needs a lot of assistance and understood all her medical and physical requirements.
