I care more about the landscape of these places. 'Landscape is bigger than grape' is my motto (just invented, but sounds cool). Seriously, this is not a wine tasting place but was a site were vine was bottle and in the back of the 2-3 buildings you can see the names of the brands they bottled and years and in what international competitions they participated and all those anecdotes. I saw this like an ideal place to take perfect photo shoots in a very hot and sunny day. I loved walking by the vineyards pretending I am doing some work. They are kind enough to let you wander freely (and free parking too). They have tours but my friend and I preferred the freedom to browse on our own, but really appreciate and value (as a volunteer for several causes myself) the work of these precious senior volunteers dressed in Victorian attire. The baby carriage conquered by heart (I should have brought one of my toys to put in these!). All so lovely, including the poster you get as gift for visiting. Awesome treatment to the visitors. I would love to go back with my picnic basket and enjoy the premises. Definitively I will visit Ravenswood whenever they do one of those historical events I saw in their activities calendar.

I was a part of the planning committee and had a chance to work directly with the staff. Every person I interacted with was a true pleasure, professional, and extremely kind. The staff was really communicative and helpful throughout the process. I was extremely impressed on the day of the event. The planning team and the point of contact was always so responsive and thoughtful to the planning of the event. It really took away the stress and anxiety when it comes to planning a company event for 400 people. They helped us coordinate every step of the way. We got a chance to tour the facility, which it gave us a great idea of the layout and amenities. The day of the event was very fun and ran smoothly. We had someone help us with check in and also was there to greet each guest. She was a very lovely girl who was so helpful and welcoming to the guest by letting them know the amenities and schedule for the day. The staff all had blue shirts, which was easy to spot them and every one of them was so friendly. The food was really wonderful and we're so happy we chose the option we did. There was potato salad, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, salad, beans, pesto salad, and rolls. The staff was very accommodating at the venue, they made sure to have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. To top it all off, we had yummy snow cones that came in cherry red and tropical blue. The kids had really seemed to love the snow cones. We opted to have an open bar feature at the event, which the guests enjoyed beer and wine options. The venue was really beautiful and the trees provided much needed coverage from the summer sun. There were plenty of picnic tables for people to sit in various areas of the park. There were activities that included, bocce ball, swimming pool, horseshoe games, rock climbing wall, inflated golf course, bouncy house, basketball court, and volleyball court. This was such an amazing event and we had so much positive feedback from guests. The staff was really sweet and sent us a gift basket during Christmas. We hope for the opportunity to work with them again. I highly recommend this venue for events!

At this time of year, there's amazing colorful flowers all-around. In San Ramon, we're quite spoiled -- there's a lot of parks with Central Park being the premiere of 'em all. It's no Central, but very nice, and sweet, indeed.

Max was 100 for a comfortable party flow. Basically you bring your own food, drinks, decorations and the team helps you set up and clean up. Entrance is $16 per child for a maximum of 2 hours, and honestly, two hours is more than enough. The space itself is small but perfect for little kids. It feels like they're exploring their own tiny town with all the pretend-play stations: an ice cream truck, spaceship, chef's kitchen, grocery store, laundromat, pet store/groomer, and pizza parlor. They do have a small reading area, but there are little to no books. The play area is padded, which is great for crawling children. I wasn't totally sure how often things are sanitized. There's a basket for toys that need extra cleaning, which made me wonder how frequently everything is actually wiped down if we're asked to set items aside ourselves. Party space is limited to the entrance/hardwood area. I was told the max is 20 adults and about 15 children, but I honestly can't imagine everyone fitting comfortably in that small space.
