To make matters worse after the nurse confirmed these to likely be final hours the caregiver asked if since the family was still awake she could just go now as her stomach hurt and essentially she quit mid-shift. The management team did apologize that their employee "got sick" the next day and refunded the prepaid portion of services which were not rendered. We were of course less than happy with the service of the caregiver provided and in fact have gone another direction for care now for my father rather than hiring this company for long term care.

But, after I fell on my head ,gave myself a black eye, was whisked off to be c-rated and MRIed, sent back to the hard bed, later to be sent back to hospital because of an ulcer. I had complained about the burning in my stomach, but because of bad communication between the personnel, I was not given the anti reflux meds until the doctor was called after dark. I hope fate does not make me stay there ever again. The five star rating??? I would not trust it.

Our physical therapist, Steve O., was remarkable! On time to the minute on all 6 visits. He is extremely knowledgeable about hip surgery, and provided excellent, thorough, information and visual aids on recovering from it. To top it off, he is a great guy! Easy to talk to and ask questions of, with a great sense of humor. His last visit was today and we are going to miss him.

The nurses and PTs we have had (for hip and knee replacements) have mostly been very good - but…read morescheduling is a nightmare. The office staff is not at all helpful and they will not schedule visits until the night before. Once you have been assigned someone, you can communicate directly with them - but until then dealing with the office staff is just awful. For the knee replacement, they sent a PT to do both PT and nursing duties. This individual was not qualified for wound assessment/care, and removed the staples too soon resulting in the wound opening - and now we are facing another month of wound treatment. We have had three different "case managers" and the communication has been dreadful. Very disappointing - I would not recommend them.
