She even met us at our venue before our wedding to walk the grounds and scope out the best places to take pictures and a picture plan. Rockport is easily one of my favorite spots in the state, but this review is really about the…read moreiconic fishing shack that draws the crowds. On the bright side, there is no admission fee, you can walk all around the shack and take as many photos as your little heart desires. If you were expecting any more however you may be a little disappointed! The shack itself is actually a replica, built after the original was destroyed some years ago. It would have been great if there was at least an info plaque or memorial around the area, but all you will find instead are some lobster remains from the restaurants nearby! Overall, an inevitable photo op if you are in beautiful Rockport, but don't expect more than that from this landmark.
