We were booking pretty last minute but we really wanted some good fall foliage in our photos, and Stephen was able to squeeze us in on a Friday morning and it was perfect. We booked a 1 hour session at Cider Hill Farms and ended up taking photos for an extra half hour with an outfit change and we had such a good time! Stephen was so friendly and relaxed during the shoot, and even though it is a very busy season, he was able to get us our gallery from Oct. 28 just under three weeks later. The gallery we received is absolutely stunning. The foliage and the lighting were perfect on the day of the shoot, but Stephen was really able to capture both, and colors in our photos are unbelievably beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for. I have been holding my head a little higher in the days since my shoot, what a confidence boost!!! It was just what I needed and more than I could have ever imagined. It's known to some that I had an eating disorder and body dysmorphia 30 something years ago, for which I sought treatment (back in the day when it wasn't really a positive thing to do so.) The birth of my children made things easier for me to accept myself the way I was and I have kept my negative behaviors in check because of my children, but in the last year or so I could feel my mind obsessing about my flaws and my size, which has been getting increasingly larger due to many health conditions and the inability to work out in any form, including walking. I was browsing Facebook one day and saw a photo shoot that Allie had done and decided it was finally time, even at my heaviest, I thought this would be a good reason to work on my health, I now had a goal. I was so nervous!!! This was so not me, so far out of my comfort zone, but I did it, I booked my session for my 52nd birthday. I didn't actually lose the weight I had hoped to and considered canceling multiple times, but something kept telling me to just do it!!! And I am so glad I did!!! I have never felt more beautiful and confident in my whole life!!! Allie is amazing to work with and talks you through every step. The photos she took really capture the true me!!! There were genuine smiles and real laughs in some of the photos and those were my favorites, they were so real!!! Allie is such a talented photographer!!! I sent them to a friend who had already booked her own newborn photo shoot and she said she regretted putting down a deposit with another photographer because she loved Nicole's style! We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. She was very gracious during our session and even went a little over time because we had to feed the baby in the middle of it. Photos came back within two weeks and we're very happy with them. While the location was beautiful, it would have been nothing without Seth's eye for light, angles and positioning. They were such an easy going, and might I add, hilarious couple to work with. They had us genuinely laughing which made for some really beautiful candid shots. Their love for photography in addition to each other is evident by the way they speak to one another and bounce ideas off each other to find just the right shot. To say that they are talented and easy to work with would hardly be enough. They are WONDERFUL. Seth even went above and beyond and sent me a sneak peak the very next day after the photo shoot. Amy photographed our small restaurant wedding in Cambridge, MA on August 12, 2017. She was great to…read morework with and really put us, people who have never been professionally photographed before, at ease. After chatting with us on the phone, she asked for a list of our family members's names and the photo groups that we wanted. This was super helpful in making sure we didn't miss any posed shots. Our photos turned out great. I like Amy's style because there is a focus on people, not gimmicky shots. We ended up taking family photos outside of the restaurant, and photos of just the two of us around the MIT campus. Amy brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the day!

She was kind and patient with our baby and the hour flew by! Our baby had a great time! We originally hired Kate to do our newborn photos last year (April 2020), and unbeknownst to us...or anyone, they ended up being canceled because of the pandemic. It was a really hard time for us to be in a pandemic, with a newborn, as new parents, while isolated. Missing out on our newborn photos was a small but nonetheless heartbreaking loss for me. Kate was so graceful and kind, she offered alternatives and came to shoot us (from afar) outside at our home...those photos will be forever memorable.
