Amanda is definitely the best in the business. My fiance and I received her recommendation from my sister and brother-in-law who used her to sell their condo in a very bad 2010 housing market. She was very professional, personable, and was able to get them the best offer possible at an incredibly difficult time. Fast forward to summer of 2014, when we were looking for a condo. There was NO question who we were going to use for our agent. We met with her at her office where she told us all about her and her philosophy. She then took the time to get to know my fiance and I. We told her about ourselves and what we were looking for, but she dug in a little deeper and asked us very specific questions - asking us to answer individually so she could see what we were both thinking. I don't think most agents take that amount of time (they are SO busy ALWAYS...especially if they're good!) to get to know their clients the way Amanda does. This helps SO much in the process of looking for a condo. We looked at condos for a few months - on each trip, she would debrief with us after to see what we liked and didn't like. Just recently I learned that my lease was coming due a few months earlier than I expected. This was really bad news as it left me with only a couple weeks to find a new place and I had extensive work travel during that time. We priced the place way too high and absolutely no one was seeing the condo I loved as I saw it and I kept dropping the price until it the selling season was over. At that point I got rid of the old agent and hired Amanda. She counseled me to take if off the market and rent it until we could essentially restart the whole thing. So that's what I did.
