My grandmother is fairly independent and didn't like the idea of having a caregiver, but Pulse One assured me that they would find the right fit. Sure enough, the first person that they sent me was a match for my picky grandmother. She has been super helpful with everyday tasks, without making my nana feel dependent. I helped a psychotherapy client of mine move from another place in Hollywood where he was doing terribly. Within a few weeks of living at the Plaza, he came to life, making friends, looking much healthier, taking care of personal hygiene, all of which hadn't been happening for at least a year in the other place.
