It's very hard for me not to give 5 stars to this restaurant, they did everything right. From the start the service and decor were amazing. (See photos) When I try new places I always bring someone who understands food & service industry so this time I brought El Paso Food & Travel editor (keep unnamed) we ordered a couple dishes to share and we're definitely impressed. First dish was the Seafood platter(JALEA DE MARISCOS) . Being originally from New England and knowing seafood this should not have impressed me at all. But the seafood tasted fresh and full of flavor and the side of "Tigre leche" made it that much more flavorful but my co-foodie preferred the pesto dip more. The one and only suggestion I would make is the oyster should be fried then RE-shelled it make the oyster to much work and dried them out being cooked attached to the shell. But overall it was a solid 7out of 10. The next dish we tried was a savory dish called (TALLARIN SALTADO) it was a beef base with plenty of meat , onion and tomato. The dish was full of flavor a bit heavy on the pepper so beware if you don't like peppery foods. I also wish they added a handful more tomatoes to this dish to offset the balance of textures. But the linguini was cooked al dente and perfect the meat comes at temperatures requested but order a temp below your normal request since the meat will still cook while sitting in dish. So if you normally like medium steak order medium rare because by the time you eat it the meat will be medium. This dish was more of a 7.9. Would order again and request more tomatoes . For drinks we ordered a Peruvian favorite Carajillo which is a coffee base drink it was ok. Tasty but a bit watery for my taste. The second drink was Amor en Miraflores now this was a delicious and refreshing drink. Full of flavor and alcohol . Both drinks get an 8. Lastly we ordered desert (SUSPIRO LIMENO) was a delicious custard type desert that was rich in flavor with a tasty crème topping. It was like eating a WERTHERS CANDY MOUSSE. This desert was def a 8.5. I will def be back to try more dishes since the place was very clean and the staff was attentive and pleasant. read more

Food was unique, delicious and plentiful. Could've split my plate with hubby. We both had the Lomo Saltado. What a delicious plate. We both were concerned with all the fries being at the bottom of the plate and then meat, vegetables and sauce covering them. We were expecting a soggy fry. But no! They got soaked in that sauce and wow! I could eat a bowlful of fries and that sauce. Then for dessert we tried the Torta de Elote. A sweet corn cake with a corn shaped ice cream on top. So delicious. Also tried the alfajores. They were good, just a little dry. But they were beautiful. Our server kinda got lost for a short while. Had to wave him down. But honestly enjoying the delicious food and hardly noticed. We will be going back to try other items. Great find! read more

This was the 1st time trying out this establishment (June 16) and it was not a good experience. To start its a smaller venue and offers indoor and outdoor covered patio seating, the place itself is a modern and decorated well. We were told that we had to sit at the bar due to them having no tables available, which was odd for a tues which one would think is a slow day but they did have some poetry reading event on that day. We were advised that once a table became available we would be relocated, so we agreed. We went ahead and had our drink orders taken and proceeded to place the order for food due to the fact that the waitress seem to be busy and getting her to come back in a timely manner might take a while. So after the order was taken we had to wait almost 20 min to get just one plate delivered and other 10 min for plate 2 and then we were offered a table outside, plate 3 still had not shown up by this time and keep in mind this is a party of 3 people so while waiting for the last plate to come in so we could eat TOGETHER, the other 2 plates that were delivered are sitting untouched and getting cold (Salmon plate and Huancaina pasta). After waiting 10 more minutes we ask the status of plate 3 which was a Lomo Saltado and the waitress said she thought is had been delivered. She came back and advised that plate 3 had been given to someone else and a new one would be made but its a 15 min delay. So we proceeded to start our dinner as it was cold at this point. Moral of the story.... the kitchen is in disarray they are not able to have the food ready for a table for EVERYONE in that party to eat at the same time! Our meals were brought to us stager and I am sure NO ONE would appreciate this when eating with family. I cant say it was because of lack of employees, they seem to have more than enough and some just hanging out at the register idle. We were given a 20% discount for the trouble but IDK I feel it was not enough. One thing I will say is 2 out of the 3 plates are reasonably priced, the Huancaina pasta is over priced (23.00) for what I received which was a small plate, it looked similar to the portion size of a entrée side plate. Taste was good on all 3 plates, I will advise that if you don't like condiments IE black pepper, spices etc. it may not be your thing. So when going to this establishment pack your PATIENCE and make sure you have time to burn because it may take a while! read more

Let me just say I've been here before and absolutely was IN LOVE with the food the concept and the ambiance very beautiful restaurant I've enjoyed my stay every time until recently... Everything went well when we walked in we're seated out on the patio not sure if that contributed to the poor service No server greeted us, 15ish minutes passed we're finally greeted not once did the server mention her name or really address us short and to the point so unfriendly im sad to say u felt like I was eating at an Applebees. I asked for my shrimp tostada to be my starter she confirmed to me and repeated "as an appetizer?" food came before the tostada. I've been seeing this place pop up all over Instagram and figured I'd try it out because the food looked so good. I came on a Sunday night and it was packed so I figured that was a good sign, me and my party ended up waiting about 20 mins to get seated so it wasn't that bad. When we sat down (in the patio) it took a little long for the server to get there but he explained the menu pretty well. We ordered two cocktails and one beer and it took about 10 mins. Once he came back with the drinks we ordered and that was the longest wait time ever for the food. It took 30 mins for the food to come out. To me that's crazy especially since we ordered the pasta and a dish with rice veg and meat. At this point we a little upset because it happened to be my mothers birthday. The server at this point had disappeared for the next half hour and so we asked another to help us because we wanted to order dessert and he was very helpful. Neither server gave us their names but the helpful one had bleached curly hair he was very nice to us even though we were not his table. He brought us out a glass of sparkly champagne for my mothers birthday and we paid shortly after. This place is very expensive, never in my life have I paid not only 20 dollars but over 20 dollars for a pasta with chicken. Overall the food was very very good but it's definitely not worth the price. Service is below average (except for the gentleman that helped us) but it is a very trendy place. read more

A restaurant experience is a combination of good food and service. We got only one of those. It was my husband's birthday. We went on a weekday at 11:30 am. There were only 4 customers there and a full staff of employees. It took about 20 minutes for my husband to get his food. My food never arrived. After about 10 minutes we were able to catch the eye of a waitress and ask if my food was coming. About 10 minutes later my food arrived but my husband had finished, I asked for my food to go. The food is good. The service was non-existent. No one refilled water glasses. No one took responsibility for my lost order. There was a half-hearted apology. That's all. If you want to try the food I suggest you get it to go and enjoy it in an atmosphere where everyone can eat at the same time and enjoy it. read more
