.. water taste like a bad tap water. Wouldn't drink any drink that comes from the tap here . Entrance smells like raid . Bug. Spray .. quantity too small. Update . Just got me a torta , coffee and fries . The bill was 13+ I tip as I check my debit card transaction. The waiter decided to change his tip to $6.00 Would not recommend here and if you do . Make sure you check your debit card transaction

Shrimp Poblano Enchiladas so yum

I don't live in the Northeast, but when I am in the Northeast, I have found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the northeast!! We asked the waiter what type of enchiladas he recommended and he said shrimp enchiladas we looked at each other and thought we've never heard of such a concoction, but OMG they were so good. The tortillas are homemade, and the poblano Crema sauce that was on top was so different and yummy and it's like where has this been all my life . I didn't experiment as much as my boyfriend I got the Straight Flautas and they were delicious. I just wish I could've finished them or taking them home so my top recommendation would be sauce on the side if you don't want to eat them all and enjoy them for another day because I would've totally brought them home . The restaurant is in a re-purposed building on Dyer and it's clean and fun! We went at 4 o'clock on a Tuesday and it was pretty busy. I'm really shocked that not more people are doing reviews for this great restaurant. ! Help a small business out and review share the love

meh it was ok.. nothing to brag about. I live in Central Florida and the authentic Mexican restaurants that are here have better flavors than I had there. The customer service is good however. I had Sopes and it was ok.

Great authentic Mexican food did not disappoint always as for more sides and definitely the flan is the best desert they have

My wife heard of this place through a friend so she decided to bring me here for lunch. Appetizer-ceviche was NOT it. They used key limes which have A very bitter taste compared to regular limes and I didn't care for the difference too much. It gave the entire meal an extremely sour/bitter taste. Will not order again. I ordered the carnitas plate which had beans and rice as well. Beans were not very well flavored so I didn't eat them, the rice was just ok. Could have used more seasoning, but the carnitas were pretty good. I mean I'd rather buy from el super, but the carnitas weren't the worst. Not sure If I'd be back. If I did I'd order something different. Oh but do yourself a favor and get the agua de mango OMG

One of my favorite places to eat when I visit El Paso. I highly recommend the chipotle filet. Great customer service. Always consistent.

Menudo is always good. We've had menudo at other restaurants but Tio Juan's is the best.

Pearl Divers Oyster Bar

Pearl Divers Oyster Bar

We've been meaning to try this spot since they've been open. Today we made it happen. They open at…read more3pm. We had clam chowder, lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail and oysters. Everything we had was very good. The menu is small ( a good thing). We didn't take pictures of the chowder or the oysters because they were in our bellies before we knew it. The beer was cold, restrooms clean, and staff attentive. We will return for round 2

Had the chance to visit during their soft opening this past weekend with one of my friends who…read moreloves oysters just as much as me, and we both agreed that it is super refreshing to see an establishment like this come to town. Adjacent to the The Tiki Room, Pearl Divers features a rotating list of oysters from different regions at $3 a pop. We had the chance to try all three oysters that they were featuring for the day and we really enjoyed the palette. The oysters featured might've been limited but they had a major punch to them with flavor. My favorite were the ones that were a bit more briny, truly small but mighty. Your oysters are brought out with the traditional crackers, hot sauce, mignonette sauce, horseradish, and lemons. It was nice for them to all folks the chance to order in any quantity as I'm sure a few folks might be trying oysters for the very first time in a landlocked city. The had a finessed menu featuring carpaccio, tartare, and about ten to fifteen dishes encompassing appetizers to main entrees. We had ordered the carpaccio but it never came out (no biggie, again it was soft opening so we came in with an open mind). Since we got there a bit later in the day, they were out of frites and I am a loyal fan of oysters, frites, and bubbles (wine at the minimum). This just means we'll have to be back. What was most important to me though was the service and how friendly the staff was. We opted to sit at the bar (as one should at an Oyster bar) and be as close to the oyster display as possible. I used to live in New Orleans for a few years so sometimes when it's busier and you're chatting away they'll shuck an extra one to you every so often to try. I'm pretty stoked to see the dining scene continuously elevating and Pearl Divers is a nice rendition. I'll be certain to come back and can't wait to see what a five-star experience is out of their soft opening phase. *** If there is one piece of feedback I'd provide is to have smaller spoons for the mignonette and forks for the oysters. The current sizes are a bit too large and can easily ruin the integrity of the oyster when making sure it's been properly separated and not intact, as well as, not being able to have the right ratio of mignonette sauce for each oyster. The spoon was constantly hitting the mouth of the condiment cup.

We loved the key lime pie (e.g., photo of pie from night before at Manhattan Heights) at Manhattan…read moreHeights Bar & Grill so much that we ordered it again to go from their sister restaurant, Thirty5ive Bar & Grill, the next day. It became a special treat for our family while visiting our Tía in home hospice--and one of her last, most joyful bites. Food and our family's recipes are at the heart of who we are, so hearing my Tía Emma call it "magnificent" meant everything. While, we didn't dine in, we noted the atmosphere struck the right balance of upscale bar and grill on our two visits. Please note, this place get packed on weekend nights. Expectations and reality were nothing alike. As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.
