Prior to going to their place I had gone to a large carpet warehouse up north while visiting my son and daughter-in-love. Their prices were higher and while huge they had nothing I wanted. Taylor and Wendy's place was tiny by comparison, but they had almost everything I was looking for. Not only did I come away with area rugs for three bedrooms, the kitchen table, stair treads for my staircase, Taylor had a piece of in and outdoor carpet cut for my front entrance that fit perfectly! When the rugs were delivered, I found he had bound a runner from what was left of the carpet used for the circle rug under my kitchen table that gave me carpet in my hallway -- so nice! He also sent a remnant roll from what was left after cutting the front door mat. It was a pleasure doing business with them, and I will be back for more of my carpet needs.

His first response was, "Is that the back side?" Now, if you know jute rugs, BOTH SIDES LOOK ALMOST THE SAME. I started laughing and said, "Don't you tell me I've had this rug upside down for a year." HAHAHA He asked me to send a picture of the other side. I did, and his response was basically: "Just flip the rug over." I asked him how on earth he could tell from a photo, and he explained that he could tell by the way the rug was bound and that the correct side should also be slightly darker. There is absolutely no way an untrained eye would have noticed that. So not only did Ishmael save my rug, he saved me the cost of having it cleaned and informed me that apparently I've been living with my rug upside down for the last YEAR. HAHAHAHAHA If that doesn't tell you this man knows rugs, I don't know what does. He could have easily scheduled a service and charged me, but instead he was honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and solved my problem over the phone. Five stars for Ishmael. When I delivered the rug all they would talk about was cleaning the rug for the price quoted. They were going to have someone else pick up my rug and give me a quote. Catalina does not actually do repairs at all. Swell, wasted my time. I'll google a binding shop instead.

Her husband then stepped in and denied to take in the rug and immediately rolled it up. Since cleaning was not an option we thought about buying another rug. Rose's Husband immediately said no and asked us to leave. He got behind us and started desperately pointing toward the door. We didn't get a chance to see or get help from them. Customer, please do not visit this location. They seemed to not like us as customers and acted very discriminatory towards us. After we got out of the establishment I told Rose how we felt and she laughed it off saying her husband is just busy with their son's wedding. I'm sorry. Because you're busy is not a reasonable excuse to treat a customer so poorly. Please don't visit this establishment there is a better establishment I can recommend in Montrose. As a business they should strive to treat customers better and improve communication skills with customers.
