Just gonna say that place is a gem. Over the past few years I have acquired a great selection of rugs, pillows and decore. Norel and Minora are so welcoming and cater to all my needs. I have decorated my house my business and my parents house now with items from the shop. You will not be disappointed in your selections. The collection of rugs and item is absolutely stunning. I always stop by to see what new items they have acquired. ALSO they do rug cleaning and rentals for events.

Rugs are difficult to value based on many factors, somewhat like diamonds. In my case, I was quoted a price for repair (binding) a rug in an email. The mail was not written in standard English. When I delivered the rug all they would talk about was cleaning the rug for the price quoted. They were going to have someone else pick up my rug and give me a quote. Catalina does not actually do repairs at all. Swell, wasted my time. I'll google a binding shop instead.

HORRIBLE WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS…read more We called Rose and asked her to come in and drop off a rug we wanted to get cleaned. Her husband then stepped in and denied to take in the rug and immediately rolled it up. Since cleaning was not an option we thought about buying another rug. Rose's Husband immediately said no and asked us to leave. He got behind us and started desperately pointing toward the door. We didn't get a chance to see or get help from them. Customer, please do not visit this location. They seemed to not like us as customers and acted very discriminatory towards us. After we got out of the establishment I told Rose how we felt and she laughed it off saying her husband is just busy with their son's wedding. I'm sorry. Because you're busy is not a reasonable excuse to treat a customer so poorly. Please don't visit this establishment there is a better establishment I can recommend in Montrose. As a business they should strive to treat customers better and improve communication skills with customers.

[Review #821] 2024-020…read more HomeGoods is home decor store that's a part of TJX Companies, which includes TJ Maxx & Marshalls among others. Their inventory of "home goods" is larger, better, & competitively priced in comparison to its sister companies, whereas its sisters are better for discounted name brand clothing & footwear. While HG also stocks snacks, treats, coffees & teas, etc., I felt they were priced slightly higher than Marshalls. Over the years, I alternated between this location at Torrance Crossroads & the one in Torrance Promenade on Hawthorne Blvd. for great deals on bedding, blankets, cookware & kitchenware, etc. In this latest trip, I was hoping to replace my black-colored kitchen utensils (may contain toxic flame retardants, probably due to contamination during recycling) with silicon ones. The kitchenware section was a tad cluttered & messy, & I didn't find any sets that I like for the replacement. However, I did find some cute & interesting items for Christmas gifts like the Hello Kitty glassware, & a jar of chili peach jelly. What was a surprising discovery at this location is their pet supplies! While there's more dog-related inventory, the cat tree, kitty house, & food bowls were pretty cute. We may be adopting in the near future, & will definitely return for our furbaby's supplies. If you're looking for an alternative to expensive retail home décor & furnishings, stop by HomeGoods for competitively priced "home goods" for your home.

They are so pushy that we can't even shop in peace. Even when we do have a question, they aren't knowledgeable enough to answer them...?? If you have a return, the staff will give you attitude about it...even if it was their fault in the first place. We came here looking for the Barazza ESP Encore and specifically stated we wanted the ESP version. There were two ladies we asked and they both could NOT figure it out. It was like the blind leading the blind. They were slow AND incapable. I saw that there was NO "ESP" on the package and said "no this isn't it. It states it's the regular Barazza Encore" and they just wouldn't believe me, insisted on checking the barcode numbers which they were incredibly slow at. Not to mention, it was indeed the incorrect product like I stated. Then they went to check in the back and said "good news we have the ESP!" Well we were also buying an espresso machine and did not realize they had brought us the regular Barazza encore (the WRONG ONE AGAIN!!) until we got home. We had to make another trip back just to return it due to their mistake and the sales associate had such a nasty attitude - asking us all manners of questions in a condescending tone and insinuating we used it when we literally bought the machine an hour ago. There was one Asian guy who was polite and attentive but gave us the space we needed without the constant obvious pressure of trying to push a sale. Whatever the incentive to sell or discourage returns is, please stop. Because I don't even want to set foot into this store due to the 5 out of 5 visits being negative experiences.
