My husband and I chose to leave and get a new dentist because not only were we lied to about the cost of visits. As another review stated. They told us a procedure was going to be one price And then directly after it was done , the price was much more at the counter, My poor husband was in agony after his mouth was jacked up during said procedure and then came in for a second appointment to finish his procedure. They put a "In training" person. Who did yet another hack job on my husband's mouth and he was in so much pain. We almost ended up in urgent care. What a mess. So we decided at that point we were going to leave and they refused to send my records and x-rays to our new dentist. Which is crazy since we paid for them, but whatever, walking away. The hygienist I had was always very nice and the dentist was very patient. I have a lot of anxiety, but the front end. Has no clue. Cannot handle insurance and doesn't know their rear from their elbow. Stay clear.

We saw Dr Lora 6 months ago for a cleaning. Our bill was completely covered. We went back in for a…read morethis year's second cleaning that has also alway been covered. I received a bill from her for almost $400 for my two kids. In the last six months, she stopped taking my insurance. AOMS is still listed as accepting blue cross of Texas. We were not notified she was no longer in network. There is nothing special about her. Apparently another doctor is in network there. We could have seen him if the clinic was honest and upfront. I would have never brought my kids back if we had been informed she stopped accepting our insurance. I feel scammed.

We went to AOMS this morning for our child's 6-month cleaning and were unaware that Dr. Charles had…read moremoved to a new location. The reminder phone call we received did not mention anything about the office change, so we understandably went to the old location. Unfortunately, the experience with the front desk staff there was extremely disappointing. The ladies at reception were rude and unprofessional, spoke down to my husband, and essentially scolded him for going to the old office, despite us never being informed of the move. Sadly, this behavior was consistent with every visit we had at the old location, the front desk staff were unpleasant every single time. That said, we absolutely love Dr. Charles and give her a 6-star rating. We are very grateful that she is now in a new building with different staff, who have been amazing. Dr. Charles deserves much better representation than what we experienced.
