Ok been here twice more now. Still excellent food, still excellent service. The word has definitely gotten out because it's been packed both times. I do have one issue since my last visit however... the noise. We were seated in a booth that had a table to the side of us that had 2 kids screaming and running around like they lived there, and another party seated behind us with a very high pitched screaming toddler. It was so loud I couldn't hear our server and had to have him repeat himself numerous times. Major damper on such a beautiful restaurant that should have been more enjoyable and peaceful for our celebration. That isn't their fault of course and I don't know what they could do to fix that issue. Either we try to go earlier in the day and during the week or we just don't come back for a while to see if the hype calms a bit. read more

If I could give this experience a 10, I would!! Walking in the door was greated by a very warm and friendly hostess. The atmosphere was instantly warm and welcoming. Sat in the bar area and had the best service. Waitress was very attentive and so calm. She suggested a blueberry margarita and let me just say I had to try it! They asked about celebrating anything and if we had been in before. They all made you feel like family. The manager came over and also welcomed us in. Even to bagging up our food. Its the little things that make an entire experience memorable. The drive here was over an hour but I will be very intentional about coming back amd recommending this restaurant. It isnt often that restaurants can nail 100% service, quality of food and atmosphere and this has been accomplished here The food was amazing and I cant wait to get back and try more items off the menu!! Wowowow. My friend and I came in around 1pm on May 1 on the tail end of a very long drive in a Uhaul. We were exhausted and delirious, and after lots of fast food and mediocre diners, we were not expecting such a lovely meal. We were totally blown away by the food and the service! Our server could not have been more sweet and welcoming. The other reviews aren't lying about the ricotta donuts. SO good. The spot is so cute inside and out (even the bathroom was *so* nice?!), and it was such a lovely break between an incredibly long and stressful bout of driving. We moved to Seattle that day and have still not had a meal as good as that lunch at Amaro's. read more

Made a togo order for salads tonight. Had the house salad with chicken, and a wedge salad. The salads were not expensive as salads go at todays prices, but the amount of chicken breast for the extra $7.00 I paid for it way out of line, maybe 1/4 of a chicken breast. Seasonal berries were 1/2 strawberry in each corner so a wapping 2 small berries, the blue cheese was minimal and the candied walnuts were non-existent. They delivered a happy anniversary card to our table and comped us a delicious desert for our anniversary. We also ordered their creme brûlée to split as well, and it was amazing. Was not impressed, my family was there to celebrate a birthday. It was so hot at least 85 degrees inside the restaurant itself. The waitress was very sweet although she spilled hot honey butter all over my son in law and ruined his clothing. Did not offer any sort of discount. Everyone from the hostess to the waitress were super friendly and welcoming. It's actually quite nice inside for a small town restaurant, with pretty chandeliers, could be a special date night. Appetizers were great, calamari and Brussels sprouts. Everyone enjoyed their entrees from the salmon, to steak sandwich, pasta bolognese, and veggie burger. The vegetarian selection is pretty limited but they will work with you to find something that fits food restrictions. They gave us complimentary ricotta doughnuts for dessert, which were amazing. Everything was amazing here! Me and my husband went for our anniversary. They started our meal by bringing us a hand written letter thanking us for sharing our special day with them and ended with two free desserts. We started with the pretzel and fondue, it was amazing. Well this was a surprise. We ran across Amaros Table while wandering through Castle Rock. Checked our Yelp, and made reservations a couple of weeks later on a Friday. We were promptly greeted, seated and given menus. Waited a few minutes and our wait person popped by for drink orders. Nice to see a decent wine list and some good n/a options in cocktail. Drinks arrived a little slowly, with appetizers. We ordered the fig and ricotta crossing and corn fritters. Fritters pretty tasty, fig and ricotta just delicious. Yummo. For the main, we ordered the fried chicken and the chicken marsala. OMG, both were outstanding. They both had mashed potatoes, which were actual mashed potatoes. The Marsala had sautéed squash with onions. Marsala was perfect. A great blend of mushrooms, correct seasoning and well-cooked chicken. I could eat it every week. Hubby's fried chicken crunchy and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, without being obnoxious. Glasses kept full, plates cleared quickly. This place is well worth the money, and more visits. One thing about living in this part of the state is a general lack of great spots to eat. Amaros fill in a gap quite nicely. Service is really attentive and quick. Got the corn fritters aka hush puppies, chicken sandwich with wagyu chips with honey butter and ricotta donuts. Corn fritters were good with pieces of canned corn inside. Brioche chicken sandwich with caramel sauce was also executed well. Only complaint is that the wagyu potato chips didn't have any honey butter so I had to use the honey butter dip from the corn fritters. Ricotta donuts were light and dense with a side of caramel sauce to dip in. It isn't the thick sauce but very thin. Amaro even wrote a birthday card for me and gave me the donuts on the house! My wife and I visited Amaro's Table the other night and we couldn't have been happier that we did. The restaurant inside was warm and friendly and the staff was absolutely amazing and made our meal such an enjoyable experience. I had to try the fried chicken and it was definitely worth the hype... breaded and seasoned wonderfully, and the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese sides were delish! My wife had the New York with the chimichurri and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare, not to mention it tasted amazing as well. Our server was also very helpful in assisting my wife pair her New York with a nice spicy red wine. For dessert we shared a piece of key lime pie which was positively mouth watering, but also since it was our first visit they treated us to their ricotta donuts and those were just the perfect bite sized flavor explosions. Will definitely be going back because the menu had lots of other good sounding dishes, and from where we were sitting, we saw a lot of really good looking plates coming out of the kitchen. read more
