Love this place! Great food, great service! Great 2 for $20/$40 menu specials. This little diner is our quick go to place!

Who would even think a rinky dink truck stop, situated in a Chevron station would have such tasty food? Well...I would! Swung into the Indy Way on my way home from Portland cause I had another 1.5 hours to my trip and I was hungry and needed a bathroom. The place was pretty empty, so I had the pick of seating. The restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were clean and the convenience store was clean. So nice. The waitress was very friendly, to the point that I almost wanted to tell her to simmer down. But, I was tired and just decided to enjoy the friendly banter of someone who was on her feet all day. And, I did end up appreciating her zippy personality. Some folks just aren't friendly anymore, so it's nice to encounter someone who doesn't scrimp on smiles and kind words. The menu is substantial. Lots to choose from so I ended up with Chicken Club Sandwich, with a side of tater tots. They were out of avocado, but offered to substitute with guacamole, which was fine with me. Service was quick, food was hot and tasty. Nice, crispy chicken breast and the tots were crunchy just how I like them. I had to take half home, which made my husband very happy. Don't hesitate to make a pit stop into the Indy Way. The food and service is excellent, and the waitress will be very generous with her smiles.

Half of a chicken fried steak order. Still a lot of food.

Solid diner, nothing fancy but food was great. Liked that i had the option for chicken breast on my sandwich. Service was great. Our server was very attentive. Would return if I'm in the neighborhood again.

This is one of our local favorites for breakfast. We moved to Longview almost three years ago and started looking for a good place to eat breakfast regularly and this is it! The service is outstanding, the food is very good, it's clean and the menu has a great variety of choices. Breakfast is served all day!

Very friendly service and amazing food. The best French fries in Longview. We eat here frequently and have never had anything bad. Indy Way hash is one of my favorites or any of the breakfast options. Chicken fried steak, chili, salads, fish, and cheeseburgers. Everything is delicious!!

    The long haul

Amazing quality food, I normally don't enjoy burgers but decided to try it out this time and was pleasantly surprised. Also good service

The service was fast, efficient, and personable. All the staff seemed friendly and worked together like a well oiled team. The food was amazing! I had the chicken salad sandwich (see pic) and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and yummy the sourdough bread was for my sandwich. I asked our server "Angie" and she said they baked it fresh every morning! The decor was just as the name "Country Folks Deli" described. Painted walls, Cow statues, and decorated like a good ol' fashioned country deli. Yup! Another great place to add to our list of favorites

The staff seemed to be spread VERY thin. We were told to sit where ever we wanted, then it took a full ten minutes for a server to come to the table. Then another one came right after that and asked us the same questions. They would benefit from having a host and assigned sections. The food was really good. Some items more than others. The French dip sandwich was so good, homemade bread was amazing. The au jus for it was so salty I thought I was gonna OD on sodium. Same thing with the chicken noodle soup. The fries and wings were delicious. Prices are a bit steep. $10 for a half a small sandwich.

Cook James is always on point. Every plate comes out hot, flavorful, and done right. You can tell there's pride behind the grill. The waitresses, Cheyenne, Ashley, Kasey, Donna, and Linda, are a big part of why we keep coming back. They're friendly, fun to chat with, and make you feel genuinely welcome every single visit. We're regulars for breakfast, and the Early Bird special can't be beat. $5.99 ($8.99 with the $3 off) plus free coffee between 8-9am. That's a win any day of the week. You'll most likely see us there during that time because, well... it's our routine. The place itself is nicely decorated with a sporty vibe mixed with an old-style garage feel. When we walked in this evening, Triangle was packed! They had football games playing on multiple screens, and as usual, the crowd was lively and in (mostly) good spirits - depending upon how their team was doing. We ordered the mac & cheese bites, and I'm going to suggest that you *never, ever order them - *Especially if you are on a diet - they are stupid good, and hard to resist! Mr. wonderful ordered the Sourdough Patty Melt with tots and of course - left nothing on his plate. I had the BLT. Only complaint - fries could've been crispier. Everything else = perfect. I spoke with Linda who was our server this evening (she was fabulous even with the crowd and chaos) and she confirmed that I can order *crispy fries, so - I'm thrilled! We have and will continue to recommend Triangle Tavern.
