He was a rescue from a hoarding situation and apparently had never been trained to do anything, but when SMS sent the first video to my phone all we could say was, "Is that our dog!?" The trainer was absolutely excellent, going through everything step-by-step, and answering all of our questions. The facility itself is awesome with huge training rooms that are clean and odor free. We've gone through 3 training sessions and will have one of the trainers out to the house after we've spent a week or so doing home training.

Both dogs are beautiful, incredibly healthy, and have been amazing additions to our family. And I really can't say enough good things about Famn Damily. I've been there twice now. With my family. In both cases we drove 240 miles to get there, just because we realized what a special place it is, and because we knew we didn't want to get our puppies from any place else. You set foot on the farm, and you see dogs that are truly living their best lives. They have so much space to run and play, they are so well cared for, and so loved, and so clearly happy!! And healthy. And the facilities that have been constructed for the dogs, that clearly took a great deal of time, money and effort to build, are very impressive. Melodie Hammond runs the farm. And she's amazing. I know that my future dogs will be golden retrievers, simply because I know I only want to get puppies from Melodie, from Famn Damily, and Golden retrievers are what she breeds. I was personally attacked by the Vet. today. She doesn't know anything about me. I felt she was…read moremaking assumptions about me at the get go. My dog had a deep cough a month ago. I called and was told that I would have to wait a month. Well, today (a month later), he no longer has the cough. The Vet walked in with a straight face, no smile. She then proceeded to tell me that my dog is overweight. My dog weighs 21 lbs. and should be around 15 lbs. Well, she went on and on about "It's on you." It's your fault he is like this. She said it at least 7 times and stared at me like a teacher mad at you. She made a condescending remark that she will make a note in his chart that I don't care. I got mad and said, "Stop being a smart ass. "Well, she threw a temper tantrum and said ..Don't swear at me. And in a huff, She walked out slamming the door. Just like a child. Where do they get these people ???? Will never go back. I should of been angry having to wait a month. But, I'm a grown up. I swear, stay away from this place. They don't put animals first. No one should have to wait to see a Dr. a month and then be treated like that. I have 4 dogs and they are like my children. I would run into a burning building for them with no hesitation.
