Apparently I had…read morereceived defective carpet, so it would pull out easily and also the carpet had a pattern stain that you could clearly see once vacuumed. It also had several gaps where the seams met. The installers assured me this was normal and that the seams would fade. I was shocked considering the price we paid for the carpet. Also, I asked a few experts in the area and they also agreed this was not correct at all. Well two weeks later and it honestly looked worse. So I called them back. They "fixed" the seams they said and left. I didn't have a chance to look before they left as I was on a work call. I checked shortly after and same deal. I ended up calling my project manager at Sunn and she came right out to check. Well lo and behold, she immediately could tell something was wrong even though the installers assured me twice that everything was ship shape. She had me send over a piece of the carpet to get tested by the vendor. That ended up being about a one month waiting period. The vendor got back to me and agreed that the carpet was defective and offered a full replacement at zero charge. They were extremely compassionate and empathetic, so it made me feel much better since the installers made me feel like I was going nuts. So we got the second install done on the carpet and it is MUCH better. There are still issues at a couple seams, so I am not 100% thrilled. But it did take care of the major issues we had. To be honest, I was pretty surprised the whole time that the GM or owner of Sunn carpet didn't follow up on this at all. The only thing that saved them from a one star review was their project manager to be honest. So I am so appreciative of her help in all of this. But I do think that better quality control would help this company a lot. Also, a follow-up after install to ensure customer satisfaction should be standard. But it is what it is. I would be a bit hesitant to use them for my next fooring project given the circumstances. But at least it wasn't left in the state of the first install.
