The instructor was very fun and really willing to help out and inspire. 5 stars. The second workshop i took, just this Sunday, was not great at all. It was a mosaic class and it might as well have been self led. The instructor gave us a brief 3-5 min tutorial on how to place the tiles and then did nothing else except sorted tiles the whole time. She never came around to see how we were doing or if we needed help. We had to keep asking her to come over if we had a question and she didn't really offer too much. She never told us what color we could use, and kept coming over and collecting the extra tiles as we were working. She didn't help us finish up and left before we were done. It was super disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised by how active the animals were. I've been to other zoos where the animals are sleeping or hiding, but we got to see a lot of movement and interactions during our visit. My only complaint is the cafe food- it was honestly some of the saddest zoo food I've had. Definitely eat before you come or pack snacks if you can. Overall, it's a great place to spend a few hours with little ones, and we'll definitely be back.
