My baby was left in their care and I truly believed they cared about my pup. But, my baby was bit by another dog which understandingly happens but apparently was not being monitored or noticed even though I paid for a bath afterwards which should have been noticed if the service was provided? When I noticed a puncture on the back of his head , was mortified to find out it was a dog bite and was already 2 days since he had been around any other dogs at Hound Town . After taking him into the vet where a bite from another dog was documented and confirmed, I called to inform them. But no answer or response was given when a request for a call back was made. I then went back to Hounds town and spoke to one of the young ladies at the front where she replied with " I'll relay this to the manager/owner and they should get back to you ". It took 2 days and another call to the same young lady , now emphasizing how upset and invaluable I was as a long time customer or even a very concerned pet parent. I notified her that he was rushed to emergency surgery and was distraught that no one either saw anything that was caring for my pet and proceeded to even bathe him and still no detection was made ? Or they did see the even but instead did not say anything? After contacting them again, I then got an email ..... no call or physical message that any human with any emotion would do if this occurred under their watch to acknowledge any concerns or ensure that this had some priority. Nothing but an email saying they know that Brody is a "mellow animal and plays well with others, and witnessed the surveillance of a possible interaction with another dog. But ultimately due to the fact that it was 2 days later can't say it happened there !" The fact that I take my pet to a business where they have no problem with our dogs getting bit while in their care and then not even offer to ask what assistance could be made is just horrible business ethics and shameful! I am out $2000 in surgical fees and more to attend to the neglect that was made but they have no idea how to even call a person back ? Shame on you Hounds Town! It was very busy but we got called to the back in a timely matter. Dr. Schneider was very thorough with my dog, Gus. She had his records from our previous vet. She did not push for extra things, simply suggested what we needed to get done for Gus and his alopecia. We appreciate the care we received. Dr. Schneider even followed up with a phone call to recommend a certain medication for Gus. I would recommend this Animal Hospital for routine care. They are affordable and clean. I was nervous at first but the Vet Assistant or Tech who was taking care of my baby today cleared every bit of doubt or judgment I had. I wish I remembered her name, but she was the young girl with the red colored hair, and she was just so comforting and reassuring when I told her my worries. The appointment was very quick and efficient, but unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because of the Doctor that his appointment was under. (I believe the Doctors name was 'Nider'??) The girl who was with the Doctor was amazing though, and she communicated every step with me to a T. But, when the Doctor came back to talk with me, she was extremely patronizing and condescending towards the girl. The funny thing is.. is that she already told me just about everything the Doctor told me before she came in to which she only discussed her physical exam with me-- which everything was normal. If the Doctor has the nerve to treat her Assistants or Techs like that in front of clients, I can't even imagine how she treats them outside of the room. She really tried to make it seem like she didn't know what she was talking about, and I felt frustrated for her. All parts aside, the treatment was overall effective and Blue Diamond will most definitely be my baby's new clinic! please give my warm regard and gratitude to the wonderful girl

We were greeted by a very nice lady who lead us to the "luxury suite"; we were surprised by the warm facility which smelled of urine. The cat suite was spacious for a cat and enclosed with a full glass door; the toys and flooring in the room were zip tied together and frayed, the bedding and towers were covered in fur and dried food. I expect some wear and tear, it's not realistic to provide new toys and bedding for every cat but I do expect basic maintenance and cleanliness! Our biggest disappointment was location of the cat room , advertised as a calm space was directly next to the dogs; everything could be heard in the cat room, no sound proofing at all! This advertising for the suite was misleading and I never would've booked if I read honest reviews. I also need to recognize some positives, the response for scheduling was quick. once I reached out requesting updates, photos were sent the same day or next day with a follow up text . Great location if you're heading to/from the airport or staying on the strip. Upon pick up my kitten smelled of urine; we bathed him twice and had to discard many of his toys. Tip- schedule a tour of any facility, don't rely solely on reviews or conversations with the facility.

I'm a bit iffy on this place. Why? So I have been to a few of the daycares around town. There's a…read moreparticular style of daycare that I don't find to be very stimulating for dogs and this place kind of fits that format. While it is convenient for me, when I watch the cameras, it looks like the dogs are just wandering around like zombies. Usually other daycares have more interaction with staff. There's maybe one staff member to like 15 or 20 dogs. The other thing is I'm not entirely sure they actually understand dog behavior. Because a lot of the dogs are restless and have zero structure, they don't have great socializing manners. My dog is an intelligent breed who will correct dogs who are rude or in his face and it gets tiring for him if he's doing that more than the staff. So when they told me that they had put him away because he was air nipping at dogs, that was strange. I've never had a report of him having behavior issues. Now if they had told me he seemed tired and needed to be to decompressed, that's fine. Maybe it was the staff's wording. And why she needed to report it to me I don't know because that's just a normal part of daycare and dog behavior. So after reading the reviews I did see instances in which dogs that are being aggressive to begin with or annoying aren't being corrected and then when the dog goes to correct them, which is dog etiquette, the dog who asserts boundaries to protect themselves gets punished? That to me shows a lack of understanding about dog behavior. I've watched the webcams at other daycares, and staff know how to separate dogs or to keep things from escalating and know when it's appropriate to put a dog away in a crate for a little time without making the dog feel bad or without making the owner think there's some big issue. I'm trying to gauge whether he actually likes going here. He comes home tired but not looking happy. And whenever we go there in the morning, he tends to whine, which he doesn't do at the other locations we've been. So this one will probably start getting rotated out of his daycare choices for the week. But on the positive side, I do like that they have a little events for the dogs or special treats and get your permission. I just don't feel very confident that it's anything more than just like a room full of dogs all walking around in circles. Like at least interact with them a little bit? Maybe add another counselor or two per group? Make me feel like everybody is taking classes about dog behavior and understand different dog breeds and how dogs are meant to interact? Also the webcam never seems to work very well. I'll watch on the phone or don't even try to watch on the laptop and it goes in and out but at least they have a webcam because barx parx doesn't. And there may be people and dogs who love this place or love the locations in other parts of Las Vegas but for intelligent breeds, I just don't think this place is very stimulating or matches well with his needs. Maybe this is just what happens when you take a bunch of dogs regardless of personality and throw them in together. Dogs have different play styles and some dogs are annoying to other dogs. But here, it just feels like a major free-for-all. The staff are mostly friendly, but maybe also communicating different things to the dog owners in a different way would have probably avoided me feeling less confident about this place because now I'm worried about who my dog is with during the day. If you don't know dogs, that's kind of concerning.... And I'm not seeing anything in my experience or my dog's reactions or through the webcam that makes me feel confident... And with that many dogs per one counselor, I can see where it would be easy for a dog to get hurt.
