Do not be fooled by their fancy decor and their fake reviews. The eyelashes and eyelash glue they use is very cheap. When i showed up, the girls were all confused as to who spoke to me and said i could come in. I left, and schedule an appointment for the next week at 5:30. First time here - brought my underage daughter to get her lashes done. I was advised I have to sit in lobby while service is completed. I've shared observations below: 1. they do not share their WiFi password so if you're a parent/legal guardian sitting in the lobby as required by their policy, don't rely on their WiFi. I have a hot spot but it just so happened it wasn't working at the time and it would've been really great to handle business while sitting here. 2. The front desk/waiting area is small, which means a customer with normal hearing can hear everything the employees at the front desk are saying. What did that mean? I got to hear about customers like *Felicia* that cancelled her membership and is now trying to get the cheaper price. Once the call was disconnected I got to hear all about how the employees felt about *Felicia* calling. There is music playing the entire time so sadly the policy mentioned above isn't very friendly to every-day conversation that sometimes employees have to let off steam and that should happen when there is no customers present. 3. I went to go get lashes. The people were nice but most of the lashes came out on the first day. I had a allergic reaction. My face and eyes swelled up. I had expressed to the stylist doing the lashes that I was worried about having a allergic reaction. She assured me that I would be fine. I found out afterwards that could have done a patch test. I was not told about it. They removed the lashes but when I asked for a refund they denied me. And just for giggles, I called up Lincoln Heights location just to see if I could get in. No problems. I NEVER received a call back from the manager. I have been to this place three times so far and three times the charm. I would recommend Megan she is really good. She takes her time and was pretty gentle and did a great job with my lashes. I am considering joining because I really like the way they look and feel just as anything new on your face it takes getting used to but overall it was a great experience. I went with the natural lashes. I would recommend getting the eyelash coating. I noticed they last longer when I started using this on my lashes. As far as the price. Overall it's ok. If you're a member it's cheaper and the fills are as well. Something to consider. The third time I visited I wanted it to be done a bit more on the ends and they accommodated with no issues. After 4 months, I had to finally cancel my membership. In comparing pricing with other lash studios - I found plenty of places that were either lower in price (Bree at Roger's Premier Studios) or about the same with better reference like Jenn Popes Lash Studio. At my last prepaid membership appt, I attempted to buy another lash cleaning foam - I was refused my membership discount, because I had already put in my cancelation notice in for my next billing period. EVERY single appt, I would attempt to ask for change for a $20 - every single time - they would never have change & would have to go to a side business to ask for change. I'm not handing them $100 asking for change! Each time I was told, they don't get that much change or the bank is close. UPDATE: Today is Wednesday morning, had my lashes done Sunday evening - the picture below is the overwhelming amount of lash loss I normal experience with each appointment. By the time I would return to my 2nd appt if the month - my loss of product would make my lashes looked bald. Do not give me me the line of - it's common for the natural lashes to drop 2-3 per day, per eye is - look closely, there is only 1 lash with an attached natural lash! Imagine the lashes I have lost that I didn't see to pick up! These lashes came off from either poor quality glue, poor technician training - or - both. I also filed a complaint with BBB. Afterwards, I was curious to see if anyone else has had this issue or filed a complaint with this company and sure enough someone else was dealing with the same thing in July of 2018. Stay away! Their offer to make it right was to reschedule me for 4pm in the afternoon. I work nights and I also have children to tend to after school. Their response was "I am sorry. We can't help you." I went with a girl who I had gone with before but wasn't completely satisfied with job she did first time. Short and sweet review: Some technicians inexperienced and unknowledgeable, products are not customizable. I would prefer to try a different business. I have been wanting lash extensions forever and finally gave it a go with the Amazing Lash Studio at Alamo Ranch and have had a total of 3 visits with them. First was for the initial lash installation, and the second two were for refills. My first impression was that it was a very clean and trendy business. The reception area is very glam and sophisticated-looking and the receptionist girls were all adorable wearing natural makeup flaunting their gorgeous lash extensions. I received the one-time introductory lash offer which I believe was around $70-80. I chose the "natural" look and was surprised when the receptionist asked what level lash "expert" I would want. I assumed all the lash technicians were equally and expertly trainer, but apparently this is not the case. I chose a standard lash expert (the advanced was quite a bit more expensive) and was directed through a door and down a hall way to wash my eyes at a soap station. I didn't like this part much because you are forced to wash your face in a more/less high traffic area and I felt very vulnerable as people walked past and behind me when I had soap in my eyes. I also didn't like that fact that we have use soap and water because it ruins all of your makeup. I would have preferred to be given a makeup-wipe of some sort to properly cleanse the eye area spefically. After this I was half-heartedly greeted by a thin and frail looking young woman who directly me to lie down on the bed under the lamp. Since I have never had lash extensions before I was concerned about the lash adhesive, as I have a tendency to develop skin irritation from abrasive skin products. I asked her some questions but she didn't seem to know the answer to any of my simple questions (aka: have you ever had a client develop skin irritation, what is the adhesive made from). I could tell she was struggling to answer so we started discussing the lash pattern I wanted. I told her I would like to have a combination of "natural" but also a little bit of the wispiness from "flirty". She told me I couldn't have a combination and I had to pick one or the other because they were different "formulas". I conveyed to her that I was under the impression these lash extensions were customizable and she said, "yes, they are, But you have to pick one pattern or another". In my opinion, that is not customizable, those are standard/default patterns! I decided stop the questions and accept whatever I might get in this strange experience. She and I are getting ready to start the lash application and I mention, "wow this room is pretty dark and the lamp is really bright, does it ever hurt your eyes?", She then says in a stark monotone voice, "Sometimes it makes me go blind". OKAY NO. I appreciate her being honest and I think it's horrible it hurts her eyes so much, but I cannot have someone millimeters from my eyes with metal implements and chemicals maybe going temporarily blind. At that moment I told her I changed my mind about getting the lashes done, gathered my things and walked out of the room. I went out to the reception area and told them I wanted to cancel or at the very least reschedule with a different technician. They allowed me to and I was then booked with an advanced lash technician who was AMAZING. She was seriously the most beautiful soul and always did an excellent job on my lashes. The only reason I stopped because I developed pink eye (caught from my coworker, not the lash studio) and all my lash fell out from the antibiotic ointment. Since the introductory offer is a one-time only, it would have costed $150+ for a new set...guess I'm wearing strip lashes until I can save up again. read more

Maddy advised me that Kerry claims to have already reached out to me on multiple occasions and I that I have not responded to any of her calls.. Which was all a lie !!! I have never received any calls from her..while Maddy is continuing her call with Kerry I decided to check my email, and sure enough there was a email sent to me weeks ago asking me to confirm cancellation/suspension , but I was NEVER told by anyone that email confirmation would be sent to me.!! I first came to Amazing lash as to be a model for some eyelash extensions. I was blown away by the results! The process takes 2 hours and it's worth it. My appointment was at 4:30 and I arrived at 4:00 to fill out paper work and I thought I would be kept waiting, but around 4:15 I was already in the back laying down.
