The customer service is absolutely terrible. Since December they have been giving me conflicting info about cancelling my account to only find out they have been still pulling my monthly payment. I've been in contact with the manager and upper management and they have been useless. They try to act like they care about the issue and that they will follow up to you realizing that they have never gotten back to you. I tried to cancel but you have to go in to the original location to cancel and they refuse to email you a cancellation form or allow you cancel at other locations. I love beauty and the product that your stores offer. On Monday May 2nd I had an appointment to have my lashes done. I was so excited to look beautiful for my event. A few hours after i had the lashes applied i began to notice swelling in on my upper and lower eye lids. I started to take an antihistamine to prevent any allergic reaction. By 10pm that night my eyes were so swollen, and weeping. I am most positive that i am highly allergic to the glue that was used. Tuesday morning i returned to the lash studio immediately to have them removed. I called to let the staff know i was on my way, and this was an emergency. Once i arrived the women who were working that day were so cold to me, rude and insisting that i had done something to cause this reaction. In particular a woman named Natalia. She spoke to me as if i were stupid. She would roll her eyes at me while i explained my situation. She then went into the back room where the rest of the staff was and started telling them and laughing at me for this allergic reaction. She then took me to a back room where i laid down and she started to rip the eyelashes off of me. I asked her why is she doing it like that (it was painful) She told me that could not use the lash remover on me bc of the allergic reaction. (ok i understand that but next time before you just start ripping out my eyelashes please explain what you are doing so i understand) I complained about it hurting. She then yelled at me saying that she is the professional her and she is just trying to fix the mistake that i had made. She then threw down the tweezers and stormed out of the room. I was blindsided by the whole thing. This was the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I asked the hostess at the front desk if i could have a refund from the original set. She told me she could not authorize that and she would have to call her manager to see if it was okay. I also cancelled my membership that day. In the end after i had my lashes removed I went to the ER where i was given two shots, and a prescription of steroids to take down the immflamuation. I was never asked at the studio if i have sensitive skin or allergic to anything. I just wish this had turned out differently and that the staff as not as rude and heartless as they were. I wont be returning anytime soon and I will NOT recommend this to any of my friends. It was a total loss of money and one of the most painful experiences i have had. This place is horrible. The lash extensions themselves are terrible quality and don't look natural. I've been there twice. The first set I got looked horrible, the stylist did not put the lashes on to where it would look good on my eyes. I ended up looking like Eyzma from Emperors New Groove. They have sizes from like 1-14 and the girl put like a 12 on the inner most part of my tiny eye, it looked horrible. I got them taken off and a new set put on, and the girl who did it the second time rushed through my entire appointment, didn't talk to me at all and was rude. There was no separation of the lashes and I had like a chunk of 5 eyelashes glued together. AND I GOT AN EYE INFECTION! Not only are the stylists bad the people who manage it are terrible. I signed up for the membership and then decided to cancel, they said I had to sign a cancellation form. Which means you have to drive all the way down there just to cancel, which is dumb. I signed the paper and they told me that everything on my account was cancelled and that I wouldn't be charged. I feel pretty bad writing this review but i feel as if it is necessary to let readers know whats up before they spend their hard earned money here. I was told to pick the eyelash style I wanted. Once I met with the stylist, i asked for FULL/double lashes with a natural length... I left with patchy non-full lashes. I ask the technician/stylist politely if she could add fullness like I requested prior to the actual session, she then began to argue with me and told me that's as full as they will be because I only had a certain amount of natural lashes. I got uncomfortable and dropped it. (double lashes are 3 thin lash in on natural lash opening) Which is completely false, that's the beauty of eyelash extensions... you pay to have beautiful full lashes because you don't have full lashes naturally. I left the stylist a 20% tip at check out,Even though I was very dissatisfied...because that was the right thing to do. I walked half way to my car, then decided I should be fully satisfied for the amount of money I spent. I walked back into the store front to talk to the women at the front desk about what my options were. She was very frustrated and rude with me, after begging her to help me out she finally agreed that I was correct. She said I would have to come back in, remove all my lashes and add new ones. Removing all these extensions and replacing them all in two days is very scary. I have very full/long natural lashes, I wanted extensions so I wouldn't have to spend so much time putting mascara on.I'm worried I will damage my natural lashes putting so much stress on them. I felt like a huge burden, I don't feel like I was treated like a paying customer AT ALL. I guess the Amazing Lash Studio was having a bad day. There was two other women who were very dissatisfied as well, one women was on the verge of crying. I went to this place to get my eyelashes done because I had heard many great things..DON'T! I paid $80 for a set that didn't even last me a week done by Becky. When I called to tell them of this, they told me I could come in for a correction free of charge but never gave me a time. When I called back to ask for a time they said they couldn't do it for free, that I would have to pay $60 for a 30 minute correction! So within a week they wanted me to overall pay $140, all because they didn't do it right the first time. They were very rude over the whole situation & would not let me speak to a manager. Geneva did an excellent job with my lashes and was very professional. I'm super pleased with her work. The reason I am upset is because I was lied to about pricing over the phone. I called to make an appointment and the person on the phone said it would be $10 extra because the only person available was a "master stylist", I was okay with that and confirmed that my total would go from $85 to $95. Later, when I was paying after my appointment they told me the extra fee for a "master stylist" was $30 instead of $10. I let them know multiple times that I only agreed to pay $10 but they made me pay three times more than I agreed to. I did not want Geneva to get payed less, because she did a great job, but this misunderstanding was not my fault and I should not have had to pay for someone not doing their job correctly. I have been coming here over a year and have always had excellent service and fabulous results. My favorite girls to book w/atm are Kailey, Jenny, and Jennifer. They listen to my wishes and follow my instructions to a T, and I am very very picky :) I don't choose one specific "style" of the 4 from which you can choose. Over time I have, with the help of the stylist, come up with what thickness and lengths work best on my eyes and existing lashes. I have had a couple of times with different "lashticians" where my lashes fell off within a short amount of time (like 3-4 days) and a quick phone call to the studio got me a free correction appointment the same or next day. There was also a time or two when one or both of my eyes got really red for a day or I had a broken blood vessel. I have noticed that it is usually from dryness or the glue (or both) during the extension procedure. So, Nowadays I just make sure to speak up during the procedure if I feel like the eye pad is not positioned right or if the glue is getting in my eye, etc. But again, I usually don't have an issue. I have NEVER had an eye infection or anything like that after getting my lashes done. I am an RN and a germaphobe and must say that the studio/stylist areas are always clean and the stylists always sanitize their hands and usually put on a mask before touching my face- this is SO important to me and helps avoid infection! overall, all of the staff are very nice- the manager is great, the girls that work the desk are friendly and professional, and they have the best prices around! - Addicted to lashes and beautiful eyes without having to wear makeup to work every day! read more

From my research, Amazing Lash Studio is very affordable. My experience was seamless and I absolutely LOVED the result. Haven't had to put on mascara since and didn't notice any falling out for at least 3 weeks. I've been gentle with them, but don't really notice them there sensation/comfort wise. My boyfriend noticed and I've received numerous compliments from friends and strangers. Will most likely join the membership to get my monthly fill. read more

I suffered through varying degrees of lackluster service and quality at three different Amazing Lash locations before determining West 7th the best of the locations in the Fort Worth area. Also slogged through several stylists of varying degrees of competence before I discovered Mandy, whose technique & customer service skills could land her a franchise of her own, were she so inclined. So while I don't make a habit of responding to negative reviews for any vendor (vendor management is my job), I do feel compelled to defend some of the charges alleged by recent reviewers since this became my salon of choice after a good bit of due diligence and a responsible learning curve. There are two prevailing themes to the negative reviews here and they both speak to an inability to take ownership for responsibilities in the client/provider relationship. The Ten Minute policy is observed by all of the Amazing Lash studios I've patronized - policies such as this are required in all high volume businesses and theirs is more forgiving than that observed in my Fortune 500 environment, where if you aren't present for a meeting or conference call within the first five minutes, your eligibility for participation is cancelled. Most of the reviews alleging poor quality services bear the hallmarks of communication styles overly-invested in being right versus resolving differences and getting the services needed. Americans are peculiarly idiosyncratic about perpetuating a power dynamic entitling them to subordinate anyone in the service industry, and that mindset leads to very ineffectual communication. I've never once experienced personnel in this location neglecting my concerns, but then I've also never spoken to any of them as if they were "the Help." I've taken the time to learn about the processes, to observe my culpability in their success or failure, and nurture the relationships with those (such as Mandy) who've provided exemplary levels of service, so my experiences have been good. read more

AWFUL!!!! I would rate zero stars if possible. The actual product isn't bad. They're basic lash extensions. The music being played throughout the studio is horrendous (bring your earphones and plug in your iPod). Beds aren't that comfortable. Your back will hurt by the end. And the customer service and employees?? Rude. Just rude. Don't waste your time!!!! There's another lash location down the street that will be getting my business instead. If you have any special instructions between visits- they don't keep a weekly record. My VERY sensitive skin requires special glue, but regular glue was used on my 2nd visit. My eyes were itching burning for hours, even after replacing the lashes. The "monthly membership" is not monthly- it's for an ENTIRE YEAR. However they don't tell you that when you sign up, it's in the "fine print". The front desk, Ellie and manager, Tessa very rude. The only front desk person willing to help was Lily. I called trying to cancel my member ship because the eyelashes were very irritating and made my eyes swell and started to tear, also the lashes were placed on my eyelid rather than my eyelashes. So I called saying that and they told me I had to bring in a doctors note. I have to bring in a doctors note to cancel a membership ?? I told them that I won't get extensions again, most likely anywhere not just that place. Instead of giving me an explanation they just said "sorry have to pay 12 months in full if you want to cancel it" I did receive a contact and she went over it but no where did it say I have to be a prior member for 12 months before I can cancel. Why can't I just cancel and not pay ? I was more mad at the service and attitude I got when I said I wanted to cancel.
