I recently visited Adriana at Pretty in the City and was taken back by her professionalism and knowledge. Not only was she friendly, she was also very thorough in explaining the products she was using. I originally booked a Glycolic + Salicylic Peel. However, once Adriana took a look at my skin, she recommended a different facial that would be more beneficial to my skin. She indicated that if I chose to go with the peel my skin would become dry. So, I took her advice and let her do the facial she recommended. I have been to high end places where they basically do the facial you book, whether its suited for you or not. That wasn't the case with Adriana, she truly exemplifies customer service, and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend her for all your beauty needs. You will not be disappointed. Okay, to start I am probably the worst client in the world because I was in the beauty industry for 14 years. I'm super picky and particular about everything. Adriana sanitized her hands right in front of me. Which I like because my last lady did not. She made sure I was warm and comfortable. She only does one eye at a time which is awesome because it is more relaxing with only one eye taped. She is punctual! Started on time and ended 3-4 mins early to get me out and her next one in. Okay, now my LASHES. OMG they are beautiful!!! Big, full, beautiful eyelashes. I loved chatting with her and she made me feel like I was one of the friends. I'm giving Pretty in the City 5 stars because I've been getting my eyelashes done for 6 years and this is finally the first place that I feel comfortable. Adriana is literally the best. So knowledgeable and she makes sure to answer all your questions to the best of her knowledge. My eyelashes have never looked so amazing before she also showed me how to properly clean my eyelashes which I've never done before. So I purchased novalash and it has seriously helped my natural eyelashes grow more healthier! I went to see Adrianna for eyelash extensions after a recommendation by a coworker. I was skeptical because my first try at a DIFFERENT salon was a disaster. But when she was finished I knew instantly these would be better because I could actually see them without having to get right up next to the mirror. I was worried about getting lash extensions before I did it as I had heard many horror stories from friends. I had went to a couple different places before and was not impressed. After I went to Aislinn I was amazed. I have always had weird wonky lashes and she made them look fabulous. I have never gotten soooo many compliments on my lashes in my life as I do now. Went in for the second time today for a eyelash refill and facial, both done by Veronica... another 2 hour visit but you are so relaxed those 2 hours fly by. Hands down these are the girls you want doing your lashes. They stay up to date with the latest trends and are very knowledgeable about the proper techniques for their field. Where do I start!?!... the shop is in a great location, super easy to get to. Once in the suite the lights are dimmed just right to where as soon as you step in you feel relaxed.
