Veronica has been doing my lashes for 4 years! I love them and refuse to go anywhere else!

I got my lashes done in June, and the last lash just fell off on its own 3 months later. I had good volume for about 6-7 weeks, so you definitely get your money's worth. The reason I am leaving the avg review is because I feel like the glue is almost too strong. My main issue is my lashes are now short tiny shards which were naturally much longer pre-lash extensions. The reason I can tell how obvious it looks is because my lower lid lashes look longer right now than my upper lashes. For the health of your lashes, I wouldn't recommend lash extensions here. Just see a dermatologist and get Latisse, and do it the healthy way. read more

I thought the Eyelashes were cute! but I honestly really wanted more of a longer look. kinda like the ones they displayed on the photos from Yelp. these were size 15 and the tech said she didn't carry longer. I've had lash extensions--mostly Novalash--for nearly 8 years. I'm particular about the glue that lash techs use and typically no glue holds like Novalash. I'm giving PITC the first 3 stars because I went there for 2+ years with no problems. I drove 45 minutes for them. They claim to use Novalash (although I believe that the only one who is certified to use it is Adrianna). I think something happened that is compromising the quality of their lashes. During my last appointment in March 2019, my tech, Aislynn told me that she was going to remove most, if not all, of my previous extensions. (My previous fill was with a Novalash certified tech also, and she's great, but she doesn't offer volume lashes). Within 7 days of the fill at PITC, so many extensions had fallen out that I had bald spots and had to start wearing mascara. As if I had received some sort of cheap glue that they have at a hair salon or something. Weird. I told them about it and they offered to fix it, but I live far from them and so I could only come in for a 3-week fill time slot and not a full set. When I came in, I was told that my lashes were thin and sparse, and that that was probably why my glue didn't held (???). Okay. I've had Lashes for a very, very long time (with breaks in between to let them grow more) and I use a lash serum. Years ago, I battled medical conditions that caused my lashes to thin out before and STILL my Novalash glue held just fine, per my advanced tech friend. I still had lashes. Never have I ever had them just fall out in 8 years. I listened and did what she said. I waited two weeks, used my serum, took my supplements, and my lashes grew fine. They even looked great with just mascara. I booked a full hybrid set (to ads even more fullness, just in case). They looked FABULOUS at first, and then these are my lashes after only 7 days. I have a family photo shoot tomorrow, and my left eye is very thin looking and sparse, with bald spots on both eyes. I am so frustrated. (None of my natural lashes have fallen out...Just the extensions.) If I brush them, it rains eyelash extensions. That isn't the fault of my lashes, but something that is going on with the application or the glue. Another reason that this review is getting the first 3 stars is because when I contacted them about it, they did offer to fix it a few days from now and offered me a 50% refund. They have two stars removed because it took me all day to go back-and-forth via text with them about it in order for them to issue me a full, 100% refund. And because this would've been the third time that I would have had to drive 45 minutes there to get a lash problem fixed. Even after explaining to them last night that I had a family photo shoot on Sunday, they did not squeeze me in to fix the issue today, because they said that they were sorry that they were booked. So I'm going to have to spend additional money to buy strip lashes so that I don't look crazy. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. Especially for a repeat client that started going there years ago, and who has had this happen more than once. read more

After going here for about 3 months, I can honestly say that this is hands down the best place in Fort Worth to get your lashes done. I've been to about 4 different lash spots in the area, but no location or lash specialist compares to Pretty In The City or Adriana. Adriana always does my lashes exactly how I like them and I have complete trust and confidence in her abilities. The volume and length are always noticeable, but they still look natural and I always have people asking if they are my natural lashes! She also carefully removes the old lashes before applying new ones which a lot of lash specialists don't do. I'm also obsessed with the atmosphere of Pretty In The City. It is SO CUTE inside, I always feel comfortable, the beauticians are professional yet chill, and they always have awesome music playing. I have nothing but positive things to say about Adriana and Pretty In The City. Go here if you're looking for a new lash place in Fort Worth, TRUST ME!!! read more

Okay, to start I am probably the worst client in the world because I was in the beauty industry for 14 years. I'm super picky and particular about everything. Adriana sanitized her hands right in front of me. Which I like because my last lady did not. She made sure I was warm and comfortable. She only does one eye at a time which is awesome because it is more relaxing with only one eye taped. She is punctual! Started on time and ended 3-4 mins early to get me out and her next one in. Okay, now my LASHES. OMG they are beautiful!!! Big, full, beautiful eyelashes. I loved chatting with her and she made me feel like I was one of the friends. She's a business oriented women looking to grow and expand her business. I will be back because she is my eyelash girl now. They book up quick so plan ahead. Thank you Adriana. Before getting lash extensions, I was very nervous to make that commitment and did a ton of research. Trusting Veronica and Adriana with lashes was the best decision I've made! My original set and regular fills have been with Veronica and I can't say enough great things about her! She is professional, makes me feel welcome every time and makes sure I'm happy with my extensions. She doesn't mind when I take lash naps and her music playlists are just an added bonus. If you're on the fence about lash extensions and want to be taken care of, let them work their magic! read more

It took awhile for me to write this review and I am completely torn on how many stars to give this place. If I base it solely on how well Veronica did my lashes, I would give almost 5 stars. She was most definitely my favorite person here and made my lashes look so natural. Since I stopped getting my lashes done in December 2017, I have been focused on growing my lashes and making them stronger. No matter how good the esthetician is, your lashes will be damaged once you stop. How beautiful they look when they are done, you will have short and damaged lashes. What made me stop coming here is how no one at this salon makes hygiene and cleanliness important. I have never seen them wash their hands before starting my lash, they never change the dirty fluffy blanket that people lay their feet on, never change the sheet you lay on and if they are under the weather, they don't wear a mask being so close to your face. For some reason my eyes would itch like crazy! I even went to my PCP for it. I purchased eye drops to help with itching. My eyelids were swollen at times as well. I think the ladies here need to practice being more sterile. The eye is a mucous membrane and it is so easy to catch an infection if the esthetician is not practicing the hygienic techniques learned in school. It just takes one person coming in with an eye infection, for them to spread it to their clients. read more
