Decided to try eyelash extensions here for my first time ever, and I wouldn't come back. I asked for a natural set of lashes and ended up with the most unnatural look, totally drowning out my natural eye shape. I had to go back 3x in an attempt to fix the lashes how I wanted and it didn't help any. Ended up going to a different lash studio to get them removed because they were done incorrectly and were uncomfortable due to the amount of lashes placed on me. Complete waste of money and time. The front desk ladies were nice and seemed to be the only positive about this location. read more

This was by far the worst experience with customer service that I have EVER been a witness of. Sierra, the general manager, is the WORST manager I've ever come in contact with. She has zero people skills. She didn't even look up when I walked in the door and was standing right in front of her. She looked confused as to why I walked in. Like hello!? I have an appointment! She was training another employee and wouldn't let the other girl SPEAK. And to top it off, as I was waiting in for the lady to call me back, I had to sit there and listen to Sierra SCREAM on the phone to a customer. If I was the owner I would have her fired. I was so excited to go to the new lash studio near my home. However after 2 1/2 hours of lying on the table only to have two different tech and two different lashes the excitement replaced with despair. To add to insult the novice tech could not understand English well. The brochure and website boast on how tech will create a style you want. Well how can that happen with a language barrier. It was closing time so no repair or apologize for the poor service. I lost good money and have an important gala tomorrow. My sisters visited another location and had great reviews. I plan to contact manager about refund or at least repair. I was to upset to speak to anyone at time of service. I did not want to be labeled as the angry lady. I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews on quite a few things. The receptionist completely sucks. Dismissive and uninformative. The girl was unwrapping some picture frames and wouldn't look up to speak to me. Kinda rude, however I continue to ask questions until she finally stopped and directed her attention to me. I've recently had a bad experience getting my lashes refilled in Houston since moving back, so I was a little weary of trying a new place. Due to my last lash experience I let all of my lashes fall of and I needed a new set. The day of my appointment I showed up 10min early. My appointment was at 9am. The technician showed up at 9:07. She then asked for her payroll check and proceeded to look over her pay. Really??? A little before 9:15 she grabbed me and got started. She did apologize for being late, that traffic was really bad. Uh it's Houston. Traffic is bad everyday. While we were in the room I told her what I wanted. I wanted the biggest thickest ones which is what I'm used to. She gave me pushed back a little and said that it was too big and it wouldn't look natural. I explained to her that I didn't want natural. If I wanted natural I would just use my own lashes. I wanted to make sure my eyes popped and I preferred fuller longer lashes since I like to go bare face often. So we finally agreed on the size and she got started. After about an hour and 15 min we were done and I had fabulous lashes. I felt like myself again!!! I will be back I just hope I have consistent results with my lashes. Management should really look into fixing their customer service quality and the technicians time and attendance. read more

I recently had my second set of full lashes at this location. The previous set (over 1.5 years ago) was applied flawlessly and lasted a full 3.5-4 weeks before starting to shed. I did not want to continue refilling the extensions due to cost at that time but I absolutely loved them and looked forward to another set at some time. I decided to have another full set applied before vacation at the beginning of September. The reception staff seemed cold and preoccupied with themselves; as a side note, phones were ringing without answer. Overall, my eyelash application was fine, I even dozed off during the middle of it. Toward the end, I noticed my eyes were burning a little from the glue. I don't know if this was due to poor technique or if this is common/expected but it didn't happen the last time. No one counseled me on eyelash care but I found a brochure at the reception desk of rules to follow- no washing in the first 48 hrs, no eye makeup, saunas, yada yada-- I'm glad I found the brochure! I pre-booked my refill appointment but did not sign up for the membership- thank goodness. Within the first week, I lost 2 dozen lashes/extensions. Mind you, I was in Europe by this time and looked pretty ragged by the end of the trip. The location asked for a review and I emailed them a recount of my disappointing experience in lieu of going straight to social media. I didn't not receive a reply- no phone call, no email, nothing. To make things worse, I have elected to have my eyelashes refilled elsewhere but needed to cancel my pre-booked appointment to avoid no-show charges. After FOUR phone calls, leaving a voicemail, and an email (no answer or reply to these) I received a text saying my cancellation had been processed. I guess a phone call or email from a person would have been too much. I am a little disappointed in the eyelashes I received but I am mostly upset by the complete lack of customer service. I hope this is only an issue at this location but I would not recommend service here based on this experience. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because the front desk girls were EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. I had never been to this location before but decided to try it out cause it is close to where I live. As you all know, it takes 2 hours (approximately) to get a full set of lashes. With that being said, I explained to my lash technician that I wanted full "kardashian" style lashes and two hours later, it looked like I had just put mascara on my lashes lol. I told her she needed to redo them so she had me lay there for another 20 plus minutes and afterwards they looked EXACTLY THE SAME. At this point I was so frustrated but the front desk girls were so nice and accommodating that they got another technician to "fix" my lashes. They looked better after the second tech added some more lashes, but it still wasn't a great experience. read more

I had an extreme reaction to the glue that was used. My eyes were extremely swollen red and itchy. I lost a lot of my natural lashes. After discussing with them and trying it several times I decided to have the Lashes removed. And come to find out I was charged $30 just to have them removed even though I had a really bad reaction to the glue. read more

I love Cathy she does a fabulous job filling my lashes, i have been in the location when the front desk girls have to deal with an angry customer... they are great with customers that are upset however; that translates to the customers that are not angry. They need some serious customer service skills and speaking to customers in person and over the phone. I called and asked about appointments, they gave me a time and I asked if there were any later appointments for that day.... the girl that answered the phone immediately stated NOT in a nice tone... "I said this was the latest appointment today." I am so sorry for having hearing issues; however; ll she had to say was, "I am sorry this is the latest appointment we have today, would you like for me to check another day for you?" This place has been nothing but horrible to me. Almost every time I go they have the wrong appointment time after they have confirmed the day before on text and now I just noticed they have been taking money out of my account 2 times a month not just once. Last time I went I noticed it and they had the nerve to tell me I had no credit . I took a screenshot of the debit in my account and walked out .I wake up this morning and once again they took it out again so another 2 times. I will never return this was the absolute worse lash experience I've ever had. I was booked with Betty! Do not book with her! She has a nasty attitude. She was not welcoming at all to say that was my first experience with this particular stylist. Did not greet me with a hello, hey, hi nothing, she looked at me and said come on. So I proceed to follow her into the suite. That should have been my first red flag. She was so rough during my experience. She snatched the tape from under my eyes. Rather than apologize when I screamed ouch she said NOTHING!!! She pinched me 2-3 times, still NO apologies!!! Once she was completed both of my eyes were stuck together. She had a bit of an attitude when I brought that to her attention. But she really went off literally when I looked in the mirror and advised that 1) there was lashes glued to my bottom lashes 2) I had gaps. She immediately got up and stormed out the room while saying she can't deal with this. Comes back with a manager. All the while I was nice to this young lady. I'm a hairstylist I get customer service. Maybe she was having a bad day who knows but everything she accused me of doing to her manager she did. Not once did she take ownership for anything, in fact she screamed for me to get out! I have given this company countless opportunities and it's unfortunate but I'll be parting ways and cancelling my membership. Do not book with Betty! She lacks customer service and obviously you have to book with her on a day that she feels up to it. Even management tried to say that she came in rather quiet today and may be having a bad day, well that's no excuse to treat your clients that way. I will never come back here! read more

I had a horrible experience today. I was there for 3 hours and left with unmatched eyes. one had some lashes BUT NOT WHAT I REQUESTED in the picture. The other eye had half the amount. I called and they offered to remove them for me but not refund me. Then they offered for me to come back, That they were able to get a 30 min appointment for me. Little did I know they were giving me the same girl until I got there with the same inexperienced leader Vanessa. I spent another hour there. 4 HOURS OF MY DAY IN TOTAL, A COMPLETE waste. I don't even look like I have lashes on. They asked me if I wanted to come again with a more experienced tech. The answer is no. I was a model today, so I get bad service? Honestly I would have paid triple if I would have gotten what I requested. I couldn't be more clear of what I wanted than to show THEM the picture on their advertisement in the room. I requested from the PROFESSIONAL " I want what's in this picture on your display " I do not know what the lashes are called. This is not my profession, its theirs. What I got looks NOTHING like what I asked for. Vanessa was also rude, One word answers. I CAN NOT BELIEVE this place is in business. I will never go back and I will post pictures of my eyelashes or lack thereof everyday on my Facebook page in hopes of saving someone else's precious time and aggravation. No one ever answers the phone and I can never get a call back when I leave a message. I was recently charged for a cancellation after repeated attempts to call the location.. I will not be returning. Then the receptionist said it was from a different location when I have the VM with this locations number. When I asked to speak to a manager said no one was available and wouldn't be in till Monday. Great place - front desk receptionists were friendly and helpful.. They are very prompt on time as well. Victoria is who I always use and she is the BEST. One time I couldn't get in with her and ended up with another woman who did a horrible job on my eyelashes, one wasn't filled well at all and you could tell a definite difference. She took a lot longer and was not very good with the glue, my eyes ended up burning a little. Will try to find out what her name was. That is why I gave them 4 stars vs 5. I will always come back to this place though and use Victoria. She rocks!!! read more

Nice Staff, but lashes looked great first 5 days, then started falling out on one eye terribly. Didn't even make it a week. They only offer 2-3 day touch up for free of course before your allowed to get them wet. Very disappointed, I work at a med spa for years and if I wanted to keep a new client, key to success is retain and referral. I definitely will not recommended them to my clients or go there again. I think they are only interested in getting the $79.99 and selling membership than keeping their new clients. read more

Absolutely WORST ran business ever....I was charged for a full year after I signed a cancellation form via email. The salon refuses to reimburse me my money and will not call me nor return any emails. I still have the original email with the signed cancellation form and they said bc their manager did not sign it its my problem. It's not my problem when I did exactly what was expected of me by filling the form out and sending to them. The front desk is ran by young girls that sit there and gossip and obviously not doing their job. It's sad that they are refusing to reimburse me when I did not receive a service and signed a cancellation form. read more

Mixed reviews on this place. First and most importantly, they have excellent customer service. I was absolutely mortified with my first set which were 13 and 15mm ... while they looked great they were so long they looked like obvious falsies. The technician didn't even discuss length until I was already prepped and ready for application with my eyes closed and taped. I really didn't know what I was getting into. The manager paid for my removal and reapplication -- for which i'm exceptionally grateful. Second, and second most important, I received long thick black curvy lashes which made me look younger, more beautiful (seriously I've been beating off men with a stick), and allowed me to skip eye makeup (which I never leave home without). No smudges, ever. WOO hoo!! I went with 9-10-11 natural styling for my application. (My natural lashes which are very pale at the tips and very fine are 10-11-12 and the difference was still striking) Where I would give a five star rating based on customer service and achieving a long lasting dramatic look -- I dock the first star for options. The choices weren't natural enough for my very conservative tastes. While the end result is lashes that look real- though as if i were wearing a dramatic clump free mascara -- i'd rather a born with it look that's slightly more natural or less dramatically enhanced. On me they looked like high end falsies but without the strip. On others who have naturally darker naturally more curly lashes they look more natural. (You can spot people all over wearing them once you know how they look!!) Your options are one curviness. Two thicknesses. And one very black color. I found these lashes to be much more curvy than I prefer (I have fine, straight, light ash colored hair and my lashes are also fine, pale and not very curly), and I normally prefer blackish brown mascara. While they visually blended seamlessly with my lashes, I was disappointed that as my lashes grew out (now week 4) the look became more unnatural as the thick root end of the extension can be seen on my slender paler natural lash when close up and the odd lash near the outer edge of my eyes is a good 4mm now than the rest and stands out in a strange way. They dont' feel weird to wear only stiffer to touch than natural and a little rough edge near the lash line if you're petting your lashes (who does that i'm a freak.. seriously though you have to brush them to keep extremely long lashes to fan them out on occasion because they tangle for lack of a better term). One guy called me out on having 'done something to my eyes', most wonder whether I have a great mascara but say nothing. While clearly beautiful, I felt a bit fake and self conscious at first. I dock the second star for the wide skill level of the typical technician. The first application I felt like masking tape had been applied to my eyes, it was uncomfortable and pinched/pulled. There was a poking like with the end of a toothpick on my eyelids and frequent burning sensation, and tearing-- I was told was the fumes of the glue and normal. I was a bit taken aback by these 'fumes' when while applying to the right corner of my eye, I felt burning migrate from the right to the left corner of my eye nowhere near the glue. My second technican was doing a removal and there again- insane burning as the 'fumes' got in my eyes. I was told this is 'normal'. Conversely, when I had my second application (my third technician), I was assigned a master technician (normally +10-$20 fee for this skilled professional). The entire process by comparison to the first appointment was painless. No poking, no burning, none of these 'fumes' at all. I barely felt the pads as applied, not at all uncomfortable and realized these are a very effectivepuff reducing gel pad- very relaxing.. I hadn't even known she'd started until she'd been applying lashes a few minutes!! It was as relaxing and pain free as the website promises - (but didn't deliver the first time using a normal technician). It made me wonder if the first technicians were getting actual glue in my eyeball ... -- after all the master never got fumes in my eye. My eyes looked great the day of. And then were red and bloodshot for four days later. Using eye drops only helped a little and it detracted from the look, I would say they looked their best the day of -- and then again after about 1 week. I'm not sure if the redness was from the abuse I sustained at the hands of the first two technicians. I would NEVER go back unless I had a master technician. I'll be trying another lash place next time so I can have more lash options, like natural and synthetic minks, and silk with j vs c curl options and colors like black brown. The next time I do extensions i'm going to keep in mind -- because they're applied to the base of the lash -- if I do extensions to the same length as my existing lash-- it'll mean some of them will be nearly twice as long by the time they fall out!!! read more

I have gone to the other location on Voss for a long time, and I was very happy. This new location has awful booking customer service. I called to schedule an appointment and the first available was for the next day at 1:30. They do want a credit card to keep on file in case you don't show up. Well, I arrived about 5 minutes early only to be told that I did not have an appointment and there must have been a "booking error." The girl up front did not seem concerned that I had blocked out my afternoon and didn't seem to understand why it would be a problem to come back in the evening. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere which is unfortunate because I was really excited about the new location. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have been going to Amazing Lash for years, but down on Voss in River Oaks. Now that I have been going to the Vintage Park location, the lashes DO NOT STAY ON!!! The manager told me I don't know how to take care of them and my real lashes are falling out. WHAT??? Trust me, I had my own lashes checked, they are not falling out. I've been wearing Amazing Lashes for YEARS, I know how to care for them. My last set lasted 1 week not the usual 3 weeks. I was a dedicated customer and absolutely loved my lashes. I got several of my friends and family to go there too. But never again will I go to this place! NEVER!!! I will tell you, my friends who were wearing these lashes have stopped going too. Their lashes fall out during the first week just like mine. My daughters refuse to go for the same reason. PLUS, my contract expired 2 months ago and they keep billing my credit card. I was told the manager would call me back and fix my problem, but she has not returned calls. In fact, now they are not answering phone calls. Time to get a lawyer! I'm filing charges. My advice.......DO NOT GO TO AMAZING LASH. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! read more
