I've been reading the horror stories and am delighted to say I've never been treated badly nor have I ever been disappointed with my lashes.

I've had a few experiences with this place, the first was fine. Not too much interaction with the front desk girls, no in depth explanation of when to rebook for refills or maintenance or even memberships. So you can imagine my frustration when I book an appointment for a refill, and the girl who took me back (with a chip on her shoulder) laid me on the bed for two seconds and quickly said I didn't have 25% of the lashes for her to refill. On top of that, she said she "didn't have time" to do a full set, and it cost $150 anyway, so I would have to reschedule... I guess not everyone goes to work intending to do that. I've only been two times but both times I was not impressed. The Second time I made an appointment they didn't even have me scheduled, they put me down for the following day instead of that day. I was leaving for vacation the next morning! So it could not he rescheduled. I was told that I should not have made the appointment so close to going out of town...umm ok it's my fault your idiots. read more

I've gone here on and off for special occasions or vacations for almost 2 years. I always wait 20 plus minutes after my appointment time to be called back. I've seen different stylists; they all are about the same. None very informative or helpful in deciding what style or length to choose based on what you are going for. It is an uncomfortable process. The glue does burn a bit. If you wear contacts normally; DONT! The first 24 hours are kind of annoying then you get used to them; however, the individual lash strands are thick- more so than adhesive (but you look made up for a beach vacay etc) and they clump!!!! I seem to spend as much time gently brushing them out to separate as I would applying mascara. I know friends who go elsewhere and pay the same and don't experience the physical discomfort after, burning of the glue, annoying wait of trouble scheduling and most of all they look more natural longer!!!! This last set is less than a week old. My eyes looked horrible for a big event they are swollen, burning in light, itchy and shedding clumps of lashes. Right now I have coconut oil on them per my eye dr recommendation trying to loosen the remaining adhesive and ice packs 15 minutes on and off for swelling. I'm calling tomorrow and asking for a refund and NEVER GOING BACK read more

I have a membership here and I have to say the service here is not that great. You pay for 50 minutes for a full fill and pretty much the stylists the last several times tries to finish in 30 minutes or less. I can tell you when they spend the whole 50 minutes versus cutting me down to 30 my lashes look COMPLETELY different. Before I would be placed with a stylist that was constantly late for her appointments and she would try to cut my appointment time out from her tardiness. So I think I'd have to agree with the reviewers here that it's not great. However due to repeated short cut appointments I'm canceling my membership after the term is up and going elsewhere as I have been very disappointed. Hope management reads these reviews. I've heard the you have less lashes excuse, but I can tell you I have had full 50 minutes and the end result is much different. They never tell the client your lashes will take "over 50 minutes so we'll work the other 30 minutes for free"...same concept, but only one sided. So I think some training needs to be done. read more

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! That is all I can say. The customer service is unprofessional and rude. Do not know how to run the computers so be careful booking with this location because they might not book your appointment right and won't fix it when you show up (even though they think they did) staff needs more training and the manager (if she is still there) SIERRA is unprofessional and not a proactive manager. she intentionally ignores customers calls that want to speak with her so she won't haft to "deal with it" very unprofessional. Workers on their phones constantly, have even seen the workers make fun of customers. So sad. Do not go to this location. Poor service. Non experienced workers. Terrible manager. Do not get caught up in wasting your time and money in a year long contract here! They are horrible at managing schedules and dont care about YOUR time. Ive been given random stylist, until I began requesting a specific one. Then Id randomly find my appointment given away or have to reschedule with someone else. Quality of work is comparable or less than other places (depending on stylist), but being locked in a contract and then having to waste Your time & gas for their bad scheduling management......just dont waste your time unless you live close or dont have to work and can move your schedule to meet theirs. Oh yes, and the parking situation here is horrible and will cause you to be late to your appt that you would have to sit & wait for anyways....I was late to my appt today, forced to reschedule and currently sitting and waiting for my new appointment that started 14 minutes ago....so why did I have to reschedule my original one???? read more

I do not recommend getting their membership. They make it extremely hard to cancel. I was with them for about 2 years. I finally,decided to cancel and it feels like they're giving me the run around. They continued to charge my account after I asked them not too. They also state they cant refund my money. "The money will stay on the account" For what??? Is my question. I don't want to continue getting my lashes done and i have no one to transfer the credit to. It is extremely unfair and unethical. We all work hard for our money. read more

Yeah your lashes will look great but just know if you get a major eye infection(not allergy) from their unclean implements they will not refund your money. Called the manager several times. I have permanent eye problems to this day and i got the eye infection over 6 months ago. My optician said its most likely from the tools not being sanitized. read more

I typically go to the location in The Woodlands, however I was going out of town and was unable to get I to see the girl I usually do at The Woodlands on such short notice. I called this location (closer to me so I figured it was convenient anyway) the young lady that booked my apt was nice and helpful. I booked the apt for that same day and I asked her what was the cancellation policy since I am booking the same day (I am aware it is within 24 hours if booking ahead of time). The young lady told me "oh as long as you let us know within the hour of booking this you will be fine" I called in less time than the hour of booking it and told them I could not make it after all. The girl told me "ok that's fine, thanks" and hung up. 2 hours later I received a notification that my account was charged. At this time they were closed so I called back the next day. When I called a girl named Leah or Leanne something like that answered and I told her I was wondering why there was a charge on my account. Before I could even finish she said "did you have a no show?" And I said "I cancelled my apt an hour after booking it and was told there would be no charge" she reasponded "well do you know who you spoke to? Because that's our policy" I told her I did not recall the girls name but that I was aware of the policy. However I was told I wouldn't be charged and I mean I didn't even have 24 hours to cancel the apt. She then said "well I wasn't here yesterday so I don't have any say in what you were told" I then said "well even when I called to cancel the girl didn't tell me they would charge me and I work in a salon just like this where if the apt is made that same day there is no charge. If there was gonna be a charge someone should have told me" she cut me off again and said "you signed a contract stating you authorized all charges. You are a member right?" And I said "yes I am" and she said "okay then that's the policy, anything further you can tk to the manager" so I said I would like to talk to the manager and she said "she isn't in but you can try and dispute it with her" Like I said, I work in a salon just like this. I'm a manager and I would never allow the girls working the front desk to speak to any client this way. None of the girls I work with do. This was terrible customer service and she continued to cut me off as I explained it to her. Also if there was gonna be a charge I should have been told that initially. I called back again and "no manager available but we can give them your information" still haven't received a call back from them. Now I know to stick to The Woodlands location because they know how to talk to people. This is by far the worst customer service I have received from these salons and the front desk girl I talked to was rude and not helpful. I should have listened to the previous reviews on here stating they had terrible customer service and management. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different location. So this is the update: I received a call back from the manager there about 2 weeks later after countless times I had called to try and reach her. She continued to state it was their policy and that she couldn't do anything for me without talking to the employee first. She said she would speak with her and call me back no later than Thursday of that week. It has now been a whole week & a half and still no call back from her. Once again, terrible service. read more

Save yourself the heartache!! I have had several experiences with Amazing Lash Studio and they were all fine, nothing extraordinary. I recently encouraged a co-worker of mine to get her eyelash extensions at this studio. Her visits have not been exceptional. Now with all that being said, all four of the times she visited the Studio, the technicians were rude to her, saying "there was not enough time to do her lashes". If I call in for an appointment and I say most of my lashes have fallen out or I have not been in for a refill in 3 to 4 weeks, wouldn't the receptionist assume that I would need a full set. The front desk girls have hardly any interaction with their customers. They do a horrible job of explaining the process of refills and full sets. They simply get you hook you into paying for a membership you have no knowledge of. I do not work for this studio; it is not my responsibility to tell anyone I refer how to care for their lashes or to explain the difference between a full set and a refill because the staff does a poor job of communicating. So as you can imagine the frustration my coworker experienced when booking an appointment for a refill, and the girl who took a look at her lashes and rapidly said she didn't have enough of the lashes for her to refill. To make matters worse, she said she "didn't have time" to do a full set, and the weather was the cause of her lashes falling out so quickly. On top of that she said that she would have to reschedule. Love coming here! My stylist Van talked me through what was going on during my first visit. She was very knowledgeable on what would look good and what needed to be done for after care. HORRIBLE MANAGMENT!!! I actually have a membership with amazing eyelash studio and will go to any other place even though this one is literally across the street from me! The manager there is extremely rude! I got my lashes done by a stylist (I don't want to mention her name..my intention is not for her to loose business) and when i walked out i expressed to the manager that they were not to my liking.. It was a refill session which should have taken an hour but i was finished within 30 min! I called within 2 days to again let the manager know my lashes were falling out and it was like i never did a refill.. she told me that i would have to come in now or else i would loose my chance in fixing them. Well i couldn't go in there now and she refused to put me down for the next day. She began to yell and tell me that she offered to book a makeup apt. that this transfer can be conducted as self dealing, when i was there the same day...that was NOT true! Horrible customer service. I moved from the Dallas area where there are a lot of options for lash studios. I've always had excellent service...until I moved here. I immediately looked for a local studio. I live in The Woodlands. As of now, the closest store is off Louetta. It takes me about 30 minutes to get there and I am still not used to the Houston traffic. The first visit, I found the front desk incredibly rude and distant. I was on time but I waited 20 for my technician to be ready for me. My technician did a fantastic job but spend a lot of my appointment time texting. I was a little upset about that but when I saw my lashes, they were the best I've seen. They lasted for a long time and I was happy. So I decided to give her another chance. The second time, I was late because of all the traffic, I was 10 minutes late. I called ahead to let them know I was a mile away and they told me it was ok. I got there, and it was a totally different story!! She told me that she would not have time to fill my lashes or she could do her best in the time allotted. I politely said yes. AND WAITED for the technician. (Let's keep in mind that I received a phone call that THEY needed to reschedule!! I politely agreed but it was for the following week!) She did my lashes but they were not the same as before! And she did make sure to she informed me that she would not have time to do all of my lashes but would do what she could. When my lashes were done, there was a BIG difference. They were ok. Definitely NOT the normal experience you get at amazing lash studio! But I was late and that's what I get. So much for good customer service...Well, this time around, my lashes were coming off faster than the fill before. I WENT 17 DAYS AND YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT ITS MY FAULT THAT ALL OF MY LASHES CAME OFF?!!!!! Somehow...I don't believe that this is MY fault!!! Soooo...today I went for my third appointment...with all of my lashes off because of the bad job before 17 days ago. When I walked in the receptionist greeted me, I gave her my name and she looked at me and said, "you need a full set and the technician does not have the time for that at the moment. The next available appointment is at 4:30." THIS IS THE LAST STRAW! I've been going to Amazing Lash studio for almost a year now and have NEVER had this kind of service. I waited a couple hours before I made this review hoping that the manager (whom was asked to contact me failed to). The customer service i received from the receptionist Kaylee was absolutely horrible. I had an appointment with my preferred technician at 12. Kaylee called around 10 asking if i could come in at 2:30, I said I couldn't I had a prior commitment. She said then can you come in at 12:20. I said sure. I arrived at 12:20 and waited until 12:35 when I asked if Sophia will be much longer the other receptionist (i forgot her name) said she had me with Diane. Kaylee then immediately says "I told you when I called you we were changing technicians"... when I told Kaylee that she didn't- she insisted that she did and then went back to coloring her Lilo and stitch drawing.. the conversation was done. I was extremely upset by this point, I explained to the other receptionist I was not informed of the change. Kaylee without looking at me says "I told you Sophia had to attend recertification." she then picks up her phone and starts texting. I say to her "I guess your done with this conversation. I need to speak with a manager." Kaylee says "I'm texting her now" at that point the other technician was waiting so I went back and her do my lashes. I work in retail and do my best to make the customers feel valued. I'm writing this review in hopes of being contacted by someone in upper management. read more

Just like the other reviewers, I had a horrible time with the customer service. I have a billing issue and the poor girl at the front had no idea how to fix and wrote my name on the manager's list of calls to make. That was on 5/20/17. To date, no call. My son got me extensions for mothers day. While I can't comment on the experience because I chose to cancel my appt get his money credited back to his card I can say that he told me it took numerous attempts as no one answers the phone, when they finally did they acted like they didn't want his business and had no clue how to let him prepay for my appointment and really couldn't care less about answering his questions. He did prepay but I feel like no matter how good your technicians are if your desk people don't know how to do their job I don't trust any of you to touch my eyes. Cancelling my appt. Edited- called to cancel and the girl answering kept talking to other people in the room instead of assisting me on the phone. I had to keep asking her to repeat herself and She said "oh I'm talking to other clients". She finally put me on hold...where I sat for an extensive amount of time. When she finally came back to me it took her a long time to locate my appt and cancel it even though I told her my name and appt day/time. She really didn't seem to know what she was doing. And while she did apologize for keeping me in hold for so long I would think avoiding doing so to begin with even if she had to call me back would be a better option. Very unprofessional behavior. I have been a customer for over a year. While true they may have had some challenges with customer service, there have been many positive changes lately. The one constant positive has been my Master Stylist Julie... She is amazingly talented and very professional. I am always getting constant compliments on my lashes thanks to her. My lash tech is Victoria, and she is absolutely wonderful! Now for the the front desk, I've never had to deal with unprofessionalism like this before in my life! they are very snobby and act like they don't know what they're doing. I scheduled an appt for a Thursday at 12:50. I called a week before my appt to confirm, then I get a call from their automated system on a Monday telling me my appt was for Wednesday at 2:10, when I called to verify, they had moved my appt from Thursday to Wednesday and didn't even call me and let me know! And to make matters worse, the girl I talked to didn't even apologize and they didn't have my Thursday appt open anymore!! Very disappointing and frustrating! I have been going to Amazing Lash for about a year and a half, the last 6 months at the Vintage Park location. In that 6 months, I have had 3 appointments canceled at the last minute because the technician didn't show; and the 4th and last appointment I had was supposed to be at 1:00pm and when I showed up at 12:50pm, they informed me that my appointment was actually scheduled at 1AM (HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?!) And every single time the scheduling errors happen, the response I get from whichever receptionist is on duty at the time is that "there is nothing they can do but reschedule." What is the point of scheduling if the vast percentage of the time, the appointment is canceled? I have asked multiple times to speak to the manager, but have been told the last 4-5 times I asked that the manager wasn't in at that time. When I have been told she would call me, she never does. The last 2 times I have been there when they have messed up my appointment, I was told by the receptionist that "this happens all the time." It would seem to me that the common denominator here is that the management at this location is poor at best. Unreliable employees, rude receptionists with horrible attitudes and the worst overall customer service I have ever experienced. If I am paying for a service that does not deliver, as a business/franchise owner, wouldn't it behoove you to listen to your clientele, do not avoid the issue and make some changes? I went to Amazing Lash Studio for the first time on 2/02/18. This was my first time getting my lashes done and it was a very positive experience! I called them when a lash technician with a different company canceled on me at the last minute, right before I was leaving for vacation. The girl who answered was so kind and got me an appointment 45 minutes later! She was so patient with all of my questions and was just as friendly when I showed up for my appointment shortly after. She talked me through the entire procedure and helped me choose a style that was right for me. She also explained pricing of the membership for future reference. My lash technician was kind and very gentle. It was actually a relaxing appointment, which is not at all what I expected. I would give five stars except I noticed that the lashes on one eye were a bit fuller than the other. In the technicians defense, she did have me look in the mirror when she was done and asked me what I thought. I was honestly in such a hurry that day from that previous company canceling on me, that I didn't notice until I had already left. I'm sure that if I would have noticed she would have corrected it. Still, it was barely noticeable and I get a ton of compliments on my lashes. I will definitely be going back and will be signing up for the membership. I wish I could remember the name of the girl at the front desk that day, because her customer service was excellent! read more

DO NOT DO IT!!! I received a gift card for my birthday to get eyelash extensions from Amazing Lash Studio. After waiting a little over two months because I was skeptical about ruining my real lashes as they were already long, I finally made the appointment. This place is so busy I had to wait a week before I could get an appointment. (no big deal) BUT my technician did not speak English. She could not answer any of my questions about the eyelashes. She couldn't make any suggestions as to which ones I should get. I asked about the blonde or different color lashes, she didn't say anything just looked at me confused like she didn't know what I was talking about. I went ahead and just told her the natural style figuring what could go wrong she's the expert. It took her over an hour and a half and then just said if you don't like, they fix for free in 3 days. No one told me that you cant sleep a certain way, no one told me I needed to brush them, no one told me I could or couldn't wear mascara with them, no one offered the eye lash brush or shampoo for them, nothing. I got into my car to leave and check out my new lashes only to realize she put two different styles on. One natural and one gorgeous. The difference was soooo incredibly noticeable I started crying. I mean, I meet with clients and interact face to face with people every day and now I look like a clown. I immediately called the place when I got home and explained that the tech had clearly put two different styles on and that she didn't speak english and couldn't answer my questions and that I would think if you have someone coming in for the first time that you would put them with a senior technician or at least let them know there was a choice between the levels of experience and put them with someone who spoke English and could answer questions. The girl at the front desk told me that if I WANTED SOMEONE WHO SPOKE ENGLISH I SHOULD HAVE REQUESTED IT!!!!! (ummmm what?!) I contacted the manager about what happened, sent her a pic of the mismatched lashes and she just said they would fix them for free. This being said apparently they had no other openings until a week out. ( so I met with clients for a week with long explosive gorgeous style lashes on one side of my face and normal short natural style lashes on the other.) This appointment I specifically asked to be put with a senior tech in order to fix them but the client she had before me canceled and since I couldn't come in two hours earlier than scheduled, the senior tech went home for the day and once again they put me with an inexperienced tech. While shes starting on my lashes her cell phone kept going off with text messages in my ear and she says, "Normally I have it on vibrate but I was already suppose to be off when they came in here and told me I had another client". Talking about how shes tired and been at work all day and shes ready to go home. I asked if she had been doing this long she said no. (so great now i have an inexperienced tech who's not going to focus on doing a good job because shes rushing to go home because shes already suppose to be off) Twenty minutes later she was done and ONE SIDE WAS STILL EXTREMELY LONGER AND FULLER THAN THE OTHER and all she said was well maybe you slept wrong and smushed that side of your face causing them to be pushed up and longer. Started packing up her stuff and didn't even offer a solution. When I went to leave I told them the lashes were still not fixed . They agreed, one side still looked way different. I made ANOTHER appointment to get them fixed the following week and again MADE SURE TO REQUEST A SENIOR TECH. This time instead of a week out I had to come back in their 3 day time frame. So once again because I only had those three days to choose an appointment time, I had to take off work on the other side of town to come in because all they had were appointments around noon for the next three days. The manager told me they would remove them and start fresh. The 3rd tech I saw when going back to have them corrected did not speak English very well either, said they could not remove the lashes, she could just try and fill them in so that the lengths matched. Long story short, the lashes were never fixed until I gave it about a month and then went back to have them filled with the correct matching styles on both eyes. Since then, I have noticed that these fake lashes have caused my real lashes to fall out. I was told that these lashes would not harm my real ones. Prior to going in I had long blonde eyelashes. Now I have sparse short lashes from the fake ones ruining them, that mascara cant even fix. Just remember, when the fake lashes put on your real lashes to make them look thicker and longer start falling out, they are pulling out your real lashes that are still connected to them! I have been using this location for a couple of years and until recently I have not had any complaints. Getting these people to answer the phone is a lottery. I have been trying to get hold of them for 4 days (10 calls), have left multiple messages (3 of them) and nothing!. I finally got an answer this morning only to find out that they are booked up for a week. How do they get booked up when they don't answer the phone? is there a secret way I don't know about?. I have been visiting them every 3 to 4 weeks for a long time and each time there are always at least 3 girls behind the counter, all with lovely lashes..... not sure what they are doing there, wish i had that job. Anyway.... avoid them, they have a couple of good technicians but they are hard to get into and at the last visit the girl who did them had to spend time unsticking my eyes before I left - not a good experience. They are inexpensive for a reason so unless you can get one of those cushy reception jobs where you don't have to do anything like answer the phone or return phone calls try somewhere else - I will be. read more

I decided to get the eye lash extensions for my wedding. I do not have very long or thick eye lashes and i always feel the glue on ones, which bothers me. First, I had to call around to 4 different studios in my area just to get someone to answer the phone or call me back. Finally the one in the vintage called me back 2 days after my initial message. It took about 2 hours to apply the lashes, which was expected, but the girl did them too long. they looked absolutely fake. she talked me out of getting them re-done, i'm assuming because it takes so long. these were for my wedding the following week. unbelievably disappointment with the finished product. I was then told not to get them wet for 48 hours, which I made sure they did not get wet, and that they would last 3-4 weeks or longer with proper care. they began falling out within 2 days. I had just left for my wedding though and was unable to get them fixed at the time. within a week and a half they were completely gone and fell out in huge gaps throughout the day. i will never get these done again. not only did i not like the finished product but for the price they should at least last 2-3 weeks. I had been going to different Amazing Lash Studio locations since 2012 (Voss, Shepherd, and this location). Once I found this location I was very impressed by the professional staff and the way the stylist really cared about their work. I had never had a membership but the receptionist explained the savings and that it was a month to month commitment; so I agreed. I don't like memberships since sometimes they are a pain to cancel. (In the past I paid two years up front at 24 Hour Fitness just so I wouldn't have a monthly charge coming out of my account). However, when I canceled my membership with Amazing Lash in October I had no problems, until now. Monday I noticed a charge on my account for $91.98 that occurred Friday; Sunday I received an email asking how I enjoyed my service. So I'm thinking my card was charged for someone else's service on Friday. When I called yesterday at the start of the business day and spoke to the receptionist I was told that she could see the last time I was there was in October; my signed form in October canceling my membership but, she couldn't explain why they decided this month to take out two months of membership fees from my card and that a manager would call me once she got in. Around 2 when I still had not received a call from said manager I called back. Again, I was told by the same receptionist that I would receive a call back by end of day. Today, still no call back and the charges for two months of membership fees is still listed on my account. read more

The manager of this location named Sierra laughed at me as inquired about a the "monthly" service that I signed up for. Clearly if I was made aware that I was signing a 12 month agreement I would have never done so, the staff always seems so rushed and maybe proper training would insure they are providing correct information to new and existing clients. Sierra has absolutely no business stating that she is the general manager. She proceeded to tell me that she would not get fired because she laughed at a client. As I had read reviews on this location I was hesitant to visit but because I was so close I decided to give them a chance, wow. I was so wrong. the two ladies at the front desk were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. while waiting for my appointment (which started late) they were talking about their drunken night before "throwing shots back". i was just in for a refill and have always gotten the same fullness and length and it was clearly obvious on my current remaining lashes that i was at a shorter length. when i left i noticed they were WAY too long and WAY too full. i mentioned something when i paid and they said oh well you'll get use to them. i got in my car and quickly realized how unhappy i was with my lashes so i walked back in to see if i could get them thinned out or fixed and they were disrespectful in saying that there are no times available within the 3 day slot of getting them corrected for free and that i wouldn't be able to get them fixed without being charged. one of the girls mentioned "to each their own" in saying that my opinion is not valid. (it is my body and if i am unhappy shouldn't that matter????)i am so unhappy with this location and amazing lash that i cancelled my membership. i will be returning tomorrow for a removal and i will be done with this company. do not waste your money here. unprofessional. i had and appointment june 18, 2016 and at that time made a 2 weeks appointment. the 2 week appointment for the technician that is my second choice was available july 4, 2016. i asked the receptionist if they were open on july 4th and she said yes, so i make the appointment. well, july 4th comes and i drive the 30 minutes to the studio and they are closed! i even received an email confirming the appointment! well its tuesday july 5th and i have been calling since 9 am and now its 11 am and no one has answered the phone. whom ever is the manager should be embarresd because he/she did not take the time to review the schedule and have her employees call. the receptionsit are always rude and are always playing around at the front desk (i guess thats why they cant answer the phone). do not waste your time with this business, customer satisfaction is not what they are about. read more
