I am giving Lash Studio two stars because of the customer service at the front desk not the lash technicians. When I signed up I signed up to have my payment pulled before every session. I signed up for the once a mth plan. My payment was pulled once or twice then it was never clear as to when my payments will be pulled because of the booking dates . The receptionist was never clear explaining. Secondly, I took a two mth break to be told I owed $146.28. No one educated me on their billing. Today, I got a text saying my membership will be canceled . I replied saying i would like to book a date next week . Then I received a text saying they would like a new card to apply to my account not telling me of fees incurred of $146.28 for not doing my lashes for two mths. After telling them i would pay as i go and i would pay when i get there for my appointment then i got another text saying I owed $146.28. If i didn't mentioned anything i would've been charged on my card $146.28 if i had updated my card . Never the less i went on telling the receptionist whom refused to give me a name that no one educated me on freezing options else i would've froze my account. Of course she didn't reply as to why no one educated me on these options. My last text i asked her to have her manager call me and I haven't received a call ... Don't get me wrong the service with the lash technicians is great hence why i give two stars but my experience with the front desk receptionist is horrible!!! They definitely need better customer service and educate their clients of fees charged not just bill someones account. MONEY DONT GROW ON A TREE .... STILL WAITING ON A PHONE CALL .. read more

Let me start by saying I have had lashes this past summer from Desire Beauty Lounge in FH and I had a TERRIBLE experience from my lashes being GLUED TO MY EYELID, to my eyes tearing in pain, to losing chunks of my naturals.. I was very leery about this place and even explained to them my experiences on my first visit. I had my set put on in the end of December and I just had my first refill. The set looks great, even better after the refill since I adjusted the sizing a bit. The experience was good as well - pleasant and friendly staff, clean rooms and bathroom, and overall a pleasant environment. The cost is reasonable as well - especially since I was paying over $100 for lashes glued to my eyelids, and destroying my actual lashes. My one complaint is that when I went the first time, they made it clear I could become a member on my next visit without an issue. I assumed (my friend as well) that on the return visit we would join and thats that - we wanted to make sure they lasted, looked good, etc before 100% committing. Turns out that by waiting to join,you pay the nonmember rate for the refill, and then you also pay to become a member.. We just assumed that we would pay the member fee and not both. It could have been made clearer and the girl at the desk last night agreed and said she makes it known 100% to customers that thats the case. I also wasnt a big fan of the eyeliner... its a marker sort of applicator and never goes on evenly for me... Overall, I will be coming back for my lashes cause they are great. read more

Five stars (yeah, I said it). I waited a long time for this place to open! I had been getting my lashes done in Manhattan but hated commuting in for the service. I gave Amazing Lash Studio in Howard Beach a shot and was NOT disappointed. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and people chat in the waiting area (not that I have ever waited more than two minutes, but sometimes I get there early). The clients are happy. I know the women of Howard Beach, and believe me, if they were miserable about something, you'd hear it loud and clear. Nothing but amiable chat and smiling faces. I met the owner Gina the first time I went there and again the third time. What a lovely lady! I understood the happy vibe in the salon as soon as I met her. The real revelation was my technician, Angelica. I almost hate to tell you her name, because you'll hate me when you aren't able to book time with her. She is most people's favorite there, and when you see your lashes, you'll think you're in heaven! She has given me several different looks, helping me find the new "me". So, patient. So skilled! What a doll in every way. I love my lashes. Honorable mention: Amazing Lashes calls to confirm your appointments, and help you get on their schedule if you forgot to book. The patient person that does all this AND greets you with a sweet smile is Nicolette. She is at the front desk and makes your coming and going a delight. read more

I wanted to write a review about this place being it was the first time that I've ever done my eyelashes. First the place is clean beautiful and the girls are very nice. Do you feel like you're going into a spa and I love the fact that everything in there is sterile which means a lot to me being that they're touching my eyes. Are used a girl named Kadiga Who was amazing. My eyelashs look so natural, yet my eyes pop ,and I never have to put mascara on again. The fact that I could wake up in the morning and go to the gym and look fabulous is worth every single penny, you just have to take care of them like anything else I am now going on three weeks and I'm just going in to get a fill-in. every day that I look in the mirror I am still so surprised of how good They look .the compliments i get are so worth it . I don't normally write reviews but I had such a wonderful experience at Amazing lash I had to share. From the moment I walked in everyone was so welcoming they answered all my questions with honesty. I told them places I went to in the past were so expensive and they made it seem like I needed these expensive lashes so I wouldn't damage my lashes. I'd get them and within a week I had so much fall out. I had Angelique at Amazing lash and she told me what would fit my face for my day to day life and if I ever wanted a more dramatic look for a party we can do that. She steered me to a less expensive route and I love my LASHES it's been almost 3 weeks and I still feel so full. Looking forward to my refill tomorrow to let her know how much I loved them. I've come in two times now and everyone has been incredibly nice on staff. Angelique has done an AMAZING job both times and is very meticulous with her work, makes you feel extremely comfortable and is the utmost of professionalism. The lashes are very realistic, not that thick strip/line that some people prefer (lashes are glued to the base of each of your own individual lash), so if you prefer that look you might want to try somewhere else! I went 3 weeks the first set (even went swimming), and they still looked great, but I decided on the 2 week replenishment package so I'd always feel ready to go! Super happy I tried them out! The Amazing Lash Studio can be described using one word, amazing! Although I have only been a member of Amazing Lash for a few months, I am always completely satisfied with my results after each and every appointment. The studio is extremely clean and Alexa, Tina, Jessica and all other members of the staff are always friendly and make sure to accommodate to all of my needs. I adore amazing lash studio of howard beach! I have seen a few different stylists and they all make my lashes look bomb! They always blow me away with how amazing their lash techs are! I love the private lash rooms and i love the vibe of the studio. Im always greeted by the sweetest desk girls. I loved the lash work I received at this studio but the older women behind the desk with the black hair is extremely pushy and do to that i feel super uncomfortable and won't be returning.
