Booked an appointment for a correction and was charged. If a customer calls for a correction and it's past the timeline, the proper thing to do is alert your customer the appointment exceeds the timeline and let the know they will be charged. I was never told I would be charged, they never asked to authorize my card either. Before I left, I asked if I was good to go no recharge and the lady said yes have a good day. I called back a few days later after realizing I was charged, Destiney the manager proceeded to argue with me and tell me that since I've been to Amazing Lash before I should know the policy. She was extremely rude and refused to do anything to correct the issue. The lady at the counter never asked to charge my card, she never asked if I wanted to leave a tip or anything. I have been going to Amazing Lash in California for about 3 years but moved to the Houston area recently. I am not pleased with my experience at the Webster location. 1. First stylist in Webster barely said hello or made eye contact. Had her ear buds in for the entire appt, every single time. 2. Second stylist, Jade, is so much better! Unfortunately, I don't plan to return after December. I called because I was 2 minutes late and would be 3 minutes late on arrival. I was told I could not be seen because you cannot be even 1 minute late. I cannot wrap my head around that at all. I would have been early but someone pulling out of the McDonalds was blocking traffic and no one could get around. I was willing to pay $40 to have Jade attach 2-3 lashes to the inner corner of my eye. I guess they saved me the extra cost. Very unfortunate. I am always early or on time for my appts and I tip well. They can say goodbye to my $110 monthly membership fees. read more

The eyelash tech was very rude and unprofessional as were many of the other employees and management nowhere to be found on numerous occasions. I no longer felt comfortable letting them work on my face so i requested other ways of compensation but they Would not credit or give me a refund when i went in store to talk to them. This is one of the cleanest amazing lashes I've been to- and I've been to them all over Texas! The front desk has always been very welcoming and friendly. My master stylist took her time and cleaned up the extra growth I had and was very knowledgeable, I also really liked how light her hands were when she was placing my extensions on- one of the better lash artists I've used in the past 3 years. I use a master stylist, 6D volume/glamorous lashes, and am aware of the upcharges for these services- totally worth it! I had my lashes done at the Bay area location, the Friday before Memorial Day and they didn't even last until Memorial Day. Not only that this has been the most uncomfortable lash service that I've ever received. I have been getting my lashes done for years now and I never experienced this much discomfort. From the time she started applying the lashes my eyes were burning, I told her several times that it was burning but she offered no type of comfort, she told me that there was nothing that she could do about the burning, she didn't try to fan it or even say sorry. I noticed the same day that I got my lashes done that a lot of the lashes were shedding much more than normal but I said maybe it would stop by day 2. It continued to shed on day 2 and by day 3 90% of my lashes were gone. I initially called on day 2 because it was obvious that it wasn't applied correctly my friends didn't believe me when I said I had a full install done 2 days ago. I've been coming to this location for a long time and I have been pretty happy with their services but lately their customer service has been lacking. I had been scheduled earlier this week for a refill, during the Houston freeze my appointment was cancelled. I was called to reschedule knowing my appointment would now put me behind by a week (forcing me to do a full set vs a re-fill -AKA their fault). I drove 30+ minutes to make my appointment just to be turned away because they wouldn't give me a refill and didn't have time for a full set. Next time, a little more consideration of your members times would be greatly appreciated. Will be going to a new location ASAP. read more

So trying to get use to someone else is proving to be very difficult as so far I have not been happy with the results. Despite the few bad reviews I went to get my second full set. This time I booked with a master stylist and wanted a more dramatic look. She did warn me that the lashes might not last as long and damage my natural lashes due to the weight of them but as long as I took breaks it would be fine. The stylist was professional and quick and did exactly what I wanted. If you have lots of lashes they do take longer but it's worth it for the look you achieve. I will NEVER get eye lash extensions again. My lashes before I started getting them done were just fine. I had long full lashes, just not the overly exaggerated look you get from extensions. I continued to get them done for about six months. I got tired of the numerous, time consuming trips to the salon and they started to hurt me. I decided to have them removed and cancel my membership. The people that work there DO NOT warn you that with prolonged application of the extensions, your natural lashes will completely fall out and you will be left with short, stubby, almost nonexistent lashes! I was horrified at my lashes after I had the extensions removed! I made the mistake of getting a membership, which is a year long contract. A month after I canceled I got charged for my membership. I called to complain and was told that the charge would be reversed and received an apology. I was happy with this so I decided not to complain on Yelp about the damage to my real lashes. However, the charge never got reversed. I called to find out what was going on and was told that they charge you one last time as a cancellation fee. I told them no way, that is not acceptable! They said someone would get back to me. I'm still waiting for this phone call. First of all I was told the charge would be reversed and then it was not. Second of all, they ruined my lashes!!!! They should be paying me $50 not me paying them $50 to end the madness!!!! My recommendation to anyone who wants eye lash enhancements is to buy the eye lash serums that help your natural eyelashes grow longer and thicker. I had to buy this after the damage I suffered from the extensions. I am finally no longer embarrassed by my lashes after six weeks of nightly applications. It will probably be another 2-4 weeks before my lashes are back to normal. read more

After coming here for 7+ months now, I can easily say that I love my lashes! With the proper care, mine last looking great for 3-4 weeks, after which I come in for a refill. The membership is well worth the price for the once per month refills (rarely I'll have two in one month due to a wedding or long trip). The stylists vary. My favorite is Lily, who I book with almost exclusively. Twice she was unavailable. The first time I had a great stylist as well, but the second time the stylist was very rough and actually kept pulling on my lashes painfully. She seemed new though so perhaps that was an anomaly. The front desk/reception ladies aren't always the warmest but they get the job done. I notice the phone goes unanswered whenever I call in, but when I'm there in person they always seem to answer. I try to just book my appointments ahead of time in person. They do answer messages on here should you want to try that route! I recommend if you want gorgeous, easy lashes. It's made my makeup routine far faster. Definitely grab some lash applicator on Amazon to extend the lifespan between refills and lash brush to comb them each morning. read more

They didn't come out to my standards and when I went in for my correction visit I was told by the second stylist I should've went a different way to get the eyelashes I wanted and was told they couldn't do anything for me because they were so new. I just wish the stylist I had would've communicated with me on how I should've went about to get the eyelashes I wanted before it was too late to correct it. I had came here once earlier this year, it wasn't bad but it just seemed that the store was ran by a bunch of young girls that didn't care about informing the customers of after care or their membership program. However, I received a text that they were under New Management so I decided why not try again.. BIG DIFFERENCE! The girls up front were different and seemed to actually enjoy their jobs. The manager was up front as well. We made small talk about our plans for the holidays, Black Friday shopping, and just what type of lashes we like and don't like. This was the most HORRIBLE experience that I have ever had at this location. I am only giving one star because I have to in order to place the review. Let me explain. I had an appointment with Kimber, who by the way is AMAZING, at 4:40 on Saturday for a full set because it had been longer than 4 weeks since my last refill. I arrived just in time to check in. I walked up and the girl at the front totally ignored me until I said to her I was there to check in. She looked up at me with the worst face and said okay, which I responded to by saying that I was going to the ladies room. When I returned, I was standing in the lobby for 9 minutes, now past my appointment time, and I asked if she was running late. The girl proceeded to say "yeah because the last appointment, ok no, the last last appointment was 15 minutes late and she still took her." Trying to blame Kimber for this. When they double book Kimber on a regular basis. This is not the first time that this had happened either, but it will be my last. Almost every time I come in, they have double booked my appointment time with Kimber and I have to wait as munch as 45 minutes past my scheduled time to be seen. I proceeded to ask the girl to cancel my account and she said she couldn't, I asked for a refund of the amount I had prepayed for my session, and she said she couldn't do gang either. Then she got the customer service manager in the phone and she stated she couldn't help me either. While I was on the phone 2 more women walked in with complaints, one of which was booked at the same time that I was with Kimber. At the end of the day I had to call my credit card company and block the merchant so they wouldn't continue to charge my card for service NOT rendered. This lost ion is the worst! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE OTHER COMMITMENTS! read more

I booked an appointment through Yelp, showed up for the appointment only to find out they had no idea I booked anything, nor were they even concerned. I let it slide, booked for a different day and time and not with the girl I originally planned on using. Michelle was very thorough on my right eye, but I guess rearranging my back meant my left eye didn't get as much attention. My left eye was nearly half of my right eye. Also, I'm not sure if the language barrier had anything to do with it, but she didn't even give me instruction on how to care for them. Didn't inform me to brush them or even use a special make up remover. Also, the front desk didn't even try to have me book another appointment. I'm not sure if I have a membership or not, or if they even care if I return. I'm going to check out the bay colony location before I return to this one. Driving a little further for potentially better customer service might be worth it. read more

I have been coming for about 6 months to this location. Katie is who I use. She is the best. I should have rated 5 stars but they recently changed the eyelash to a different brand. These new ones look like fake lashes verses the one they used before looked much natural. The new ones falls out much quicker. I called 8 days after installing them thinking it had been longer but no. 8 days and already my lashes looked really bad. I don't understand why they changed the lash to something different.
