I went in for my brows to be threaded, face and neck wax since it's what I usually do with my usual place but decided to try it here, I was taken to a room to get my face waxed first and was burned all over my chin and the side by my eye. I understand it happens sometimes but what I'm upset about is the complete lack of accountability. The woman I got kept dismissing my concern saying it'll go away even tried to say I was breaking out ? I specifically waited 3 days to share my review so I had pics of my burns so she would know she did burn me. On top of this I paid SIXTY $60.00 DOLLARS. Obviously I asked for a refund on the face wax as I was unhappy and she refused saying they don't do that and whatever I'll take my L I got scammed but beware. I've been getting my face waxed and brows threaded over two years, every 2 weeks and this has never happened to me before. I'm not on retinol and am not using any skin products other than soap and water. Which she also tried gas lighting me saying I should've known I had sensitive skin and probably use to have acne and that's why this happened which made no sense to me. If I could give this place Zero stars for my experience today 02/25/25 I definitely would. So I've been here all of a good 7 times to see Angie and I loved her service. I came in today and I asked the lady there (which is the owner Angie's sister) was Angie there today? She then ask me "How do you know Angie" in a rude manner, so I'm like because she's done my brows multiple times?? Thinking in the back of my head like "how else" I let that slide then I sit down and she proceeds to start on my brows, I tell her that I want them cleaned up and to keep my natural shape! So she starts and then she stops about a couple minutes into the service and she asked did I want her to clean up the top of my brow, I then said once again I just want to to clean them up and make them really neat just please keep my natural shape. She then stops and goes "just so you know I'm the one that trained Angie because you seem skeptical about me doing your brows" I'm really taken back because what?? I politely told her I didn't ask her that I don't know why she stopped the service to tell me that. She then keeps trying to go back and forth and I told her the back and forth is unnecessary just finish my eyebrows please! Then after she finishes we go to the register and of course I didn't leave her a tip, she then goes to say "Angie is my sister and I don't want you back here" so you ban me because I spoke up? I've said nothing but good things about this place, even made a viral video to support! Crazy thing is I've never talk to this lady when I go I ask for Angie and keep it moving. Then when I asked for powder so my skin wouldn't break out she said no you will sneeze when I asked a second time she said they don't even have powder in store. Wanted to loop my Yelp friends in on some info I just learned. I've been a client here for over a year now and last time I was there (last month), I was able to go on a random weekday, and Naz did my full face threading. All the ladies there typically do a good job but she did an amazing job and I really liked her work. When I told her how much I liked her work, she said that she typically works on weekends and gave me a card to make an appointment with her next time. Today, I called the store bc I lost the card, and they gave me a number to TEXT for an appointment with Naz. I texted and after 5 minutes of a ridiculous text exchange with a random person, I was told Naz doesn't do full face threading (which she did for me last time) and that she does eyebrows only. When I asked "is this a joke?" The response I received was "no man, it's not, this is how she works!" So, as much as I used to love this place, I don't think this is the type of service anyone should expect. Lots of other threading salons in the area and I'm sure other threading specialists who are just as good as Naz. It's a bummer but it was out of my way and I was still willing to make the drive there. The woman who threaded my brows was very friendly. She just seemed like a really nice person. My eyebrows weren't perfect but they were still nice. They were clean and she didn't take off too much hair. Lately, when I've been getting my eyebrows done, I tell the person I'm working with not to touch my uni-brow. I rather take care of it myself. Some people ignore my request. The woman at this salon was tempted to because she asked if she can clean it just a little bit. I said no, and unlike others, she resisted the temptation. I really loved this place! I was kind of nervous about getting my brows threaded at first. It was my first time, and I'd heard about the pain it can cause, and I was nervous that my eyebrows would end up "too perfect" and throw off my "this is what was clean, deal with it" look. When I walked in, the technician (?) was working on another woman's threading, and greeted me. She didn't direct me to go sign in, but I read from another review on here that that was the thing to do. I wasn't waiting very long before she was done with the woman and was calling my name. When I went to sit down, she didn't ask which service I wanted, just assumed I was there for threading (did my natural brows look that bad!?), so it was lucky I was. The "discomfort" is definitely there, but I have a high pain tolerance, so I was alright. If you are more sensitive to pain, I would suggest maybe a couple Advil before coming. The good thing is the pain doesn't last long, so that makes it better. I would say I was in and out in around 10 minutes, which was really convenient, and I think $10 is a pretty fair price. My eyebrows look so much better, but it's a very subtle look, which I'm really happy with :) read more

This is a great place to get your eyebrows done. The parking situation is not so great, but it usually isn't so busy that there are no spots. If you go during an off time, there usually is no line, but the line can get quite long (5-6 people in front of you) during busier times. They do a great job of achieving the look that I want, shaping them evenly, making them look like they actually are a matching set of eyebrows, etc. I like that they take their time and make sure the end result is actually good. I'm always super nervous to try a new eyebrow place, but I picked this one after I moved to Dallas because of the other great Yelp reviews on here, and I was glad I did! It's always close to so many good places to eat, so you grab something to eat afterwards as well :) Tip: if you get aloe at the end, they give you a tiny mini head massage :) but the aloe does make your skin redder for a bit, so you walk out the salon a bit tender looking. read more

I asked for very thick because I was still trying to regrow out my brows and she took off a lot more than I wanted. Worse than that they were extremely uneven on the top and the only way to even it would be to take even more off the other side which I didn't want to do. I was so disappointed in my first experience here, I don't think I'll be back to give them another shot. Pros: very clean and organized, cheap, convenient, easy to find, plenty of parking, quick Use the computer screen to sign yourself in. Even though I went on a weekday and it was completely empty, they still wanted me to sign in. Not sure why but not a big deal. The reason I'm so unhappy is my brows did not come out looking symmetrical, they were two different shapes and TBH did not seem like she did anything at all to clean it up or give them any kind of shape. One brow had more arch than the other and she took way too much off one and not enough off the other. It was terrible. The location, while very convenient, is a tad sketchy. A guy who seemed to be homeless showed up out of nowhere and was literally lying on the sidewalk out front with his suitcase while I walked out and asked for some cash. He wasn't there when I walked in. I know other people have a had a good experience here and based off the Yelp reviewers is why I went to try it out, but unfortunately was really disappointed. This place is great! The prices are reasonable, the ladies are skilled, and the customer service is unmatched. I went by today and the shop had lost power. Since I am on my way out of town for the next 10 days I really needed to get threaded and these ladies opened up, pulled out their cell phones, and still did an AMAZING job via cell phone flashlights. ***A quick tip for newcomers, when you walk in, find the keypad at the front counter and follow the directions to check in. I was not greeted when I walked in nor did I see a sign on what to do, so I sat down on the couch to wait. Luckily for me, someone was behind me and after they checked in, I followed the lead. Overall, I had a good first time experience here. There place is pretty simple, there were two ladies available for threading. When I arrived, I waited about 5 minutes before getting my brows done. I sat in the chair and she asked what I like. . . .as a first timer this made me slightly nervous, but everything turned out perfect and my brows look great!! I was in and out in about 15 minutes. You cannot beat the price either-- $10 for brow threading!!! That's enough to make anyone return after a good first time experience. I like threading better than waxing because it is more precise and gives you a cleaner look, not to mention, the hairs stay away longer than when you wax. Parking is easy too, right in front of the salon. Easy in, easy out, friendly, fast and convenient service, gotta love that. read more

$10 eyebrow threading. My technician did a great job - I actually received several compliments on my eyebrows afterwards. When does that ever happen? I walked in and only had to wait a few minutes for the tech to finish another patron. My brows took 10 minutes (and it hurts, by the way. It was my first time.). They have a loyalty rewards punch card and do offer other services like facials, waxing, lash tints. My eyebrows look fantastic. Nazarene used to always trim my hair while there, but it seems she no longer works in the salon, which is unfortunate because she always did the best work! The other ladies that I've had thread my eyebrows do good work and the prices are standard in the area, so I leave pleased every time. I am soooooo sad right now. I just left this place and have uneven eyebrows that I now have to sport at a wedding in Cancun this weekend. I went here for the first time today only because I was in the areas and the reviews were pretty good about the eyebrow threading but it was awful. I had been letting my brows grow for over a month so I could get them "professionally" done and now I'm literally crying that she over threaded one! I don't know her name but she was the only one there right now. She tried to say it was because my left eyebrow was lighter, which it isn't as full as my right so yeah, but I was pointing out the width! She offered to shade my thin eye row in but I told her no. This salon has the worst customer service! I was told that they only accept appointments when I drove all the way there so I reach out to the number they provided me and instead of giving me an appointment with the person (Nas) who is recommended by several other customers and who I personally only trust to do my brows. They tell me that Nas does not do full face threading and also begin to question me on whether or not I have been there before or ever seen Nas in the past. WHY DOES IT MATTER?!? I am a customer calling to make an appointment for a service. Supposedly that's what your in the business to do. Long story short GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Naz, the owner, is fantastic. Always does a great job, naturally there is often a line of people waiting for her on weekends. She took my terribly plucked eyebrows and transformed it into shapely womanly brows. Amrita & Bimla are really nice - polite, do a good job, provide a little head massage at the end. Too bad they only work on weekdays. I wish they could be there on Saturdays when it is sooo busy. Most importantly, I experience the least pain with them. Dudes visit the salon too in case you're wondering Parking situation is good. Never had to worry about parking. The membership is worth your money if you are a hairy monster like me (Indian girls unite) and have to keep getting your hair threaded. With a membership I pay $20 pre-tip for upper lip, eyebrow threading and armpit wax (TMI, i know) combined. My only complaint is that memberships run on a calendar year. So whether I buy it on 1/1 or 6/1 it expires on 12/31. I pay $25 regardless but get less value for it. This could be a limitation of their tracking software...but I'd like to get a full year's bang for my buck. read more

I have been coming here for 3 years and am very pleased with their threading services. I breakout from waxing and have found that threading is best for my facial hair removal. The owner is incredible! She has been threading for years and years and it shows. Virtually painless and you are in and out in under 15 minutes. Call ahead and see how busy they are and make an appointment. The Uptown location is now closed and their Lemmon location is super convenience with lots of parking. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. ~EYEBROW TINT~ I have never got my eyebrows tinted so when I explained to the lady I just wanted them filled she made them so dramatic and so much thicker. This was right before a family wedding too! I specifically told her I wanted a "natural" look and I came out with the most dramatic eyebrows I've ever seen. ~EYELASHES~ I have never, ever had fake eyelashes before, but this was probably the most traumatic experience yet. When the lady was applying the eyelashes the glue seeped through my eyelids- burning that I had no control to stop. I thought maybe, it was just an accident (how was I suppose to know) then she did my other eye and the same thing. She rushed to get this little fan to help with the burning, but I was an excruciating pain. After all that hassle the eyelashes didn't even last one day when I was told it would last "two weeks." To top it off - after properly trying to remove them my eyelashes were coming off with the fake ones. I didn't know what to expect, I guess It was naive of me to put my complete trust in these people. read more
