I was able to get into chair. The massage feature felt great as I have spinal pain issues. They also accommodated me by doing everything from this chair. The manicure part the man stood the whole time I felt for his feet and even asked if he wanted to take a break. My experience for the first time in a long time was good and I will be back. This last visit, I asked for a ANC black and red ombré, but instead one color was done with ANC and the second color was done with gel. I still paid full price expecting quality work. Hit or miss in terms of technicians but the hits are outta the ballpark. Amazingly clean and comfortable, with very reasonable prices and excellent hours. My favorite is their online booking system. I get ANC manicures and regular pedicures. The pedicure isn't anything to write home about (it's fine, but not the best in the area) but the manicures are consistently high quality. Amazing Nail Art was my go-to for two years living in upstate NY, and after moving back home to NJ I wanted to post an updated comprehensive review after going many times after! Overall, Nina has been my favorite nail tech - she's super nice and detail-oriented and I've never been unhappy when she has done my nails. She works so hard and I hope y'all tip her well!! However, I've had two other nail techs here when I forgot to ask for Nina, and I wasn't as satisfied - there were many times where my nails were clearly uneven in length, or not filed well However, I've learned to communicate what I want!! If something looks wonky to me, I will say so even if it takes more time, and I HIGHLY encourage y'all to do so if you don't feel good about it. For background, I have gotten ANC (dip powder) and tips (often) almost every time, which is $40, plus $5 for a unique shape and an extra $5 if you want more than 3 colors (I believe). If I'm going to pay this amount plus a tip, I want to be happy. I have also got my eyebrows waxed here, which Nina did. They came out a little thin but they grew on me (literally and I ended up liking the shape) - but again, communicate clearly what you want! I've also gotten a pedicure (basic) twice here for $29, both with new nail techs and it came out great both times. I've also taken friends here and they all were very satisfied, whether with ANC or gel or basic manicures or pedicures. I made appointments directly through Yelp for the most part and Yuan was super helpful and fast every time. ALSO, use your punch card!! You get a free manicure if you fill all your punches. Sadly, I got all my punches before moving back home so I'll have to plan a trip at some point... Overall in my opinion, great prices for good services. My sister and I tried this salon for the very first time for a quick manicure. The salon is clean and the staff is very friendly, they got us in right away. Helen did an ANC manicure on my sister, and did a beautiful job. I asked for an acrylic full set and was far from impressed. Alex did my nails and seemed to be in a rush from the start. I wanted pretty short nails in a 'squoval' shape.. he did one exactly as I wanted and the rest seemed to get longer and longer. Since they were much longer than anticipated, I asked if we could do a coffin shape instead and he replied no. The acrylic was laid on thick and not buffed smoothly, so my nails have an uneven bumpy texture and were filed unevenly/slanted. The salon seems like it has a couple hidden gem nail techs, but it's not worth going back and finding someone who pays attention to detail and is accommodating. read more

I come back in, nail tech accuses of biting my nails over and over even though I definitely don't. He was rude all together, burned me with the drill. All around bad experience. What a first class operation! The owner is clearly caught up with the times. You can make your appointment on Yelp. She responded to my request for an appointment very quickly. That was truly appreciated. The inside is clean and modern looking. The owner, who also did my pedicure was very caring and thorough. I've been twice to get a pedicure here since Covid started. Both times they asked me to wash my hands upon arrival and sat me in a chair behind plexiglass. Kudos to social distancing and great hygiene practices. The first pedi was with a guy who cut my cuticle at the start, then proceeded with the pedicure and late tried to file it. Ouch. The rest of the pedi was decent. Overall it was nice and the place is super cute. My second pedi was with a woman who didn't cut me, thankfully. But she also didn't seem too interested in doing my pedicure. It came out fine but I didn't get the neck/back massage from her that I did the first time as I sat drying. Which, btw, she sat me at the dryer and turned on the nail dryer. I realized and turned on the toe dryer and it was all good. They do get A+ for responsiveness--they immediately chatted back through the Yelp app when I contacted them to schedule an appointment. You ask why I returned when they cut me originally? Not impressed. It's not even a week and a half later and my gel manicure is already lifting and peeling. The color was not even close to what I picked from the sample and incredibly spotty. It's almost as if the tech didn't want to use too much polish so the color was not even. The pedicure was very relaxing and he did a great job with that but the manicure is horrible. I have had 3 nail appointments at your nail salon.  The safety and cleanliness of your salon is excellent. But the services have been seriously disappointing.  The first one was the hot stone massage pedicure. It felt more like a rub and not a massage. But I gave the salon another visit hoping it would improve. The next pedicure was no better and the nail of my large toe was filed with a big ridge that I still have. I came yesterday for a mani/pedi.  The mani was ok, but the shaping of my nails was poor, one nail has a rough edge. The pedi was a serious disappointment.  It was a $39 pedi and lasted about 10 minutes.  There was no massage, a rub in of a lotion and removal of heel callus only. I paid $54 and the mani tech (they switched off on me) asked if I was going to tip the pedicure tech. I have always tipped well, but never have been asked for a tip. I said I was very disappointed with the pedicure.  After my nails dried I was going to tip the mani tech as she was ok, other than asking for a tip for the pedi tech.  I did not see her so I did not. But I will not return to this salon for all the above reasons and also compared to other salons they do not make it a nice experience. Other salons do a nice massage of legs, feet or arms. They assist with the nail dry timing (there was no clock visible, so I had to check my phone for the time). I had to remove the slippers trying not to damage my polish.  Other salons offer a nice neck shoulder massage at the end. I have always tipped the techs well and felt bad not to be able to.  I don't know if the salon has poor nail techs or directs them to do the services this way. I saw 4+ stars so expected good service. I will look for a new salon. read more

I went in and was able to get a walk in appointment right away which was GREAT. However the man who did my pedicure only put one coat of polish on. It is very see through and definitely could have used a second coat before the clear coat. The polish also doesn't go all the way to my cuticle. This place has been my go to nail place for a while and I love how you can book an appointment online and they usually do a pretty good job. But after today I will not be returning. The color that I chose for my anc on the example nail was filled in all the way but what I received was opaque and you can see my tips and my natural nail through. When I called telling them I was very unhappy with how they turned out, especially for the price I paid as they charge for nail shapes other than square, I was told they wouldn't do anything as that was the color I picked and I would have to pay if I wanted to get anything changed. If I had known my nails would turn out the way they did, I would have chosen a different color or not come here at all. I am very disappointed. read more

I am new to the area and I've been looking for a decent place to get my nails done but this place is definitely not it. I called and scheduled an appointment for 5:30pm and wasn't even seen until almost 6:15. Not only did I have to wait a ridiculous amount of time but other customers were coming into the salon and asking for the same service that I scheduled for and we're being seated before me. One girl showed up 10 minutes late for her appointment and they immediately seated her and started working on her nails. When I finally was seated I still had to wait over 10 minutes to be seen at this point I was there for over an hour before anyone had even started working on my nails. I always get a acrylic fill with gel polish and when I left the salon all of my nails were uneven in length, size and 3 of them were crooked. When I finally left I had been there for over 2 hours and at that point just wanted to go home. When I gave the nail tech the tip he opened it and counted all of the bills in front of me and then scarfed. The whole time I was there the workers were nothing but rude to me and I could only assume it was because that I was not a regular. I tried to stay positive throughout the whole experience but I ended up leaving the nail salon in tears after the way that they treated me. Unless you want to be treated horribly and not even leave with a good set of nails I would not recommend going here. read more
