Dr Baurmash treated her in two phases and my daughter finally was released from care when she was 14 years old with a big, beautiful smile. At the same time our family relocated from New Jersey to Arizona. I had two other children that needed orthodontic care and I had interviewed a number of Arizona orthodontists and had grave concerns. I knew what to expect and what they were prescribing was not what Dr Baurmash had done for my oldest daughter. One orthodontist even suggested surgery. Dr Baurmash went out of her way to seek out and interview a number of orthodontists in my area of Arizona and she found a practice that was a perfect fit for my two younger children. Fast forward now to 2019 and my oldest daughter who completed all her care with Dr Baurmash in New Jersey,is 25 years old, living and working in San Diego, California. She went to a local dentist, the first on her own and she just called me laughing about how Gugu gaga he was over what he called her perfect orthodontia. He got all geeky and technical in explaining his excitement over the perfection of what had been done to her pallet, her bite and her teeth. He told her that hers was the best orthodontic work he had ever seen. That's Dr Baurmash for you. She went above and beyond to help me when I was no longer a paying customer and now all these years later we come to find out that she was even more exceptional than we already thought she was.

He is on track for needing them only 2 years (over a year in now). This contrasts with some of the other orthodontists and pediatric dentists that i have encountered who seem intent on keeping their patients locked into expensive care for as long as possible. The office is divided in two spaces; area for adults and another area for children. When you walk in the waiting area it is bright and spacious, which included an easel, small table for writing, tv, and stuffed animals. After filling out the paper, Dr. Lam made his presence known as he formally introduced himself to us and our toddler. He sat down and spoke with us about his special technique with young children . At least 15-20 minutes later, my toddler had warmed up to him. We then walked to exam room and of course she was hesitant, however, she cooperated with them. They were able to get an X ray and he was able to examine her teeth with some coaching/sweet talk. Did she cry? Yes! Did she clench her mouth closed? Yes! Did they get the job done? Yes! I noticed she did less kicking, shouting, and screaming compared to last dental visit elsewhere. When finished she sat in the exam chair and played with the stuffed animals. I believe Dr. Lam is gifted and he is worth every penny that the insurance doesn't want to cover! I'm pleased with the services provided at The Gallery of Smiles and of course we will return.

I normally love going to the dentist, but this office gave my family one of the worst experiences…read morewe've ever had. During my cleaning, the dentist caused horrible pain to my teeth -- something I've never experienced before at any other office. That alone made me switch dentists. Even worse, my fiancée was in severe pain with her teeth, and the office would not see her for two weeks. They ignored how much pain she was in, and by the time they finally scheduled her, she ended up needing an emergency root canal on the spot. A month later, she experienced another awful toothache, and instead of seeing her, they just wanted to give her pain medication and delay treatment again. They didn't return her calls promptly, and when they finally did, they still scheduled her days out. We nearly went to the emergency room, but thankfully we found a new dentist who took her in immediately. It turned out her filling had broken, her tooth was decaying, and the infection had spread into her gum, cheek, and almost up to her nose. SHE HAD A SECOND EMERGENCY ROOT CANAL!!! That pain should never have been ignored. No dentist should ever refuse to treat a patient in that much pain. This office was dismissive, unresponsive, and neglectful. Stay away from this place!!!!
