You can leave & come back, wait in your vehicle, or wait patiently in the waiting room. Make sure you check in before the staff leave. The doctors and nurses are good. The doctors seem to perform physical tests on their patients instead of guesstimating what he/she knows what is wrong. It depends which doctor for which day is going to be the most helpful. If you need physical therapy you'll be placed at this clinic or the one on Swingle. I'm not entirely sure how that is determined. A dental appointment is far more difficult to get calling the last four 4243 numbers. Though if you get through it will be here where you're treated (walk in to your left). Copays are required.

She's almost always the youngest person there but she's an old soul so has made some special friends while spending several hours per infusion anywhere from 1-3x/wk for anywhere from 1 week to 9 months (the longest ever which we hope never happens again to her!). They relocated from an old, depressing space in the main hospital to this newly remodeled space in the medical clinic maybe a year and half or so ago and it's so much nicer! All the nurses are wonderful! They always do their best for my daughter. They are mother-like to her so I don't even go in anymore because both of us trust them to take great care of her and treat her with dignity. Something often tends to go wrong with the initial orders and they are so helpful getting it resolved. My daughter hasn't needed IV saline therapy for a long time, thankfully, but it was wonderful coming in to find the familiar, caring nurses still working in this department.

There was no issue with Dr. Quraishi, but his assistant did not like the fact my father did not speak English well. When my parents talked to the " Rude One," we'll all call her and asked if there was anyone in the clinic that could assist with translating for a bit. She gave parents the worst attitude and service and just a negative vibe. This is my father's first-time battling stage 2 colon cancer, and the last thing he needs is to worry about to assistant that seems high on her horse and not empathetic to the doctor's patients. It appears that she hated her job and hated everyone there. If you hate your job, quit!!! They finally got a young lady who spoke Spanish to help, and she said that that is the "Rude One's" normal behavior. My mother also was so bothered but to not stir things, she remains silent, but I can not. I can't stand for this injustice to happen innocent people who are guess what are US tax paying citizens. My father has been living here since the 60's longer than that girl has been alive. Doctor Mohammed Quraishi, please check your staff before I report to the EEOC or some other agency. Show some darn compassion. Communication doesn't just have to be with what you are comfortable with, be creative. Think of the patients with cancer; Cancer doesn't have a language.

Michael started off by getting me lean for a fitness photo shoot and I couldn't believe that I didn't have to diet as hard and miserably like all of my previous coaches had me doing. My meal plan involved lots of good/healthy fats and carbs. There is lots of variety and there is something to be said about his patience with me on foods I don't like and how to workout around my super hectic schedule. I have since then adopted him as my person mentor. When he began seeing Michael, he was on insulin and 70 pounds overweight. After a year [maybe less, actually], he was at 6% body fat, exercising regularly and so much happier. And hot. Very, very hot. Bonus. As to my experience, he was able to help me and our 14 year old daughter learn how to read food product labels, understand what they are really indicating about the 'food' in the container and how that affects the body. Thinking in terms of physiology and body chemistry and how it works or hurts. He was able to offer better meal suggestions even for our super-choosey eater who believed she could live on chicken nuggets, chocolate and mac n cheese alone. And she actually liked some of them. SHOCKER. While pregnant the last time around, which was ironically not very long ago, I had some worries about avoiding gestational diabetes and keeping my blood pressure where it needed to be. I went to see him and asked about some specific issues and he was able to point to what I was eating and offer suggestions to get the changes I wanted to see. Following the meal plan and suggestions he made, I didn't develop either of those issues, nor any others and ended up giving his contact info to my midwives. I have referred friends struggling with all sorts of body, food and beverage issues. Every one of them has had a positive experience. So my point in writing this review is to express the sheer diversity of counsel that Michael can offer. In my family, those of us who are grateful for this represent: - pregnant women aiming for healthy babies and natural births - choosey teens who need to learn what they can tolerate and still achieve some sort of balanced nutrition and - adult men who want to want to refocus and see real health and muscle mass results Our family loves Michael Florida and what he has been able to do for us.
