Excellent service and delicious food. We ordered churrasco on the grill (a labrasa) with congri and tostones. Very tasty and excellent beef.

The drive was about 45 minutes for us, and I definitely recommend purchasing tickets online and downloading the zoo app ahead of time the map in the app was super helpful while walking the grounds. There was plenty of parking, which made arrival easy. Because the weather was cooler earlier in the day, some of the animals weren't out, but we still enjoyed seeing the ones that were. We stopped by a stand and grabbed spiked slushies, and let me tell you they were realllllllyyyyy good! Especially once the day heated up, they were very refreshing as we walked around. The zoo offers several ways to get around, including guided golf cart tours, a mini train, and cycle cart rentals. We decided to skip those and just get our steps in instead, which worked out nicely. We had a great time with the animals we did get to see, though we only managed to cover about half of the zoo before the little one was ready to head out. We'll definitely be back to finish exploring!

I LOVE sharing my love for Zoo Miami with my family. We are members and go often. A perfect day includes taking portraits, face painting, bike rentals, a food crawl through the zoo with a zoo brew, and a glimpse into animals of the world. There is something so everyone here. It's so fun to do something different each time you go... sometimes it's fun just to rent a pedal boat and hang out on the lake. There is a park for kids and 2 splash pads. One near the park and the other in the Amazon. What I love about zoo Miami is that you an experience the zoo a different way every time you come. They also host seasonal evening events. Don't miss Zoo Lights, the Annual Zoo Run, or Feast with the Beast. I wish I could post 50 more pictures. Visit the zoo you won't regret it. And if you're lucky you will run into Ron McGill.

Each show is on a set schedule so you walk from location to location every 15 to 30 minutes. They have a cool dolphin show, and fun/informational shows with sea lions, parrots, turtles, crocodiles, and fish/sharks/rays. The dolphin show was the highlight watching them do tricks and interacting with the trainer in the water. There's a small beach area where you can interact with some fish by feeding them. They say there's a swimming area but I didn't see anywhere I'd swim. They have a gift shop at the entrance and a couple of beverage/snack huts mixed in with the show locations. It can be warm/humid so plan accordingly.

Boy were we wrong! Clearly these trainers have been working hard to teach new tricks. The dolphins in the show are the biggest dolphins we have ever seen (and we see them a LOT here in Florida). Years ago we paid extra to swim with dolphins. All I can say is those dolphins you swim with are NOT this big. If they were, everyone would be afraid! The ones in the show are massive and that muscle translates into some of the most spectacular jumping moves anywhere. Don't think twice about paying the admission for this attraction. Besides the Dolphins, the Sea Lion and Parrot shows are fun too (tip: ask them to turn on the fans in the Parrot tent, it gets hot!). Even if you've been here many times before, we strongly encourage you to revisit this place if only for the Dolphin Show. Congrats to the trainers. Those dolphins clearly love what they do. Bravo!

A sweet delight that I think everyone associates with the fair. It is VERY buttery, so that could be a turn off visually to some. I also order the Doritos loco chicken on a stick. Pleasantly surprised with the flavor profile of this. As the name suggests, it's a chicken pierced by a stick. It is fried, and covered with liquid cheese and Doritos crumbs. While unhealthy, it was super delicious. The last item is the one I was most excited for, but unfortunately I would never get again. I heard from some friends that the Birria Ramen was great. Unfortunately, it was overly salty. They use the $1 Marucha ramen cups that you get at Publix, and they put birria mix in it. The taste was overwhelming. I would rate 3/10. Overall, despite me only coming for the food. The FAIR is a fun place to bring the family. It has varies rides, and activities to take advantage of.

To drink, I had the freshly squeezed lemonade in the novelty cup which offers discounted refills (definitely worth it, definitely recommend. Wonderfully refreshing for this FL hot days). If you're like me, who are not there for the rides, do not pass on the shows. The ice skating in particular was so much fun, and so entertaining; good for the whole family. Parking is free, but there is a 'preferred ' parking option where you pay to park closer. I used the free parking but I got there at 2:00pm so the walk wasn't bad. Definitely bring a hat, and possibly one of those portable fans (I did). The heat is no joke and there is limited shade.

It's clearly geared toward kids, but we still had a good time as adults. We were able to pet the goats and sheep and talk with one of the staff members, who was friendly, patient, and happy to answer our questions. It made the visit feel welcoming rather than just a quick walk-through. There are a few growing pains, it seems. Some areas could use clearer signage, and the place felt a bit understaffed at times but nothing that ruined the experience. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit. Adults will enjoy it, and kids will almost certainly love it.

They like to keep you busy because we arrived just before noon and they had an alligator feeding at noon. They have a breeding pond with over 200 alligators, about five females to every one male. The feeding show took about 10 minutes and included some education about alligators and their breeding practices. We headed to the boat loading area and loaded up. We enjoyed a 20 minute airboat ride, mostly at high speeds, with some 360 and 180 degree turns. They warn that you will get wet and the front seats are the wettest. This is not a ride to see alligators. There are companies geared toward that elsewhere. This is more for the thrill. They also provide ear protection. Afterward, we grabbed some fried gator nuggets and walked around the park. They have baby gators, snakes and reptiles, emus, birds, and other animals that you can check out. They also have some encounters that you can pay extra for, but these also require paying admission. Then they had another show at 1pm, which included some gator wrestling, which basically was gentle and alligator friendly. They then offered people the chance to hold a baby gator at the end. It was a great experience and worth the $36.
