It was funny this RV park was just a place for us to wait a few days before we were able to get to another RV park closer to the Basque Block. We didn't have any expectations but we really loved Hi Valley RV Park!! We appreciated how quiet it was and all the staff members were helpful and friendly. 2 stars. Very tight small sites. You are on top of your neighbors. Your awning and slideouts are inches from touching each other. There are a lot, and I mean a lot, like 150 or more full timers here! This is not a resort, it's a trailer park with a handful of weekenders spots. There is a nice dog area. There is a pool, and hot tub. Laundry facility and club room. Pool rules say adults only from 8pm to 10 pm, but I saw families in the pool every night after 8pm Most sites have hookups in the way back so be ready to need more cable, water and sewer hoses. They have wifi but it won't let you stream on your TV, they have it blocked. What little wifi we had wouldn't work, we had to use phone data and hotshots. It's not easy to get here either. You have to drive many miles through town to get here. Lots of traffic lights and turns. It's very inconvenient and out of the way. Close to stores though Try to find another rv place. The staff was nice and friendly. read more

We stayed here for a week and really liked it. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The pool is wonderful and they have toys for the kids to play with. The playground is small but perfect. They have two corn hole boards which is also nice. The bathrooms and showers are well maintained and they have ice for a reasonable price. When we entered the property we were greeted and shown to our site. Hook up was easy and power/water was good. I dinged it a star because of the site. I know it isnt their fault and every site can't be perfect, but I booked about six months out and I wish we would have known that all sites aren't the same. Some had grass and some had slab concrete. We got the slab with no shade. Our trailer was in the sun all day and it was hot. Others nearby got lucky and had both shade and grass. Again, no big deal, I will definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you! read more

So you are planning a trip into Boise in your RV and need a place to stay? Want to be central to Boise, Eagle, and Meridian? Want a safe, clean place that isn't a fortune? Need to stay for awhile? Call Hi-Valley. We booked a week here a little over a month ago. They are filling up fast and now are booked up through summer. I am sad/happy to continue on our trip but we really liked our one week stay. Here is the deal with this place. They have many residents here, most of the spots are filled with month to month renters. There are a little under 40 spots for short timers, or weekly renters. The full timers here are a mixed bunch of really nice and inviting people. I feel like this is a mix between retired folks, families, and working individuals. The place is run by some of the residents. I like the vibe here, it feels safe and friendly. The facilities are good with a big community club house (that resembles a living room, kitchen, and office), bathrooms with showers, a laundry room, small workout room, mail services, a dog park, playground, pool and spa. The park is all gravel and pavement with a few trees scattered about. The spaces are very close together but if you are in an RV, who cares? People are nice and it is a place to stay in a residential/ farm/ urban area so who is complaining about how much space you get here? The park backs up to a canal and you can take a walk along a path that runs parallel to it. If you need to get anywhere in the area, you are not far from it. The place is clean, safe, and a great place to call home for a day, a week or longer. read more

We stayed here for a month or so and it's a great place if you are over 70 years old and hate the sounds of children playing and laughing. We received numerous complaints about our kids as well as several other kids. Some of the complaints - kids were playing football in the street, kids were riding their bikes around trailers, kids were in the Rec room playing games and ate popcorn out of the popcorn machine. They actually started changing rules at the facility as to what the kids can and can't do as we were they when they got annoyed. I get it, kids can be very annoying but all that is there for them is a pathetic playground that looks like it's 25 years old. Other than that the place is pretty clean and staff takes care of propane and such pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend it if you don't have kids. read more

Family of 4, 35ft 5th wheel, stayed a few nights in July '21. Really nothing to gripe about or complain about. Clean RV park with clean showers and toilets. This was the best bathroom setup I've had in a long time, each toilet was fully enclosed with a locking door and each shower stall was also fully enclosed with a locking door. Showers were clean and drained well. Flat pull through spot with full hook ups. Internet worked for streaming. Sites are a little close together but we've had way worse. The pool and hot tub were clean. Kids loved the pool. Laundry was cheap here, so we did a load of laundry. It's quiet, even for the 4th of July. It's a great price for what you get and would stay here again. read more

Man at the front desk named John is very hard of hearing and doing business with him is a hard task if you need any real answers. The men who help at this park assume women are stupid and talk to woman as such. What a shame. I know Medicare pays for hearing aids and it is 2023. Woman own there ownrvs now a days. Large park with many long term residents. Clean, level spots, playground, small dog park. I was unable to get 1 spot for 2 nights, so had to move the second day. The first spot was a back in where there seem to be long term residents, so it was a bit tight. Staff expertly guided us into the spot and ensured there was enough room for the slide. We moved to the "overnighter' section the next morning. The space was a pull through, lots more room between spaces. Great, friendly staff, good WiFi. Recommend making reservations well in advance. Location is close to grocery store, gas and restaurants. $56.37 with Good Sam Discount. read more

This place is clean and well maintained, but I just had unpleasant exchange with Diane at the office. The circumstances of our reason for having to stay here have changed and we'd like to leave a day early even though prepaying for one more day. She was quite rude and dismissive with our request to have a refund for one day offering a BS reason why they couldn't. When I pressed about it she changed her story to they choose not to and she can't do anything about it. Which is also BS. Good customer service would be to talk to the manager to accommodate our request. They're not hurting for money and will have another RV in our spot since it's Friday night and they're booked. Men's from 6am to 7am Women's from 7 am to 8 am. Being even one minute late leaving the restroom earns a stern reprimand from the grumpy cleaning staff. Do not stay here if you plan to leave early and want to wash up first. While the fenced dog park is listed as off leash on park map. Supplemental dog rules clearly state that only leashed pets can use the off leash area This park, with more user friendly changes would earn a 4 to 5 star rating read more

I stayed here for 2 months with my wife, 4 year old daughter, and pets. I got the monthly rate of $390 which seems expensive, but I guess it's normal. The weekly and daily is much more. This place is very clean and the staff are great at taking care of everything. They are very nice, available, and helpful. The bathrooms, pool, hot tub, and everything is kept very clean. They guy who helps you back in your camper is amazing at his job. They fill up your propane and re-certify you tanks cheap and quick. They will help with all your hookups and even fill your tires up. What I did not like is while there are trees and grass, it feels like you are in a parking lot and very close to everyone. You really do not have any space at all so no one even spends any time outside their camper. One of my neighbors who lives there full time was constantly watching me. She made many comments which implied she was watching me a lot that made my wife and I feel a little uncomfortable to be outside our camper. Her boyfriend smoked a lot outside which was also annoying. Towards the end of my stay they told me they booked my spot which was annoying. I wish they would of talked to me to see how long I wanted to stay before that. I wanted to stay 10 more days which I also should of informed them sooner. I had to move to the weekly spots for my last 10 days which honestly seemed better. Funny thing is my old spot was empty for those 10 days after I had to leave it so I am wondering if it was even booked. This was probably because my neighbors complained about me being noisy. One time I was talking on the phone at 11PM in my camper and an employee knocked on my door and told me I was keeping my neighbors up. You have to stay very quiet after 10PM . read more

Best customer service at an RV park I've seen. They pick up your propane and fill it. The only negative thing is their WiFi. You get a max speed of 10mps down and 2 up. We paid a high price to be here for 10 days in May. The extended stay neighbor was rude about our dogs. Which are never a problem and we ALWAYS follow the rules. Then my daughter who had a tiny trailer on the back of her car traveling thru all the way from TN parked out of the way and twice a grounds person came to our lot and said her car would get a boot if it wasn't moved. Mind you she had been here for a few hours and wasn't staying the night. But no person ever said anything about all the cars in the parking spaces up front. Then when we asked for extended stay when we first made the reservations they advised no availability, the spot across from us stayed empty the entire time. Too expensive, to rude, only cater to their "already placed" extended stayers! Disappointed for the $500 they got out of us. Wouldn't recommend unless you just are coming for a night or two. read more

Stayed one week. Hot tub was not working upon arrival. Guests or long term tenants stated it hasn't work in a while.Temperature was too low and the jets came on but quickly turned off. I asked about it at the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do, they tried, but would have to dig up lines. The dark haired gal at the front desk was rude, the other gals were nice. She had an attitude, heard her on the phone and experienced it in person - not a customer friendly type. They also need to trim trees prior to arrivals as they scratched the top of our RV. Not all sites offer cable TV and their wi-fi was poor. Okay place if you really need full hook-ups, but not a destination location. read more

These people know how to treat a customer! We didn't realize that we setting ourselves up for failure when we left on our multi state trip without real plans set in stone. We arrived in Idaho and quickly realized that no rv parks had any spots available. We decided to reach out to these kind folks and they gave us a spot and helped us with after hours check in. Just the way they spoke with us over the phone made it obvious that they were going to take care of us, and they did. We really enjoyed our stay at this RV park. It was convenient to the location we needed to trial our dogs at. We ate in our trailer or met friends and family for dinner or breakfast, at a plethora of restaurants in Eagle, only 5-10 minutes away. Very friendly staff. It was raining the day we were planning to leave and since we didn't need to rush home, it was simple to pay for another day. Super clean bathrooms with individual shower and toilet rooms. They even provide a stack of clean shower mats to step out on after showering. After using the mat, the user drops it in a laundry basket so they can be washed and ready for the next day. The bathrooms do close early in the morning for cleaning, so taking a shower for an early start to the day requires preplanning on the users part. I am not a morning person but was able to stumble over and manage. For the dogs, there is a nice gravel dog walk along a canal bank at the rear of the park. Our dogs enjoyed poking along that with mallard ducks and red-wing blackbirds to add to the smells to explore. We enjoyed it too. The central doggy area was closed due to some flooding from the ongoing wet spring. It looks nice and is grassy, instead of weeds and stickers like the doggy area after thoughts we have seen in other places. There are some trees that drop stickery seed pods, but I would guess those are raked up when the dog area is open. read more

We stayed here recently while driving home from our trip to Southern Utah. We planned on originally staying for 2 nights but ended up adding on an extra night since we loved the park and area so much. Our site was difficult to level out in since it was gravel but once we got it leveled we were good to go. We were close to the pool. There are a ton of stores and restaurants near by as well as a water park and family fun center. This park seems to have a lot of permanent residents here but they tend to group them towards the back of the park. We were parked in spots where it was short term stays. The grounds, dog park, pool, etc. were very well up kept. We will definitely be back as my son has plans to attend BSU in the future! read more

This park has an excellent staff that keeps the pool, bathrooms and grounds in great shape. We needed a temporary home for about 5 months and Hi Valley was the perfect fit for us. I like the location as its very near downtown Boise. The sites are very small close together, and it definitely caters to the baby boomers crowd. The facilities were very clean and the guys were Johnny-on-the-spot with refuse removal and propane refills. They even went above and beyond with repair advice and friendly smiles. The counter lady, however, spent most of her time spreading rumors and fostering a "CLICK" or high school mentality. I have stayed here before and that was not the case. Unfortunate.
