We have now stayed here multiple times and it's by far the best place in Boise that isn't super expensive. The rooms are nice clean, and attractive. The bar/lounge/restaurant serves good food. The staff are pleasant, polite, and quick to help. The location is convenient for travelers by air or car. It's also not that far from downtown. 10-12 mins.. We'd recommend it. read more

Stopped here on the drive from Zion NP to Seattle. Conveniently located right off the highway and immediately adjacent to the Boise super charger. These are the main reasons we booked this place so we're off to a good start. The hotel itself was much nicer than expected. Rooms are huge with a nice bathroom and very comfy bed. We slept great! Sadly we arrived too late to partake in the appertivo hour or even paid drinks but we did enjoy the breakfast with made-to-order eggs + a variety of cereals, yogurt, pastries, toast, potatoes, pancakes, and so forth. Quite a few restaurant options in the area. We don't recommend the Tortilla factory but thankfully there are lots of options. A+ stopover on a very long drive. read more

Six stars!! I stayed here the second week of April 2023 for a work trip/training. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in quite some time. The rooms were great, there was a pool that I used with my family, I did two workouts in the gym, and ate an amazing breakfast each morning downstairs in their restaurant/lounge area. There was also a manager's social-type event on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The lobby was also very impressive looking. But most notable is the staff. They were amazing! My wife and daughters stayed with relatives in Boise during the week while I attended training. But on the last night, my almost 5 year old wanted to spend the night with daddy...and so she could use the pool one more time. However, in packing up the room the next morning to leave and head back to Oregon, we realized once we got home that we had left her little kid pillow on her bed in the room. My daughter cried, and I felt terrible. After making several calls to the hotel over the weekend, they eventually found her pillow and mailed it back to us! I am not a stranger to Oxford Suites and have stayed at some of the locations in central California. What I love about Oxford Suites is that they are dog friendly (up to 2 pets per room, $29 per pet, per day), have a complementary evening reception with food and drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) and a substantial complimentary breakfast offering. It is also nice that there is free WiFi and parking. Please note that this location has plenty of Tesla charging stations in the parking lot for those that may find this feature beneficial. Being that I have had a great experience at previous locations, I knew I had wanted to stay at this location when visiting Boise. I made a reservation on hotels.com because they were able to offer a cheaper price per night than Oxford Suites' website. I stayed here a few nights with my husband and our little girl dog last month. Unfortunately, the evening reception still was not offered because of the pandemic so we only were able to enjoy the complementary breakfast each morning. Our room had a microwave and small mini fridge. The bathroom was very spacious and also had both a shower and separate bath tub. This is the only hotel where I really love their body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Typically other places give you the bar soap that dries out your skin and the shampoo and conditioner also ruin your hair, which is why I always bring my own. But their products are much better quality and smell fantastic. I also like that the bathroom has liquid hand soap instead of the bar soap, which does not dry out my hands. While staying here, we ended up using the coin operated washer and dryer, which cost $1 each. The washer and dryer can be found in the basement. There is also a little business conference room with computers available if you need to use it. If you need to print something, each guest gets the first 10 black and white prints out for free, in which you can pick up at the front desk (which was nice since I had to print out a page). With the pool and sauna, it is indoors. You can request towels at the front desk. There is also a fitness center but unfortunately was closed during this visit, because of the pandemic (as one employee had informed me when I was down in the basement looking for it). For breakfast, at the other Oxford Suites, you are able to get an omelet made to order, in addition to getting other hot food items like sausage/ bacon, potatoes, etc (whatever is available for that day) and then other food items on your own (beverages, cereals, fruit, pastries eat). But because of the pandemic, at this location, I lined up and had to wait for an employee to ask me what items I wanted and place them on a tray going down the line. During my visit, I had breakfast items that included breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich (on a croissant), scrambled eggs, potato, bacon. The breakfast was filling and I enjoyed it (even ended up saving the breakfast burritos to consume later too since it was individually wrapped). Pancakes and waffles were also offered but I didn't choose to get any but figured I would mention these offerings for those that do like having them. Hotel guests had the option of eating their breakfast there or back in their room, which is what I ended up doing each morning. Overall, I had a pretty good experience staying at this location and would stay here again. read more

My sister, who lives in Payette, had back surgery at St Luke's in Boise. Doctors wanted her to stay close to the hospital after surgery. As we had no idea when she would be ready to leave the hospital, a 4:00 checkin could mean hours of driving around town. I called this hotel and spoke to Shannon. She went very far out of her way to make sure our room would be ready whatever time we arrived. We spoke at least 3 times, including the day of surgery. During a very stressful day, Shannon's reassuring demeanor and professionalism was a welcome respite. The room was perfect, the property is beautiful and the complimentary snacks in our room were just what we needed. I'll be sure to highly recommend this hotel often. Pet friendly king room had a great bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, etc and I liked the toiletries. I would wager the pool and spa are adequate, however I arrived after closing time. There is an ample continental breakfast, and they will prepare you an omelet. I felt ashamed of how much food I put on my plate and did not eat because there were no flavors. I don't usually add much salt to my food but when I got back to the room I wish I did. My daughter had been to this place before and knew better. Had a 2 week stay due to work and the place is superb. Had big beds, big room, huge bathroom with separate shower and tub. Free breakfast included, a choice of eggs made to your liking. Either a pork patty or bacon, Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruits, greek and vanilla yogurt. Bread, oats A reception at 5.30 to 9.30pm. The reception includes free flow cold dish and soup, choice of 2 alcoholic drinks or soda. These a business center and laundry. Overall a great stay. But the chain only operates in OR and CA. If you don't want to head downtown, there are shopping/dining right around the corner. The rooms were nice with plenty of space. Breakfast included was very good with an omelette station. Fabulous find!!! The lobby is warm And inviting, as is the staff. I was traveling with 3 animals and they were welcomed Happily! They put me on the first floor as close to the front door to make transporting the animals in and out as easy as possible. I booked this hotel based on the fact that they were pet friendly, but I would absolutely come back here for a visit without pets! What an amazing little gem!!! AND very well priced!!! read more

I am pretty picky when it comes to staying in hotels and in fact will avoid staying at a hotel if at all possible. I always check reviews before staying and Oxford Suites had the best reviews for the area I was looking at. So, I expected they would be the most expensive. However, when I called in my reservation, not only were they one of the least expensive, they also offered a senior discount (One of many discount options for costumers). Check-in was a breeze and Eddy (the evening shift) host was extremely helpful and accommodating. He made sure we had everything we needed and was a fun guy to talk to. The room was the cleanest room I had ever stayed in! We had a suite with a kitchenette and pull-out couch, but the bathroom was where it was at! Clearly designed by a lady! A make-up mirror attached to the wall, make-up remover towelette and a make-up remover towell (black and clearly marked as such). There was a shower AND a soaker tub. The shower had a steamer feature that made it just like a sauna. So cool! I had never experienced that before! Continental breakfast was great! They had an omelette cook making made to order omelettes or eggs that were delicious. So many amenities at this place! They apparently also have a bar and maybe bar eats available at night? We didn't get there in time for that. But, it was a great stay and the only place I will staying (when it is available) from now on! And hopefully Eddy will be there! This was the weirdest best stay. When you check in, they give you free drink tickets, 2 per person over 21. Of course, the alcohol they have is bottom shelf, but honestly getting $3.50 of wine after putting my 7 month old to bed was phenomenal. Every hotel should have free terrible alcohol. The breakfast buffet is better than the alcohol, and there's a chef waiting to make eggs on demand. It's a great time. Overall, this is a great hotel that takes itself a bit more seriously than it is, and I'll totally be staying here again, I'd give them 6 stars if I could. read more

My parents have been staying here on trips to various Mountain States for a few years. All rooms have awesome and deep jacuzzi tubs. The entire bathroom is perfect. My spouse loved the "private pool." It also included a full complement of other perfect features for a hotel - a snack area with fridge, microwave, electric kettle, sink, tea and coffee along with a couch, desk, TV, good wifi quality, and there are some rooms with kitchenettes (larger fridge and a cooktop), fireplaces, and/or family suites. For my interests, there's an indoor pool, hot tub, and saunas (yes more than one type). The only small issue - the free breakfast was kind of "meh", but good enough to get your day started. During the busy times, book in advance for the best rates. If you need extended stay, they offer a good discount for longer stays and it's an awesome location as it's central to so many stores, restaurants, a theater, and Costco with car wash. Easy gas-up, re-stock, stores of many kinds, and lots of cheap *or* nice meal options. read more

It's really weird because when I started looking for lodging for my week in ID (mainly around Boise in the various ex-burb towns surrounding it) I almost booked this as our point of entry. I didn't because others gave another spot (Riverside) very good reviews which I don't understand after staying there. We did not have a reservation, as we usually don't on these sort of discovery trips, so walked in and was quite pleased to be able to snag a two niter. This place has complimentary beer and wine for a social hour, and has lots of restaurants close by. Elizabeth helped me and she was such a gem-(Hope you had a happy bday!). Later that evening when I saw her she said she forgot to offer a complimentary mini beverage for my bday also, which I declined but the hubs later on accepted. hahaha.I did laundry the following morning and the front desk gentleman (it was about 0630) was very helpful giving me change and everything. I really enjoyed my visit there and overall this was the best stay in my week. Good price and I believe I was given a military discount (i think they said they were veteran owned?). The bathroom and amenities are very nice. However, the room's alarm clock went off on its own the first morning of my stay. This alone could have been written off as a mishap from the last guest. Unfortunately, after the room was cleaned it was set AGAIN without my knowledge or consent. This was unfortunately the day of my flight out and cost me two hours of sleep I really could have used as I wasn't able to go back to sleep after it beeped. Worst of all, the front desk clerk was COMPLETELY unsympathetic when the complaint was registered, chirping off an insincere "sorry about that!" and nothing more. She could have at least tried to sound sympathetic. For the prices this hotel charges, I expect better. Will not be staying again. read more

Very large, clean room, with an enormous tiled bathroom that included both a bathtub and standup shower. Nice-smelling bath products. Well appointed room, but no coffee maker (just a teapot brewer). The hotel is directly adjacent to I-84, and though there is some insulation, the traffic noise is incredible, as are the jets that overfly frequently. The hotel provides one free drink at their "social hour", which is certainly a nice touch, but the host was gruff and indicated, with some impatience, that only certain classes of wine are available. The provided breakfast was appreciated, and though the hand-made-to-order omelette was excellent, the cook responded with a complete blank stare when I asked "Good morning, how are you?", and when I finished our interaction with "Thank you". I realize it's not the best job in the world, cooking breakfast at 6 in the morning, but if your guests are making an effort to be polite, the least you could do is be polite in return. read more

Oxford suites is amazing so far! Staying here for a few days as we transition into our new place. Its beautiful, friendly on the wallet, l and so clean! Also, located in an area that has so many things in walking distance. Staff is friendly, approachable and accommodating. The lady that checked us in when we arrived was sweet enough to give my littles some pennies so they could make a wish and throw it into the fountain. Breakfast is simple and delicious. They provide meal tickets for the duration of your stay. My kiddies were sad they didn't get to try out the pool. I didn't anticipate packing swimsuits when we initially packed up our home out-of-state. Currently pregnant so I wasn't able to take advantage of the Managers Social, the spa/steam/sauna but if we ever needed to stay in somewhere out of our home, we're coming back here! read more

We recently stayed at the Oxford. The hotel is very clean and up-to-date. I was really impressed with their refillable and tamper proof shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles. All the employees are really friendly. The best part of my stay was the food. They serve eggs made to order for breakfast (which is my favorite). They have a lot of choices for breakfast like cereal, oatmeal, bagels, fruits, pancakes and sausage or bacon. They have coffee (mana of life), hot chocolate, and an assortment of juices for drinks. In the evenings, they have wine, beer or soda for drinks. They also have chips and salsa, soup, salad and cheeses for appetizers. Go say hello to Jim, the awesome bartender. Now the appetizers won't tide you over all night so there are a few restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Too many for me to list here. The only thing people might not like about the hotel is that it's next to the freeway and can get quite annoying at night. But for some reason, I was able to convince myself that it's like my rain app (but with cars) and next thing I know I'm out like a light. I didn't check out the pool area because I only like to leave my room for food and I hate swimsuits. A little birdie did tell me that a lot of people throw their kids birthday there. Why did I not know this little tidbit when my little munchkin was just a little munchkin? If you are a Pokémon Go player there's a Pokestop right outside the hotel. If you end up in the right room, you can reach that poke stop just siting on your bed and you can flip that photo disc every 5 min and get poke balls galore. Enjoy your stay! read more

We stayed one night here (3/27/21-3/28/21) and we excited to do so. Check in process was great, Max Lee helped my family out and it was a breeze and he had great customer service. Thank you. Upon getting into the room it was just like the pictures spacious for my family, that was the main concern of mine and why we chose this hotel to stay at. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the two stars is given because of EDDY- who supposedly is the housekeeping stupidvisor...I mean supervisor. We had no issues until returning from dinner (around 11:30PM or so). We brought some ice cream from the store but forgot to get spoons so we just decided that we could just ask the front desk for some, for they have been accommodating thus far. My sister and I approach the counter to find someone. There was a man (eddy) with a off colored-beater collared shirt. He had glasses and was on the heavier built stature. He was sitting in the back room (we could see him from the counter) we got his attention to ask for some spoons. He acknowledged us from his sitting position, already with a irritated tone. "What can I do for you?!" We promptly asked for 5 spoons if he had, if not one would do just fine. He finally proceeds to us and said, again in an irritated tone, "well, I can see if we even have any...we only have two!" We took the spoons from him, said thank you and went up the elevator to our room on the third floor. We finally get into the room. My family and I getting ready for bed, about 10 mins later we got a phone call to our room. My younger sister answers the phone and says "Hi" and quick her face turned confused/sad. The POS eddy at the front desk told her that he is giving us a warning!! Too be quiet there is noise complaints. Knowing we weren't loud but just took the warning because obviously he was having a bad night. We then quietly started a movie on the tv and had our ice cream which we all shared the two spoons provided. During this time we realize that there is noise coming from the floor above us. About another 20 mins after the first call was made we got another phone call-yup from the same grouchy, rude, and misogynistic man eddy. This time my brother answered the phone, my brother firmly explaining that the noise is not from our room!! It was coming from the rooms above us. Sounded like kids running back and forth and a couple yelling at each other. He didn't wanna listen to him and he (I could hear him on the other end of the phone at this point) yelling to my brother, "THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!! OR I WILL KICK YOU OUT OF THIS HOTEL!" Then he hangs up. My mom, who is not a happy camper when she hears the man yelling at my brother on the phone calls eddy back on phone. My mom is explaining to him it is not us and to not threaten to kick us out on the street. She invited him to come to our room so he could hear what we are hearing and to confirm it is NOT US! He refuses and keeps saying he will kick us out, last warning. The Conversation goes around in circles. But at one time he says that he is calling everyone in the area to give them warnings. My mom then proceeds to ask him, "wait are you giving us a last warning because you think it's us or you don't know who exactly it is and you're calling everybody else in the area of the "noise complaint?" if that's the case you shouldn't be giving us a last warning. He then backtracks to saying that no it is you guys I came to your room and told us to be quiet. At this point we know he is a liar on top of everything else he portrayed to us because he did not come to our room to talk to us. This was not handled well and he still was saying he would kick us out. So my brother we decided to speak to the actual noise makers in rooms 418 & 419, who we're apologetic to my brother when he explained that they are going to get us kicked out for them making all the noise. After that my brother decided to go to the lobby and confront that POS whose name is, yup you guessed it EDDY, and told him no call our room again and don't threaten us to be kicked out again and to get his facts straight and actually investigate and not just throw threats out there! Tbh, our family did not get good rest last night because we were being held at fault for someone else's actions and a POS who wouldn't accurately do his job instead just accuses from the chair in his back room. We knew we could be kicked out at any point even tho nothing was our fault. This is my first stop for expressing my complaint. I will be going further through the corporate avenues as well. Recently stayed here at Oxford Suites on our way back to Washington. When we checked in, we were given 2 drink tickets and breakfast buffet tickets. The gentlemen at the bar that night was super friendly. The beds are super comfy. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING, so many options from fresh eggs, potatoes, ham, pastries, fruit, etc. Bonus, this hotel is within walking distance to the Boise Spectrum where we ate dinner that night. Parking in the front and tons in the back for bigger vehicles (like U Haul's). I will most definitely be staying here again if we are ever in Boise! read more
