Pros: The front desk lady was friendly at 11pm, the price was fair, they allowed our two dogs for a small fee, and the room (although dated) was extremely clean. The parking lot was well let and not too close to the I-84. Cons: we clearly heard our neighbors going in and out of their rooms, and the bed was sunken in the middle. It may have been okay for 1 person, but was uncomfortable for us as a couple. (To be fair, we own a pretty nice temper-pedic and had been driving for over 10 hours, so it may not be as bad for others). In conclusion, as long as you're not used to staying in expensive hotels, this place was a godsend as an inexpensive last-minute "why didn't we plan for this, where the hell are we going to stay with our two pitbulls" random motel right off the hwy. In addition, even though the motel has obviously been in business since the 70's, the room was cleaner than many more expensive hotels I've stayed in. read more

We stayed here one night on our trip from Oregon to Yellowstone National Park. I've stayed in a lot of budget motels and have a good tolerance for slightly run-down places as long as they're relatively clean and aren't a tweaker haven. That being said, this is one of the most depressing places I've ever stayed. I'm giving it two stars because the guy at the check in counter was friendly and efficient and we did not encounter bed bugs. It also didn't look to be a type of place people are living in; the other guests I saw and spoke to seemed to simply be just regular folks traveling on a budget. The room wasn't "dirty", but the whole place is run down and just kind of sad. They obviously are using some sort of very strong fake vanilla room freshener, but it just can't hide the musty smell that is certainly embedded in this old motel. The layout for the motel is also strange. It's two stories, with all of the room entrances off of interior hallways. Walls are definitely thin and floors are creaky. The hallways are as musty as the rooms. I think the owners are good folks who are trying to operate a motel on a shoestring budget near a truck stop in a depressed little town. But given the condition of the place and the overall atmosphere, it's probably the worst place I've ever stayed and even though it was cheap I feel like we paid too much. We had reservations here for the travel night back to Oregon, and I cancelled that the same night we stayed. I just couldn't imagine ending our trip with another stay here, so I booked a more expensive spot only a few miles south...it was absolutely worth the extra money to not stay here again. The property is rough the door trim for the room was roughly installed and no trim. The shower head was terrible and had to be scrapped to let the water flow out of more holes than just 5 or 6. The room appeared clean as did the bathroom, which was good. Its a property that needs a good renovation. A place to stay if you have to, not because you expect a nice place. read more

TLDR; Don't waste your $ on this place. Sadly, I feel they don't deserve it. You can see this motel from the freeway. After a long day driving I pulled over. The room was inexpensive at $65, but by the morning I felt I had paid too much. I had really low standards and they sunk below that. No pool, jacuzzi, or breakfast. Just tv and wifi. I couldn't get the wifi to work on my laptop. "DNS server unavailable." Front desk could do nothing to help me. I was really disappointed. They say they have satellite dish tv. It was just the same 10 channels listed 3x. The only thing I found to watch were 3 old sitcoms. I went to bed early. The room fridge didn't feel cold even though the setting is on 7. The freezer part did. I wished I had brought my temperature gun. I was woken up at 6am because the floor creaks and I could hear people walking around. I confirmed with the front desk that most of the guests were staying on the 2nd floor. Outside my door is their free coffee; a 1/2 full glass carafe on a little table. In the morning I noticed it hadn't been changed. Just the same coffee from 12 hours ago. Ice cold. I thought that was really gross and careless. No hot pot thermos with pump. Styrofoam cups that can't go in the microwave, not paper. The whole place feels run down. Nothing looks new. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for just a bed and nothing else. read more

I want to tell you this motel has been taken over by new management. Its so nice to be greeted by Kelli . She has a welcoming outstanding personality. She will go out of her way to make your visit as nice as possible. The old manager was always rude chasing her daughter around the halls. Never was as pleasant as it is now. The rooms are much cleaner and Kelli and her staff make it always welcoming. Her husband Jesse always seems to be sprucing up the spaces and also a very polite young man. We welcome the change and we will be back to visit them again. Thank you for making our stay nice and reasonable. read more

WORST motel I've ever stayed at! Made a reservation and upon arrival they didn't have a room for my mother and I. The owner was made aware and got us a room. Fine. This is a great motel! Actually for the price, it's outstanding! Management is wonderful! I stayed here twice in this trip and it's right off the highway so very accessible. Gas station and McDonald's 2 min away. I paid $95 for a two bedroom suite with air-conditioning, fridge, 3 beds, and all the amenities worked. It's a steal! Yes, it's an old motel so it shows its age, but there is no way you'd pay so little for what you get anywhere else. read more

My husband stayed here on a business trip, he does not recommend this hotel at all. After traveling and work all day he came to the hotel room to Discover his room not up to standards. First there was spider webs all around the room with bugs in the webs. Second when he tried to lock the door he discovered it would not lock. Upon investigation he found that the hotel had put the deadbolt in but never cut the hole for the deadbolt to slid into to lock. After that he tried to take a shower only to find there was no hot water, and when he went to the front desk there was no one there. There was a sign for people to ring the door bell. He rang the door bell and waited and no one ever showed up. After that he returned to his room to try to get some sleep. He woke up in the early morning to turn the ac on to find out it wasn't working.That was the final straw for my husband so he slept in his truck. The next morning my husband went to the front desk to inform them about the things wrong in the room to once again find no one at the desk. Once again he rang the bell and still no one show up. For my husband that was the last straw he and 5 other co-workers all checked out and stayed at a different hotel. read more

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I made a reservations weeks ago for this hotel for two rooms. When I showed up, they only had one room for me. The biggest problem was that the night manager gave me attitude and yelled at me instead up owning up to their mistake. He then said he was going to call the cops on me because I asked him what I was supposed to do now. On top of it, he was definitely watching porn in the back room. Customer service obviously does not matter to this establishment. read more

I would give more like a 2 1/2 stars, the people were great, very helpful but the place is very dated and the places nearby to eat, not as good as I would like. I would suggest to drive to Twin Falls to stay at a reputable hotel there next to some better dinning. The bed and room were fine but just very ran down. I didn't realize that Twin Falls was 40 miles from this location and they had great places to eat in Twin Falls. if you are just showing up late at night for a sleep over this is not bad at all, but if you want internet, pools and the other amenities that come with hotels I would just keep moving along. read more

Came here on a road trip to Jackson hole with my boyfriend and 11 month old. We requested a non smoking pet friendly room which is exactly what we got. The room did not smell and was very clean. We paid $55 and I was thrilled about that. The lady checking us in was as sweet as can be and even offered us a pack n play for our little one. The hotel had a tv, free wifi, a mini fridge and two queen sized beds. It's walking distance to a restaurant and gas station and the lady at the front desk also offered other suggestions for food in the area. I would definitely stay here again! read more

The reviews for this place were so good that we decided to give it a try. For the price this motel is good. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower had great water pressure, almost felt like a shower massage. The towels were good sized and quality and there were a lot available. Even with the AC on we could hear the highway so if you're a light sleeper, ask for a room on the other side. The rooms have been updated but could still use some more sprucing up (our bathroom door had a big hole in it). But, again for the price the furnishings were good. Our room had a new flat screen TV with a lot of cable channels. It's close to a truck stop with a restaurant, fast food counters and grocers so the convenience of the location is great! We were happy that this is a pet friendly motel but it would have been nice if there was somewhere to walk our dogs. When we arrived the owner's dogs were loose on the only grass around, didn't feel comfortable taking our dogs there so they had to do their business in some dry weeds and rocks. read more

Hotel smells like cigarettes and body odor and air conditioning blows warm air. The manager's dog attacked me. I had trouble connecting to the wifi and the manager told me it has been down for weeks. Sheets and towels were dirty and stained. No restaurants, no signs of civilization for miles around. I stayed 10 minutes then demanded a refund. I got a refund, but then they tried to charge me a cancellation fee. Disgusting and dishonest. read more

A diamond in the rough! Couldn't drive anymore, so I was going to stay here no matter what. The low sticker price actually worried me but the manager was friendly, the place takes pets and the room was great. Even the morning coffee was good and hot. A bit cheaper than the chains, much better and you're supporting a small business. It's about an hour+ south of Boise. If I'm anywhere near there again, I'll see if I can stop in again. read more

The management of this Motel is what makes this place great!!! They are the friendliest people I have met in a long time and go to great lengths to make a person feel welcome and have everything they need. They never complained at the many requests I had, from extra pillows to borrowing their hairdryer and were more than helpful when I needed help working the remote for the television. Being just off the highway, we thought it would be noisy, but it was surprisingly quiet and very peaceful. The rooms were clean and the management takes an active part in the housekeeping and other aspects of the motel. You see them around the property off an on all day. I recommend this Motel to everyone that is going thru this area. You will not regret staying here. read more
