Our road trip buddy even loved the joint.

Super cute small town joint, with a motel next door. We were here for the day/night at a bnb within walking distance. Friendly employees. Prices are excellent. Food was tasty. We had an early dinner and breakfast the next day. My kid proclaimed her French toast the BEST. She wants to drive back through this town just for it.

I love staying at old motels. They have character unlike the chain ones. This is a great slice of Americana with an added cafe to boot and only 59.00 I would rate it a 4 if there had been blinds or full curtains on the windows and there weren't old stains on the sheets and the carpet was kind of gross-but they do allow dogs..which may explain the carpet. Walls are thin & neighbors were up late-but AC blocked the noise. Mattress comfortable And great regional wine tasting across the street. Good burgers at cafe also. A nice overall reprieve from the highway & the heat!

Delicious home cooked food. The history of the place is really neat. Definitely a place to stop by and eat.

Vintage diner featuring horseshoe shaped counters with stools and booths. This is an original 1940's interior, with excellent food, cheerful service, and good prices. This is small town America eating at its best. Breakfast all day (steak, eggs, hash browns, pile of toast $7.95) plus burgers and sandwiches.

Picture of the room I stayed in. No idea why it came out sideways. Tilt your head. You need a neck stretch anyways : P

Service is very friendly and it's a great place to meet all the locals. The hotcakes are really good.

Stopped in one morning for breakfast and left there satisfied. Obvious to see during its "hay-day", it was a busy place.

We were able to get our table early which was great! Our Knob Hill Manhattan cocktails were served chilled to perfection and went down nicely. We started with a couple of appetizers, scallops and foie gras. The scallops were ok but the foie gras was the winner. What a combination of flavors! My mouth was very happy. We were seated at a table next to the window and in front of the fire place. A very nice table indeed. The restaurant is very cozy with great ambiance and I never felt that it was too loud and the service was great. Dinner for me was the Colorado Bass, cooked nicely with a crunchy skin. My friend had the pappardelle bolognese. I had a bite of that and it was delicious! Dessert though....Amaro Affogato. (Fun to say and defined: Bitter Drowned) A great way to end the meal. Get it.

I got the rainbow trout and it was cooked perfectly which is to say it wasn't overcooked. The salad bar was tasty, as was my Idaho baked potato. My husband got the steak tenders, onion rings and clam chowder and was also very happy. We will be back!
