Then my miracle happened: I found HappyNest! At the risk of TMI, I'll share that laundry is as equally dreaded as grocery shopping. I spoke to a (very helpful) HappyNest customer service rep on a Sunday, and 2 days later, put my laundry (confession: 2 months worth) on the porch and hoped for the best. The clothes were returned the next day clean, beautifully folded and packaged and fragrant. I encourage you to research what HappyNest offers, but here are the highlights: *You can choose a regular pick up day, or arrange pick-ups as needed (each area has its own schedule). *Via the app, you can choose how your laundry is handled (i.e. detergent, water temperature, fabric softener), with the ability to choose among several brands of products. *There is a space to note special handling of items, whether consistently or one-time. You can specify that certain clothes be returned on hangers (which HappyNest provides). *Customer Service is EXCELLENT! I have contacted the local franchise that handles my services a few times to clarify needs and my e-mails were answered within 1-2 hours, even on weekends. *Your laundry is NOT washed/dried with anyone else's. *Text messages are received as a reminder for pick-ups the next day, as well as when the vehicle will be arriving for pick-up or delivery.
