They navigated around everything and did a fantastic job of cutting , grinding and removing the trees without damaging the lawn or surrounding structures. Having previously used Superior Arbor Management (SAM), we felt that they would be able to handle this job for us. Tim Costley quickly answered our call, made an appointment to meet us at our property to evaluate our plans and offer advice. He was on time and ready to help. He walked the property with us, listened to what we wanted and told us what SAM could do and how long it would probably take. Options and alternatives were also suggested and after we decided on a plan, he promised (and delivered) a proposal and estimate that evening. The proposal and estimate were what we had requested and the price was reasonable. We let Tim know that we wanted to go ahead with the project. We He called to schedule the work at a date which worked well for us. His crew arrived on time with everything they needed to do the work and went straight to work. More was accomplished than we had anticipated and they even continued to work through a short rain shower. At the end of the day, they cleaned up and left two very satisfied customers. A large limb damaged my shed from the tree work they were doing, and when Joseph Bryant Byrd II, the owner, was confronted, he tried to lie about it, claiming his crew said a small branch fell, then tried to accuse me of lying about it by insinuating the damage was preexisting. The crew also refused to tell my fiancee, who was home at the time, about the incident. I came home after work and found the damage. I also was told I would be given notice the day before and I wasn't. I got a call from my fiancee saying the people were there to cut the tree. Initially I told them they needed to reschedule because they couldn't keep up their end of the agreement concerning proper notice. After talking some with Joseph, I let them continue to work. A truck that was originally blocking my gate didn't end up needing to be moved. My shed did not leak before they showed up, but did after. When I called him on his lies, he got mad and told his crew to leave. Accidents (or accents as he said in his text to me) happen. It's all in how you deal with it. If the shed was damaged prior, it would have been documented and recorded. It wasnt. His lies were based on the fact that the tree was solid enough to climb, while also being so rotten that it would "shed limbs because dead trees shed limbs." Joseph Byrd is a pathetic excuse for a man and a business owner, and if you're willing to do business with a liar and crook, he's the man for the job. If you want to be taken care of should an "accent" happen, find someone else.

They left all of the tree trunks and debris in my yard, they tried to charge me extra to remove it when it was included in the original bill and payment. I agreed to pay the extra just to get rid of it and them and they never returned to finish the job despite several promises from the owner Lance Piper. I was forced to hire and pay someone else to remove the trees. They took advantage of the fact I was out of town and they were paid in full for half of the job.
