We (group of 3) recently visited AMC Arapahoe Crossing 16 and had a good experience overall. The staff was efficient and made the ticketing and concession process quick and painless, exactly what you want before a movie. Even though i only got popcorn. The theater itself could have used a cleaning, but the comfortable seating and excellent sound quality made up for it. We were there for Devil Wears Prada 2 and the experience was great! A nice spot for catching new releases, I'll be back. read more

Friday night, I took four littles to the 5:35p showing of SpongeBob, theater #4, back row, seat 7. We arrived early so we could get our popcorn and drinks. There was not a line so we ordered immediately and the crew was friendly. I really like the soda machines at AMC because they have vanilla Coke zero. The littles love AMC because of the great slurpee flavor choices. Theater four was clean and the recliners worked great. Super comfy. Overall great experience and we will continue to go to AMC for movie time. read more

Really impressive theater. I was happy to see a big Masters of the Universe cardboard display right at the front entrance. Got me even more excited for the movie. Sadly they didn't have any He-Man merchandise yet. Large theater, looks fantastic for movies, and this year's lineup looks stacked with things like Supergirl and the upcoming Steven Spielberg movie. We went to the AMC at Arapahoe Crossing to watch Avatar! We watched the movie in the Dolby 3-D theatre which was amazing! The screen was extremely colorful and interactive. I'd highly suggest seeing a movie in this theatre. The service counter was also very good and quick. My only two downfalls for this place are that's the bathrooms are located at the very front entrance! It's a trek to get there during the movie if you need a quick bathroom break. Also, the previews were extremely long! I've never experienced previews this long before. When we added the previews to an already long movie, it felt extreme. read more

This movie theatre is just okay. I was just talking to others on my last trip that the building itself needs to be repainted. The side walk needs a good pressure wash. The entire outside facade needs to be polished up and repainted badly. The carpets need to be cleaned as they are very pungent smelling. The bathrooms are clean thank goodness. The food has never gotten me sick and the soda machines are not a mess. The inside of the theaters need new carpets and new chairs. Movies haven't been that great for a few years for AMC to reap the financial benefits to do some refurb. I come here because it's close to home . read more

My first time coming to a movie theater in three years and I remember why. I thought this was the Southlands location, but I couldn't quite remember the name of the movie theater. I was running behind, but I figured I could order from my seat. When I realized that I had got the wrong theater and I had to order from the counter, I rushed to order and decided on the cheese pizza and a water. I wish I had a little bit more time to decide, but I didn't want to miss any of my movie. The girl had burned my first pizza and she apologized and said she would make it again and I stressed to her that my movie was starting. While it was not her fault for my poor planning, I also needed them to login and make sure that they didn't burn my pizza again. She also brought it to my attention that the oven runs a little hotter, so it tends to overcook peoples food often. She took this next pizza out right on time and in some areas it was a little overcooked and in some areas it was like just almost underdone. The pizza all in all was terrible. It tasted water down. It tasted like the pizza sauce had too much water in it. The cheese had too much water, I don't even know how that's possible, it tasted like the crust and everything in between just had way too much water in it. It baffles me how much they charge for theater food yet it tastes terrible. I now remember number one why we used to bring our own food to the theaters and number two watch I'm going to the movie theaters and just wait for it to come on streaming. The money that you spend on the tickets and the food at the theater, you can just rent or buy it at home get your own food and sit in the comfort of your home for the exact same price if not for less. Next time, if I ever do decide to go to a theater will not be at this location. read more

At first I must say I love the look of the building and will go out of my way for a nice movie theater with recline chairs and a bar. The first time visiting I met up with co workers. And actually ordered food before hand. My mistake was ordering it and then they said it would be delivered to the seats and it was a no show. I had to go to the food court and let them know. So it was a whole song and dance. Did t really put a good taste in my mouth..but I digress. The prices of the tickets have gone up. Even for matinee prices I was surprised. Or maybe it's because I haven't been to theater since Covid haha! Bathrooms need cleaning.. Either way there is always room for improvement read more

Giving four stars for the excellent movie, Bonhoeffer-it is a much watch! Checking in was very quick and easy and the check-in individual was very friendly and efficient. What I didn't like was that the theatre was very dirty (popcorn, napkins all over the floor, etc). They need to clean up more often and the patrons need to pick up after themselves. read more

Before COVID, this place was kept tidy. After COVID ( just like anywhere else), this theater's hygiene and service declined. Last week, we ordered a bucket of popcorn, and it tasted horrible. It seemed like the oil they were using was stale. We had to ask for a refund. Also, it has tasted extremely salty. The bathrooms are not clean--there is a lack of management for sure. read more

The interesting Japanese looking architecture of this AMC was what lead us to choose to watch the new Planet of the Apes at this movie theatre. We saw it in imax as well. The theatre itself was not the cleanest and the chairs were old and not as comfortable as the ones I've had at other AMCs around Denver. I just went and caught the Dogma special rerelease, and that "premium" AMC theater was a nightmare. Got there and they had moved it into a smaller theater than when we bought our tickets last month, and suddenly discovered that three of our four seats didn't exist in this theater (C13-16 - but the row stopped at 13). My hip was in full flare-up, so I couldn't hobble back down to the front. My kid went on our behalf. The guy was wholly uninterested in her issue. He just shrugged and said they had to downsize. Those were $20 tickets, my dude. Fine, he sighed, and told my daughter we could sit in the back row (we had been in the front row of the back section) because he was 80% certain no one was sitting there. We move seats, and the reclining mechanism is touchy. Shift in your seat, and the whole thing will recline you flat or sit you up straight. Finally, the lights go down - no trailers - and the audio starts up - no visual. This goes on for more than 5 minutes (through the opening title cards and the scene with George Carlin's speech about the Church). One of our party finally gets up and leaves to tell the management. He comes back, audio-only still playing, and says they said they were working on it. Finally, the movie shuts off, the lights come up, and someone from behind the back wall yells, "We're working on it." Another few minutes, and the movie finally starts up correctly. No apologies. After the movie, I stop to use the restroom, and it is trashed. Water and crumpled paper towel all over the floor. The soap dispenser is out. The place is a dump and the people in charge of the "movie going" experience are awful. The only plus side was the folks at the Concession Stand were very nice. read more

I was last here for a movie in Dec 2019. They have a large parking lot adjacent to a shopping center. The same Asian motif outside continued on the inside. It was easy to purchase tickets for the 2 movies I came to see. They have a good selection of popcorn, candy and soda pop. There is a separate section for Coca Cola products. They have a bar for adult beverages. Both theatres were clean and just right temperature-wise. Despite previous reviews, I found the restrooms to be clean and well stocked. They only have 1 main men's & women's restrooms + 1 family restroom. Most other chains have smaller restrooms between individual theaters. read more

I like this theatre since it is a replica of the famous movie theatre in Hollywood California on the walk of fame. The staff at this location were fast and polite when scanning in my ticket and at the snack bar. The seats recline and are comfortable which makes viewing the movie enjoyable. The whole theatre was clean both inside and out and had clean smelling environment. Good pace to go on a date night after grabbing some dinner at a nearby restaurant. read more

Another movie time! We had to go to the theatre for Black Widow. That's the only way to watch a Marvel movie. Purchased our tickets online, selected our seats and got it scanned on the way in on our phone. It was lovely to enter and see all the other movie goers. Concessions are open and the smell of popcorn permeated the air. Soda machines and snacks. Yum. The theatre staff were friendly and welcoming. Before the movie started one of them let us know that there was a bonus scene at the end. And it looked like they were waiting to clean the seats as we left. This theater is seriously the best I ever went to in my life! They have a bar where you can buy drinks on the inside which I never seen that before! The seats are all electronic and recline and if you order with the mobile app you can get the staff to deliver your popcorn and drinks right to you!!! read more

Movie going experience is excellent. But $40 to see 3D IMAX of Doctor Strange 2? That's overpriced. $50 more for popcorn, snacks and drinks for two? Far too much. And theater owners really expect the crowds to return willing while they're gouging them. P.S. And we had to wait 10 minutes to get the hot dog we ordered. The person who sold to us did *nothing* afterward: why didn't he take responsibility and communicate to another staffer to serve the customer? read more

This is a very good AMC theater, they have an amazing staff that were very helpful and friendly. The theaters are large and seating is amazing. It's a little expensive but a great place to watch a movie. read more

I never leave reviews for anything anywhere, but I am at the Blue Beetle showing for 7:25pm on September 2nd... and the sound mixing for the movie is terrible. The music is very loud while you could hardly hear the dialogue and the sound effects. This has been a problem for most of the showings I've seen at this theater in the past but this so far has been the worst as well as the most frustrating. I like this AMC theater a lot and the more asian design of the building. Please fix your audio mixing so I come back to this theater again, cause it's consistently bad. read more

If you're used to an Alamo experience, don't torture yourself by coming to see a flick here. The food and drinks cost more and are substantially more sub-par and lacking in variety. I went to a nooner matinee and was told that I couldn't purchase a beer until 1:15 (an oddly specific time given to me by a ticket clerk after asking several people what the deal was with the abandoned bar. Also, no seat side service. I've been spoiled by Alamo's superior food and beverage services. read more

My new rating is based on the last six experiences at this theater. My favorite theater is number 16. All my previous qualms have been addressed. My number one issue was restroom cleanliness. The bar is still well stocked and now we'll staffed. All employees ask if I have the Stubs membership and I am sure I am getting the most out of my visits to AMC Arapahoe Crossing 16. I want to commend management and staff on the great improvements. Still falling short of a five star rating due to paper straws and popcorn butter stations advertising condiments that are not available. Also, broken Slurpee machines. We came here to see Dumbledore's secrets. This place is absolutely freaking disgusting. The restroom for men didn't look like it was cleaned in months. The trash cans are over flowing everywhere. I asked for butter to be placed in the middle like I have done for 15 years of coming here. All I got was pushback from the scrawny scruffy, stinky kid that worked behind the counter. Further more the movie malfunctioned and was displaying all kinds of strobe light graphics on the screen. This was the worst experience I've ever had in a movie theater in my entire life. Used to like this theater. Then they changed up the platform for the concession stand. If the new model is: raise the price to an outrageous level, don't hire enough staff, run out of popcorn, never clean the self service soda stand, never replenish items at the condiment bar, then they are hitting on all points. read more

I have been going to this theater longer than any other in the Denver metro area. It the best theater in the South Eastern region, and is conveniently located on the NE corner of Parker Road and Arapahoe. Prices (with AMC Stubs) are very reasonable all day Mon-Thurs and Fri-Sun (before Noon). The Good: AMC Stubs Promotion allowing for $5 movies and accumulated credits Generally solid picture and sound The new IMAX screen The Bad: Theaters in the back have small screens and are not stadium seating. The place is showing its age, and the seats are due for replacement/upgrade The only bathrooms are located off of the lobby, which can make for a long walk The Ugly: Seems to have more than its fair share of inconsiderate patrons who are cell-phone addicted or generally noisy. I am amazed how many people text right through the "please no calls or texting" announcements. If you are lucky, they will stop by the time film starts, and then only check them 15 times during the film. read more

When one comes to a theater watching a movie is the biggest reason and of course we don't come for the customer service. This review is more of standing here watching teammates belittle each other with customers present. There is a new employee being trained and I feel sorry for him as the teammates training him seem annoyed to do so. Not to mention when coming around to get my preordered food, the lady behind the counter made a huge "Ugg" sound like my approach was an inconvenience. Now she could be having a bad day and luckily, being kind is something I fully believe in. Didn't say a word, used please and thank you but did not appreciate how she made me feel or watching how this new employee was treated. No matter how bad of a day we are having it should not be taken out on those around us. Out of all the theaters we do come here the most due to the experience of watching movies from the screens. Whoa, this theater has gotten a major facelift and is wonderful! I'm not a big movie goer because I get antsy and I'm pretty frugal but the AMC Arapahoe Crossing 16 may change that. If you are paying with a credit card, you pay at a kiosk now vs. ticket booth. They didn't have anyone checking tickets which was a little odd but ok......Oh! And in addition to classic movie snacks, they have a bar with specialty drinks, wine and beer. Perfect for a date night or if you want to be by your lonesome and drink your sorrows away! And now onto the main reason we come here.....the theater. Holy crap--they pimped it out! Comfy seats that recline along with a leg rest, it was spacious, comfortable and I swear the movie we saw went by quicker because I was so comfortable! So yeah, I will definitely be coming here again to get my summertime movie fix! read more

Went to Colorado for a fun trip, came to this theatre to watch Insidious (horrible movie $34 down the drain), ordered $50 worth of concession foods which was trash... and to top it off... while watching the movie we had rats in or under our seats! Completely unacceptable. read more
